Final Update: Career is 100% fixed with no problems. Liente was awesome and helped me with fixing the icons. No more updates will be needed
I will admit that making a career was way harder than I was expecting it to be. There were a few bumps in the road, but I managed to find the solution with some help along the way from numerous people. So, with excitement, I am pleased to offer you Drama Club! I'm hoping that more clubs will soon follow this one...
This "club career" has chance cards for all three levels. I had a lot of fun writing them and I hope you enjoy them. Below is information about the level descriptions, salaries, hours, days, and promotion needs. I have left out the chance card text on purpose....hehe. Its more fun that way. But please let me know what you thought of them later on Though I will tell you none of the outcomes will result in firing, but they can be demotions, skill loss, and even paying simoleans.
I have tested the career in game myself and the icon is cut off for some reason, but I have no way of fixing it unfortunately...I have tried everything. Please let me know if you have any problems with the career! I used an EA icon so it fits perfectly with the game.
The descriptions are from the female text.
Level 1 Production Crew Member
Days: W, F
Promotion Needs: +1 Cleaning and 1 Friend
Description: You recently auditioned for a part in the school play, but lost it to the snooty school play favorite who sits behind him in Social Studies. She really gets under your skin! You still want to help in some way, so you ask the drama teacher if you can help backstage. They assign you to the Production Crew. Your main job is to prepare the sets between each scene, prepare the cast make-up and help with outfit changes. Though you won’t be in the spotlight, at least you’ll be in the program the audience reads.
Level 2 Background Cast
Days: M, W, F
Promotion Needs: 2 Friends, +1 Charisma and +1 Body
Description: After spending some time back stage and talking with cast members while putting on their make-up, You have gotten some tips on how to score a role in the next school play. You were hoping to get the lead role, but you’ll have to settle with being part of the scenery. You're pine tree #3 to be exact. It's time for you to go above and beyond and impress your drama teacher in order to score a main role.
Level 3 Lead Role
Days: M, W, F
Resulting Skills: 1 Body, 1 Charisma, 1 Cleaning and 2 Friends
Description: After some long hours looking over lines and practicing, You have finally landed a lead role in the upcoming school play! Your drama teacher uses you as a comparison to all the other auditions and the snooty school play favorite is upset you took her lead role. Friends and family tell you to enjoy the spot light and break a leg!
The carpool will be the minivan, for each level. Kinda like a car pool mom or friend picking them up :p
I left the outfits to none since I wanted to leave the plays their sims are in up to the players.
I hope your teens enjoy this club career and please hit thanks!
