Lights disappear in game

Hi,
When I buy a light and go back to live mode the light disappears. Even with the original maxis ones. Does anyone know what I can do about this?

Does it disappear at all? I mean, does it disappear also the light produced by the lamp?
Does it happen with all lamps (including floor and table lamps) or just with wall lamps?
