Game version 1.67
(might work with other patch levels, beats me)
I'm not particularly a fan of the fist bump, but I needed an excuse to try a mod like this.
This is a xml-defined custom social interaction.
It's a friendly interaction (so it's nested inside the friendly pie menu when clicking on another Sim).
It will work only when used in the right STC (Short Term Context): that box displayed in the top-left
corner of the screen when Sims are using social interactions shows what the STC is
(Friendly, Romantic, Bored, etc).
It works only for teens and [young] adults.
It will work only between Sims who are friendly (or better) wih each other.
It will NOT work between Sims who have a romantic relationship.
Note: these limitations are xml defined, but changing some of them is not as easy as the usual xml tuning.
I've only done 1 version of the animations (and that means 4 animations total) that works
well with Sims of the same height (based on the age category). I've ensured within the
code that the interaction can only be used between Sims with compatible height
(but this is xml tunable).
The mod is xml tunable (see the Arsil.FistBump.Main
xml resource), if you don't like
my default settings you can change them (but if you set False to kSameAgeCategoryOnly
then you'll need more animations to make them look good: a2t_*, t2a_*, maybe even
versions specific for Elders/Children in case you unlock the interaction for them too).
Try to use the interaction 2 times in a row on the same Sim to see the bored reaction
version of the animations.
The interaction counts as chatting (but also a hug does), so dreams about chatting with
a specific Sim will be fulfilled if this interaction is used on that Sim.
The interaction improves (or decreases) the relationship between the Sims involved
(I guess by a default amount).
I've tested the animations using Teens, so they will look better when performed by them.
There is some clipping between the "fists" (knuckles and fingers) when used by adults.
I don't fully grasp all the details on how these interactions are defined, so I don't recommend
using as reference how this interaction is defined, but I hope this will help a bit people interested
in them as the xml resources are heavily commented.

I've used THIS
as reference for the fist,
but I did the animations myself from scratch (you can tell because they are as ugly as usual).
