This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
This is a new, custom Seasons garden plot cloned from EAxis "Pleasant Earth" Garden Plot. It produces a selection of six leafy green vegetables commonly grown in Britain (since that is where I am from).

There are sixteen separate objects. I have put them in a folder since you need ALL of them in your game for the garden plot to work properly. All objects have been compressorised. Like the pumpkin patch, this garden plot has the full set of EAxis interactions, the plants need to be watered, tended, sprayed and harvested. Harvested crops can be sold in a home business or used to stock the refrigerator for fresh food points. The crops cannot be juiced, unless or until someone makes a custom juicer.

The plant available to grow for a Sim with no gardening badges is Lettuce. With a bronze gardening badge Cabbages and Cauliflowers can also be grown. With a silver gardening badge Brussels Sprouts, Purple Sprouting Broccoli and Spinach also become available to grow.

Like the pumpkin patch, this plot has to be placed like a floor tile. I have also enabled hood view on the plants - as they are small very little is visible from the neighborhood camera, but at least your sims can look over the fence and admire next door's cabbages from their lots. Unlike the pumpkin patch, only two of the plants have visible fruiting parts, for the other four the harvestable state looks exactly the same as the adult state.

The Grow Your Greens garden plot is available in the Garden Center for $8 and will be found in the same section as the original garden plot .

My second upload is an OpenOffice text document. It is my checklist that I used in making the custom garden plots, and I have uploaded it in case anyone else would like to have a go at making one. I would love to see lots of custom garden plots out there, and you are very welcome to clone one of mine and use the checklist to help you make your own.

As usual, I have photoskinned the plant textures, because I suck at painting them. The attributions for the original pictures I took the textures from are under the spoiler.

Polygon Counts:
As there are a lot of meshes, I have put the polygon points under a spoiler.

Additional Credits:
My thanks of course to the makers of Simpe, UV Mapper, Paint.net and the other useful free tools for object creation. Also to the writers of the tutorials, without whom we couldn't learn how to use them. And to EAxis for creating the game and being generous about allowing us to share custom content.
