Setting Targets, Then Ticking Them Off!

For a while now, I've been sitting at my laptop and pondering. Pondering what I should do - pester dad? Or remain an inactive creator? Well, at this point, it would be appropriate to give some background insight into my questions; the disk drive on my laptop has ceased to work for a few months now, and in that time I've been rather silent about it. My dad is aware of this situation, and I've been thinking it may be rude to pester him into either getting an external, or getting it repaired (what with me only playing games, and this costing money). However, since the arrival of Christmas, I was asked what I would like (as I should imagine many people are), and one of the first things to pop into my mind would be to get a replacement disk drive. Dad agreed, and although it has since passed Christmas, it's arrival should now be imminant.
All this bound together into one neatly wrapped parcel of nuggetness, means that I should be back and playing The Sims rather soon. And with that, the potential for me to leave my status as a sleeping creator and to hopefully become active once more.
And so onto the actual mission statement - what I would really like to achieve in the rapidly aproaching year of 2012; the year in which, if the idiots get their way, everyone is supposed going to die because some lazy git decided to go no further than 2012 on his precious calendar. So without further a-do (and there has been plenty of a-do leading up to this), let me present to you what I would like to get done in 2012; my mission statement if you like, Jeeves:
-Having reached 100,000 downloads in 2011, a great way to send off 2012 would be with, well, y'now, 200,000 downloads.
-And while that download count was building, so was my stash of MTS picks - gaining my first 3 in 2011, I wonder if I can double that in 2012?
-To top it all off, I recently surpassed 6,000 thanks. However, 10,000 would be better, as I'm sure you'll agree (not that the addition of a sticker would be of any influence...).
Well I do hope you enjoyed reading my little mission statement, and I of course hope the facts of my life (past, present, and up and coming) weren't too hard to pick out (what with my life being reminiscent of a carcass; mainly empty with a few squirrrely bits ready to be pulled off and digested), but most important of all I hope to share with you my journey that will be 2012 (which may or may not be inturrupted by that little fella who ended his calendar prematurely), the year in which I will aim high (having short arms and all) and probably fail in fairly epic fashion. A fitting sequel to a turbulent 2011...
So then, I hope you enjoyed reading.

Hello there. As some of you may know, I have a series of lots called 'CrumbleTop Lane' - however, they are all BaseGame... and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a Night Life series - similar to CrumbleTop, but with Night life Garages and possibly other stuff.
I hope to get some of your opinions, as I would hate to build some, upload them, only to find no one was interested.

Omg... I effing finally got a pick! Seems like forever since I started uploading; infact, it nearly has been forever, lol. Seems like, anyways.
Well, thank you everyone who has downloaded over the... year or so; who has thanked, or who has commented. It means a lot, trust me! If you could just take a little time to reply, if you want, it would make a happy day for me, even more happy. Thank you.
A few of my creator stats:
38 uploads
66,030 downloads
4,021 thanks
13 (or 14 if you include the invisible welder guy) achievements
A pick!!
Thanks everyone!
