Just wanted to say thank you! I'd been using just a plain ol' no auto to stop it happening, but I hate doing away with gameplay features altogether like that if it can be helped... so thank you for making the whole thing more logical!

Is this working well post-1.47 update?

I'd love to see the little buggers make no mess at all, any chance you could make a "No mess at all" mod

Sorry, I don't have time to maintain multiple variants, but I can recommend SCAM by scumbumbo, which you can use to make any interaction in the game non-autonomous:

Thank you so fucking much for this.
These little shits kept squirting paint on the floor even after I keep grounding them and giving them timeouts.

Doesn't seem to be doing much after the 1.52 patch. The very first thing child sims do after aging up from toddler is make a mess, unless I give them something else to do first.

Question what kids do you have in your game, mine was just leaving it there, for someone else to clean up ,:-/

I love how intricate this mod and cleaning messes system is, I hope that it still works?

This has been a (sim) life saver! Kid was making non stop messes all over the house, gah! Not anymore, thanks!

Any chance this could be broken up into toddler and children editions? I'd like to use it with BosseladyTV's No Child Mess (Only Toddlers) mod but I'm afraid they'll conflict

You're right, they will conflict. Toddlers and Children use the same interaction, so unfortunately it's not so simple to just break it up like that. I could make my own version of Toddlers only to replace BosseladTV's, but I don't have a lot of time for modding right now and don't want to have to maintain multiple versions of the mod. Maybe in the future, but I don't want to make any promises.

In the meantime, if you want, you could have BosseladyTV's mod override mine and you will still get my bug fixes and the changes to the cooldown duration and cleaning autonomy, however you will lose the make a mess autonomy so Angelic toddlers with still make messes and it won't block any toddler from making messes based on their mood.

Alternatively, you could teach your kids some responsibility to clean up after themselves.
