A request came through earlier and gave me ideas so I went for it! Thank you for the request fellow simmer: katiardguez!

There was an autonomous interactions mod created by weebl 101 but hasn't been updated since Jan 2016. Click HERE for their mod. I didn't want to go through updating the whole mod. I mostly hated the fact that my sim had to always do the proposing. Where's the surprise in that? Anyway I also absolutely hated that giddy interaction that always took place after an acceptance of the proposal.

Do to the large changes happening with autonomy and the moods and conversation atmosphere, this may take a few adjustments to get it just right.
I would like you to let me know, since everyone plays differently, how does it seem to work for you? Are they progressing to fast? to slow? Not at all? Do they seem to spontaneous? Are they proposing or breaking up, divorcing based on their moods, or conversation? Your feedback will help make this mod better!


Changes with this mod that will effect how your sims act when it comes to proposals and breakups:
Proposals: The more romantic your sims conversation gets, the higher the odds of either sim proposing to the other. An inspired sim may proposal from feeling inspired in their life but it is more likely a flirty sim will propose. If their conversation isn't going very well they probably won't propose. you will need to get them flirty. The higher it gets the greater the odds. Example: an amorous conversation is less likely to propose than a suggestive conversation. Steamy conversations have a greater change to propose.

Breakups: Breakups including just asking to be friends may happen depending on the sims mood. If they are angry and just down right ticked off, maybe your sim should try to calm them down and help them recover from what is going on in their life because if you don't, they could be so angry at life all together that they don't even want to be in a relationship with your sim! If your relationship puts the other sim into a bored mood or uncomfortable mood they may break it off with you. Don't worry, if they are happy or flirty or just in a good mood your should be fine. Other things that will effect the breakup will be your conversation atmosphere. What I mean by that is, if your conversation because awkward they may break up with you. An offensive conversation is more likely to breakup with you than a distastefull. If your conversation is going good than you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Traits: different traits effect whether or not a sim is likely to propose. Since traits in this game make romantic and flirty sims flirty easier or just from lack of romance they are more likely to propose and less likely to break up, that is unless you really tick off one of these romantic sims. Sims who are hotheaded or mean tend to be in a bad mood anyway and may use mean interactions that change their mood or conversation and may break up with you and are less likely to propose.

Doing your best to keep moods and conversations where you want them should resault in one of the interactions.

So what does this mod do?

Now your sim no longer needs to ask for another sim to be boyfriend/girlfriend if you don't want them to!
No more weird proposal<--They will now whisper romantically into the other sims ear. Be careful! They can still reject!
No more giddy!<--Now they will instead do something a little more romantic!
The guy will Kiss the girls hands and the girl will Kiss the guys cheek! awww so sweet!
~I chose romantic interactions that weren't quite so intimate since at this stage your sim is just getting to know the other and just getting started on their relationship!~

Now your sim does not have to do the proposing if you don't want them to!
No more giddy! <--If they aren't doing that then what are they doing, you ask? Well instead they will do a few different things depending on the proposal and of course if it succeeds. Here are the possible possibilies!

*Shy Kiss*
*Whisper Nothings*[/B

All interactions in the game are randomized. Unless it's for a motive. Give it time! Be patient These pictures for this mod took my sim and her guy to be dating for 12 sim days and already had a baby together before he finally popped the question


"Its been a long time why have they still not proposed?"
Even though the interactions have a greater chance of the proposal doesn't mean it will happen. Check the sims mood, the conversation, and traits, these contribute to the sim proposing.

What does the Autonomous Breakups! Offer?
Now any sim could autonomously break up, divorce or ask to just be friends.

Will my active sim autonomously breakup?
Yes

Do my sims have to be in a bad relationship?
Yes. Now they need to have a bad mood or conversation in order to end the relationship.

Will NPC's autonomously break up?
Yes

Why does my sim seem to be crying more after the breakup?
I added more crying interactions to the files. So don't be surprised if they shove their faces into their hands and cry more. Or the target sim actually cries and wipes the tears off of their face

I created more flavors. That way you have the option for your way of playing.

