THANKS, I noticed like other user that in Bridgeport this MOD acts differently. When my Sims live in a high-rise they change to formalwear and also the Mascot was in normal clothes. I always cancel the paper so not sure how he looked. Anyway not a big deal to me and I thank you for coming up with this cause anything is better than work uniforms. :)

Outwear and sometimes formal wear. It was in Bridgeport.

Thanks for the info. All users who encountered the problem pointed to Bridgeport as well. I'll look into it in my free time and see what I can do.

I just had a firewoman show up to put out a fire in her everyday clothes -- in Sunset Valley. -I'm using the routing fixed version (http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=451817).

Edit: Now a plainclothes burglar captured by a plainclothes cop hauled off in a taxi. I added LN style NPC apt housing so maybe that is the shared issue.

There's a couple of bugs, thought you'd be interested to know.

1) Like some have reported, NPCs show up wearing everyday clothes - Maid, Repairman, etc...

2) And this is a big one - This mod disabled autonomous parties. You still get the invitation, but the "attend party" call will never arrive. Also when you go into town mode, there is no party icon anywhere.

I just wanted to confirm bug number 1, saw it in my own game.

Update: After stalking the paper boy and mail lady for a week, I was still unable to reproduce the problem or notice anything unusual. Do they wear casual clothes every single day or just sometimes?

I'm having a similar issue. The newspaper kid and the mailman wear their uniforms to my house, then as soon as they've delivered the paper or the mail, they spin into their casual outfits. You know how the newspaper kid and the mailman hang around for a few minutes after delivering their stuff? Yeah, they hang around in their everyday outfits, since they change the instant they've delivered their item. (I'm playing in Twinbrook, if that makes a difference.)

I've made some mods for The Sims 1 -- yes, The Sims ONE :-) -- which you can find at http://corylea.com/Sims1ModsByCorylea.html

It forever bugged me in the game when my sims would run around in whatever outfit they had on for work - esp the criminal path! Thanks so much.

Still working fine! Occasionally service sims (e.g. police, firemen and the newspaper kid) will also change clothes but since they go away quickly I don't mind. SO happy my neighborhood is finally filled with sims wearing their proper Everyday clothes again :)

Slightly edited version
This version shouldn't touch role and service sims, when they do their job.

Update: Added tuning to disable the mod for sims from the active household (except roommates).
Update 2: Fixed an issue reported by Sazandora123 below.

This used to work fine for me, but after reinstalling Sims 3 on a new computer and putting all my mods and CC back in, this mod started apparently conflicting with NRaas Overwatch, where sims deleted with Master Controller would be restored every night and ghosts would get reset as well.
