This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
Hello fellow Simmers! Inspired by the 'Maternity and Beyond' theme for August/September, I created eight different maternity-friendly outfits for EVERYDAY (not maternity) for your fashionable and trendy pregnant sims. The styles vary so there are plenty of options for all tastes.

Mesh?
All three meshes that you need are INCLUDED IN ZIP All three meshes are from the Boutique "Imaginary" blog created by Alice and Illary and are from their Maternity collection (part 1) and can be downloaded under the 1st, 2nd, and 5th photos for those who are curious. But, like I said they are all included in the upload.

Generic Information:
All 8 outfits can be found in the "Everyday" category and although focused on working for pregnant sims, they look great on other sizes as well! (thin/fit/fat) And if there was a question, these are made only for the Adult Female sim.

FAQ:
Please note that your pregnant sim will not automatically wear these. They are maternity-friendly which means the bump will show up on your pregnant Sim, but are still in the Everyday category. I suggest a mod that allows pregnant Sims to Wear normal clothing (I.E Everyday, Formal etc.) Otherwise, these will just work as normal Everyday clothes!

All photos were taken at varying times of pregnancy.

Final Thoughts...
I was so glad this was the theme for August/September! I had been wanting to do something like this for awhile and had not gotten around to it yet. I cannot wait to see what everyone else has made As always, all smilies/comments/thanks/in-game photos are welcome! Sim on!

Curious to what I am working on next? I keep a brief and updated segment on my profile page.

Additional Credits:
Design:
-The mint floral pattern on Look 4 and the patchwork pattern on Look 1 were from the design team at webtreats in the 'Cool Mint Green Tileable Grunge Patterns Pack'
-The kiwi swatch on Look Five comes from the pattern library but was originally created by Natalia De Frutos
-The teal/gold genie pattern on Look Six, the blue geometric pattern on Look Seven, the ornate pink/gold pattern on Look Two, and the decal overlay on Look Three all come from the Fat Strawberry (love that site!)

Technical: A HUGE thanks to Sims 2 Body Shop, Adobe Photoshop Elements 13, FRAPS (Screenshots), Boutique "Imaginary" for the updated meshes and textures, Mod the Sims, and the wonderful cable guys who fixed my internet!

I could never have done this without all of their hard work before me!

Do these work without a maternity mod? I would love to have different outfits for my pregnant sims, but if they require a mod, that usually interferes with the closet woo hoo interaction. In that case I won't download them no matter how much I want them. I admire what you have done and it's very tempting to download.

Hey @sandya thank you so much! They work perfectly fine in game w/o a mod but sadly if you want your pregnant sim to be able to wear them you would need a 'wear anything while pregnant' mod. They still work great for normal morphs, however, so you can still use them if you want!

Ah thanks! I am considering it @atymer but we'll have to see

My pregnant Sim did not wear the outfit I had her wearing before she did the pregnancy twirl. She reverted to the standard Maxi pregnant outfit. Also, none of the outfits showed up until I downloaded the mesh that you linked. I just want people to know that the link is included, but not in your download. It is a bit confusing the way it is worded. Also only one outfit has the correct picture. The rest have an outerwear picture, but when you click on them the correct outfit shows. I do like the outfits. They are very cute. I just wish they showed up on my pregnant Sim.

Hi @Mom50409 I am sorry you are having issues...first of all, thank you! I am glad you like them! However, these are not Maternity or a replacement of maxis ones. So your pregnant sim will not automatically wear them. There is an FAQ about this in the upload description! They are "Everyday" so I suggest a mod that allows your pregnant sim to wear normal clothes. And about the meshes, that is weird. I attached the meshes in a folder along with package files so maybe the folder got misplaced?
This is what the inside of the zipped folder should look like:

I will adjust the wording in the upload description though about the meshes to make it clearer however And lastly, I am not sure about the outerwear photos. I reinstalled them into my game and am still getting the normal photos. I will double check again but I would suggest taking them out of your download folder and putting them back in. I hope that helps! PM me if you are having further troubles.

I took them out. Now I am looking for a pregnancy clothes mod and then I will put them back in. Fingers crossed!
Well the only one that shows up normally is #3. The others I can get, but the picture in the catalog is still the outerwear. Weird! Now to see if they show up on my preggo Sims.

Final update: The clothes show up on my pregnant Sims. Yeah!! Thanks!