No this is one of these traits that you can equip your houses with! I added it to a nightclub so the environment would autonomously give off a romantic vibe, but I never see my Sim get flirty in this house. It seems like for whatever reason the nightclub traits don't work... Also I added Vampire Nexus to many houses, yet never see vampires coming by, no idea what's going on. It's like the lot traits don't work.

EDIT: I also added a new Sim to Forgotten Hollow and the welcome wagon was 3 days too late, that never happened before either.

Have you removed mods and see if anything works? Is your MCCC updated for your patch level? I've had really weird things happen when my MCCC wasn't updated lol. Since in this mod all I did was change values and a couple interactions after the first interaction is accepted, it shouldn't effect any traits even lot traits. Also this mod doesnt force any flirty moods, they still have to be brought on by conversations or mood so something is stopping the aura from working. Check other mods also and make sure they are updated and not broke from the recent patch

It's the bowling pack. It happened on the bar in the lot that they made for it called Oasis Springs Dust Bowl.. the bar is called 'domo arigato bar' and it came with the pack.

The other mods I have are your social and vampire interaction tuning mods and faster showers and baths by you, and auto repair and power nap by LittleMsSam. I'm also testing a child guidance need mod. I'm not sure what would conflict with what. I'm going to run the mod conflict tester with everything and I'll let you know what I find.

edit// I tested it with the mod conflict detector and it said all of your mods conflict basically.

All my mods are, are Overrides of the original file. The only time they are going to conflict is if another mod modifies the same XML file. All my mods are designed to work together if they happen to change the same file. Example, there is a vampire tuning specifically made for one of the pregnant death flavors. They mention on their page which ones to use. So unless that pack has a change in the xml files it isn't going to conflict. I have had experience in the past with sims 3 detectors not always being accurate and since most of my mods don't change the same files it isn't possible for them to conflict with each other. Also does that detector say they conflict with each other or the game or the pack? Again, I don't have that pack so I can't verify if it conflicts.

Also none of my mods do anything with any objects. So if it's the bar object on the lot messing up it isn't my mods.

Uh oh... I just check the mod Romance is fun with WinMerger, it's a program that lets you see differences in two files which are the same. I checked just now my exported files with ALL packs installed and the newest patch. The file that I am looking at right now is called: S4_E882D22F_00000000_0000000000006FC4.mixer_social_Kiss_targeted_romance_middleScore.InteractionTuning

The whole window is yellow with differences between both files, I see EA decided to change a few lines to look slightly different. I will check what else I can see to be different except your changes of course!

Edit: Hmm I don't know, I do not think these changes are really problematic, I mean there are all these changes to strings etc. but I think these should not make any trouble, so it should be fine!

Thank you! I've been so busy trying to figure out what is wrong with my sims 3 and now I have hard drive failure that I haven't had a chance to look deeply into it. Thank you bunches Tanja! I will go through and fix then all as soon as I can

I think maybe I fixed my game, because sims were resetting after jogging too. I didn't mean to accuse your mod of doing it. The bar thing just didn't happen after I removed it. I did have 2 really outdated speed mods that I removed and my sims stopped resetting after jogging. Hopefully this fixed my issues.

I just put those 2 files in you mentioned above and there aren't any differences other than my changes. Are you sure you got the right File?

I think I know on the string wording that you are seeing. In the code anything between <!-- --!> is not read by the game so differences there is ok.

oh and one more thing: since you're good with replacements of interactions, could you make some replacement for "saying I love you" interaction? I hate them reading some damn poems then maybe some whisper would be better?

They come with the more romantic interactions.

If you want to keep the giddy interactions, the files has it in the name "original interactions".

Now on what file to use once you decide what interactions you want is based on what you want. Whether you want breakups or not. Hope that helps

I hardly use the reading of the poem bc I just don't care for it. Does it suppose to mean they love the other? I thought it was just a interaction that sort of ment nothing lol
