Pls help me with installing Sims2,Uni,NL

Here's the problem,I just purchased Uni n NL,n installed them(can't install them actually),when I bought them,the shopkepper gave me a piece of paper inside each EP,its instructions to install them,but there's problem here...

Uni;
-I had installed the Daemon from Uni(as told by the paper),n extracted MiniImage to my PC,n the next step written there is "double-click Daemon icon from your desktop bla...bla...bla...",the Daemon didn't work,I had double-clicked it many times,thus I can't proceed,oh yeah,I've installed Uni at that time but can't play it

NL;
-The paper said that I need to extract cd1.part1.exe so I do as told,n there's a message box saying I need cd1.part2.exe which I had in NL cd 2,then after moving those two in my PC,I need to mount them by right-clicking them,which never happened,since everytime I open the folder my PC restarted on its own

I know my English sucks,n you might not understand a single thing here,so I'll make it easier for you guys,how about giving me a complete 'How to Install Sims2,Uni,n NL Guide'?

I would be grateful If you guys help me out,oh,about Sims2,I can install it but can't play it,maybe there's something about those EP?

Hrm. Well, as far as I know, all versions of the game come with an installer that will autorun from the cd or can be easily installed by running a single executable file from the cd. It will then extract the data from the first cd, request the second, etc... It shouldn't require any sort of acrobatics or external programs to install.

To be quite honest, it doesn't sound like you were sold a real version of the game.

I'd take them back and get a refund, and purchase them from somewhere else.

Everyone's right. I assume that the Daemon you're talking about is Daemon Tools, which is a virtual CD program and you sure as hell wouldn't need it if you had a legit version of the game.
