Moving Day

Hey folks,

As part of an overall effort to consolidate my mess of communication channels and platforms for connecting with my mods and reporting things to me about them, I'm going to be hosting future updates on my website, here:

https://triplis.github.io/

I have no intention of deleting what is already here on MTS, but I want to redirect you to where you can find the latest information on my mods and download the latest versions of them.

The reason for this is one of time and headspace. As you might imagine, it's difficult to keep track of, and update, everything, when it's spread across Twitter, Youtube, MTS, the official Sims forums, etc. I want to be able to get updates to you more quickly and communicate with you more efficiently to reduce the probability of the experience of feeling ignored, or of an important mod feature going months without a fix.

In the past, I could get away with messy because I was more or less modding full-time, but I can't invest that kind of time anymore. Thanks for your understanding.

Please visit the website and bookmark it if you want to keep track of things.

And thanks for your interest in, and support for, what I do. It is in large part because of your continued interest that I feel it is important to reorganize, so that I can better manage my mods in the future.

November 7, 2017, Maxis Patch: Fixed!

This mod should now be working as before, with the November 7, 2017, Maxis patch.

New version is V2.

Enjoy!

Hey, Triplis here. Sometimes you make complex mods with a ton of features and then sometimes you make a Toddler Potty Gloat Interaction. This is... it's the second one. Toddler Potty Gloat interaction. I'm running out of words to describe it.

How Does it Work

Once your Toddler has max Potty skill, a new interaction will be available on the Potty called Potty Gloat. Upon using the interaction, your Toddler will do a little dance for a bit, in front of the Potty, demonstrating their superior motor function. At the end of it, they get a one hour moodlet, which varies somewhat depending on what Toddler trait they have.

Why. No, Seriously, Why?

Some ideas don't have a logical origin. I made this about a month ago as a little fun side project and then polished it up tonight to finally release it. At the time, I was imagining what might be a cute little extra interaction, something small in scope, for Toddlers and came up with this idea.

Compatibility/Installation

No compatibility issues should occur. To install the mod, download the file, unzip it, and then place both the TS4SCRIPT file and PACKAGE file inside of your mods folder.

Triplis--ToddlerPottyGloat.zip 13.0 KB 1,699 1st Jul 2017
Triplis--ToddlerPottyGloat--V2.zip 12.8 KB 1,031 8th Nov 2017
Basic Download and Install Instructions:
1. Download: Click the File tab to see the download link. Click the link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.
Read the upload description for installation instructions. If nothing else is specified, do the following:
No Extraction Required (Script Mods):
1. Cut and paste the .zip file(s) into your Mods folder
  • Windows XP: Documents and Settings\(Current User Account)\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\
  • Windows Vista/7/8/8.1: Users\(Current User Account)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\
Script mods need to be placed directly in \Mods or one level below that (e.g. \Mods\Scripts) – sub-folders nested any deeper won’t work.
Extraction Required (Everything Else):
1. Use WinRAR (Windows) to extract the .package file(s) from the .rar or .zip file(s).
2. Cut and paste the .package file(s) into your Mods folder
  • Windows XP: Documents and Settings\(Current User Account)\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\
  • Windows Vista/7/8/8.1: Users\(Current User Account)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\

Need more information?
  • Anyone can use both .rar and .zip files easily! On Windows, use WinRAR.
  • If you don't have a Mods folder, just make one.
  • Mod still not working? Make sure you have script mods enabled
