Revamped Superman comic archive website
Date Posted: 7th Nov 2013 at 4:26 AM
So, for those who've visited the webpage before (or who're new to it and are hearing about it for the first time), I've changed the layout and added more pictures & links to places. Take a look for yourself.
It also contains a small collection of Sims-related Superman material from other fans. Leave a comment if you like the website and have recommendations on other stuff to add.
In Search of Sims 1 Music Information
Date Posted: 6th May 2013 at 6:31 AM
I run this webpage with Sims 1 music information regarding the title names of game files
. I've filled out many of the titles, but I'm missing some. Plus, I'd like to know, if you have either Sims Online, or Sims Living Large, whether there's music that should be listed on the webpage.
If you have information about the missing files and their names, or you have either of those expansion packs and would like to contribute information about those musical pieces, please e-mail me or send a PM to discuss the matter. Or likewise, leave a comment, whichever suits your fancy, lol.
I also have a thread opened here
in this Classical music forum, in case you'd like to listen to some orchestral music from expensive restaurant setting in the Hot Date expansion pack.
NCI Superman Comic releases final issue.
Date Posted: 20th Apr 2013 at 4:28 AM
Hi everyone. For those of you who've been following the comic strip
closely, I'm almost done writing up the panels and editing them for release. It may be delayed a day, but so far everything is on schedule. I'm just tired from a long week's worth of work.
Also, just wanted to make sure all the text and pictures are released correctly. After all, this is the FINAL issue of the strip. I'd like everything to be perfect for its final release. I'm very pleased with the final result of the story. I'm hoping you'll all be pleased with it too.
So stay tuned, everything is still in motion...up until the end of tomorrow April 20/early April 21.
EDIT: Never mind, the issue has been published. Thank you for all who've visited and followed the comic since its beginning:
NCI's Superman Comic reaches 10,000 views!!!
Date Posted: 20th Feb 2013 at 7:06 AM
This not-so-historical-to-everyone event occurred tonight on February 20, 2013, just before 1:00am EST. Below are a few words from the one and only Superman!
Creating a Sims 2 TV panel quiz show/game show
Date Posted: 1st Feb 2013 at 5:24 AM
This promotional ad describes exactly what is being made by NCI this time, for the Sims Broadcasting Network:
This will be placed in the Sims Creativity section once done. Of course, the comic short takes precedence over this show for the moment. The target is for a 24-minute pilot episode. Probably gonna end up as one sole episode, but hopefully it'll be interesting enough for folks to watch, as SimNation's 'oldest existing' televised quiz show/game show. Pretty much inspired off the real 1953 TV quiz programmed of the same name.
Superman comic series reaches 5,000+ views!
Date Posted: 16th Oct 2012 at 1:30 AM
Yay! More than 5,000 views for the comic series! Thank you everyone for viewing the comic, for those of you here on ModTheSims and abroad.
The next issue will be a challenge that I'm hoping gets done by the 20th of October.
Superman Comic Series Continued...
Date Posted: 20th Aug 2012 at 3:42 AM
Just a reminder to some folks who follow the comic shorts on here, the comic book is back in session, and planning to take another hiatus...after Issue 20 is released, lol. That'll be in over two months from now, so no rush for that.
Anyway, enjoy Issue 11. The next issue is being written as we speak...yes the screenshots are already done, and then Issue 13 would continue the story. Enjoy, and if you like the series, please show your thanks via the Thanks button if the story thread.
New ANIMATED Avatar

Yep, updated my avatar to sport out a small moving scene of Superman. Was tough to get it under 64kb, but I made it. Yay!
Slight Update on Monopoly Game Town
Date Posted: 15th Jun 2012 at 3:35 AM
So I was surprised to find out that there was some leftover user files from the N046 neighborhood files. It's been updated today to eliminate that user file.
For those who already have the neighborhood, no panic necessary, just scan the neighborhood with HoodChecker, and the data file should be gone. Must have been ol' Pennybags lurking around before leaving the 'hood, lol. Erm...yeah I'll probably get stoned from some of you folks, lol.
EDIT: Okay, so it stays there forever...luckily, there's no one with relations to the sim user file.
So...for you new folks out there, enjoy this yet-to-be loaded neighborhood. That's right, not even the Grim Reaper, Pollination Technician, or the other NPCs have been made yet. If anyone has issues with the upload, please post under this journal entry.
And thanks Mootilda for catching that data leftover. All hail
Big residential lot...prepare for your computers to explode, LOL!!!
Date Posted: 13th May 2012 at 7:38 AM
Okay, that hotel tower was a flop...or just a record for a great lot that everyone was speechless, lol.
So anyway, here's an update to something that hasn't be attempted in years on this website. Introducing a work-in-progress. An American National Landmark, recognizable by many folks...too bad the lot's size can't get bigger (for the landscaping). Introducing and update to...The (Off-)White House! Pictures are at the end of this entry.
The furnishing...oy, that's a pain in the head. So much to decorate. Well, hopefully I'll get this done by the end of June 2012, or earlier. Anyway, enjoy the exterior look. I love the balustrades on the roof, a discovery that changed the way I built previous White Houses for my game. ^_^
P.S. I'm not much of a landscaper, so don't expect to see this look any better. Maybe even expect less trees. I hate tress and gardens, namely because of all the computer resources this will consume, lol. AKA, prepare for your computer to explode!
