I'll say, it looks amazingly close considering the limitations of TS3's Build Mode. If I were half as good as replicating '80s builds as you are at replicating '40s ones, my Sim world would be a much nicer (albeit mildly tasteless and/or depressing) place.

Splendid build, the CASting is lovely, as is the presentation. I know of at least 2 cities that still have buildings like this, Philadelphia PA and Brooklyn, NY (both US).

Thank you to all, I hope it works without issues. I like LN apartments in Sims 3, but I know that a poorly put-together one can be a deathtrap for inactive residents, so I'm nervous as hell every time I share one. (crosses fingers)

The neighborhood around is Coasterboi's Angel City (can be downloaded from the Exchange), although it looks contemporary 21st century by default. I created a personal version of Angel City where I bulldozed each lot that looked more modern than 1950 (which means 90% of them), and replaced the lots with period-looking ones, like, "back to the Past". I mostly used my own old LA lots, mostly the rabbitholes from Roaring Heights (their bookstore rabbithole looks just like the Sunset Tower in Hollywood), and several of the decorative object high-rises CC by Aroundthesims 3.

What a beautiful job !!! I'm trying to place land in roaring heights, but the result is not as beautiful as in your photos! If one day you finish your neighborhood, you think you can share your version retro download?

I'm afraid I'm too chicken for that. To release a world file, even if it's only a save file of an already existing other world, is a huge responsibility, and many things can go wrong in it. And I have zero experience with CAW. On the other hand, I don't think it's a huge work to rearrange an already existing world map in one's game, many Sims 3 players play this way. If you don't like your results with Roaring Heights, maybe you would fancy to give a try to another map.
