Updated To Work With Game Version 1.28.25.1020 March 23rd Patch


MUST HAVE THE EXPANSION PACK GET TO WORK INSTALLED TO USE THIS MOD

Not getting enough time at your active career to earn that promotion...... Running out of time to finish all tasks...... Working hard with pitiful wages......

Well not any more......

Now you can stay at work for 15 hours while still having the option to stay later and the end of the shift. I have now added a 12 Hour work day version

Not only do you stay at work for longer hours you now get 10X more wages......

This mod changes the active career duration of the Doctor, Scientist and Detective only.......... All other careers will retain their normal working hours as set out by EA.

This mod will conflict with any other mod that alters the career level xml tuning files for the Doctor, Scientist and Detective.

This mod will conflict with any other mod that alters the Sim Data aspiration files

Basic Download and Install Instructions:
1. Download: Click the File tab to see the download link. Click the link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.
Read the upload description for installation instructions. If nothing else is specified, do the following:
No Extraction Required (Script Mods):
1. Cut and paste the .zip file(s) into your Mods folder
  • Windows XP: Documents and Settings\(Current User Account)\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\
  • Windows Vista/7/8/8.1: Users\(Current User Account)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\
Script mods need to be placed directly in \Mods or one level below that (e.g. \Mods\Scripts) – sub-folders nested any deeper won’t work.
Extraction Required (Everything Else):
1. Use WinRAR (Windows) to extract the .package file(s) from the .rar or .zip file(s).
2. Cut and paste the .package file(s) into your Mods folder

Need more information?
  • Anyone can use both .rar and .zip files easily! On Windows, use WinRAR.
  • If you don't have a Mods folder, just make one.
  • Mod still not working? Make sure you have script mods enabled

This is now updated to work with Toddlers Patch. I have removed previous versions and only updated 15 hour work day (with extra wages). I will update other versions next weekend.

I'm also using the 12 hour mod and my game is acting a tad crazy as well. Love the mod but removing it for the meantime until the next update. Thanks for the mod, looking forward to the update!

Sorry haven't gotten around to the 12 hour version yet. I will get to it tomorrow or Sunday.

12 Hour version has been added, please only choose 1 option as both will cause your game to crash.

Default Love the mod!
I love this mod, the original work day didn't give enough time to get anything done. Especially is the game lagged even a little. I did want to know if you'd thought of making it with just the longer hours and not with the pay increase? Sorry if someone has already asked this. I like the mod but my sims just came home with 29,000 simoleons which is to unrealistic for me. If you haven't thats cool too, you're the modder. Keep up the great work! Thanks for the mod!

may be a bug.
when it's time to go to work, the sim just hangs around in the house, but it shows that he is working. after working hours the sims is still shown to be working.
if I restart the game he would have already resigned.

Similar to mactrocks and likiesimmy203, Ive had a bug where my game keeps going to the manage world screen. it won't let me play any households and keeps loading the manage worlds screen. Has anyone else experienced this? I tested to make sure it wasn't another mod i was using by only having this mod installed, then again with all my other mods but removed this one. If this mod wasn't present, the game worked fine, but putting this one back in, the issue happens. Any advice on this cos its an awesome mod and i really would like to use it!!

I was thinking of this too, a version with the original salary, but with the longer hours. Still love the mod, nice work
