New colour scheme

Hi All,

While out mowing the lawn the other day, our intrepid staff realised something: MTS2 has no green on it. Now, we all know that green is the colour of a freshly cut lawn, smelling slightly of roses, and that cows eat it and stuff, but did you also know you can now have MTS2 in green too?

Therefore, we present, for your pleasure (and ours, but let's not go there...) the new Mint Tea theme. It's available from the style chooser at the bottom of every page, and also through User Tools -> Edit Options.

The front page buttons will also be changed, but for those of you who don't link blue, grey, pink or, erm more blue... this is for you! More style colours might be implemented, if you ask nicely and provide pics and/or HTML colour codes. :D

Enjoy the greenness and stuff. Just in time for St Patricks day. (Okay, maybe next years...)

I would like purple too, not the bright glaring color some websiters think is purple, but a nice eggplanty type dark back with possibly a nice nonglare kakaki type. I'll see if I can muck up a color card and some numbers for you.

Magenta. Plaid, Purple, Gold, Silver, Yellow, Orange, Brown, Cornflower, Chartruce, Indigo, Burnt Sienna, Olive Green, Forrest Green, Hot pink, Fire Engine Red. and any and all colors that you will be nagged for

Nice colour, Delphy, it's a lot better than the black theme you tried out. Personally I like black, but it was a little difficult to read the black writing on the black background. But mint.... lovely. I'm with Angel, can I have purple to match my lucky underpants, please?

actually, cerulean is a sky blue sort of color, chartreuce is a yellow-green sort of color, and puce is a purpleish sort of color. Not a red in the bunch.

The minty fresh green is ... green. Nice enough for those who actually like green. At least all your shades of green look nice together. Me, I think I'll stick with blue. Until I don't.

But I do have one thing to say..... what IS it with you people and purple? When I look around in real life I don't see many purple clothes, hardly any purple furniture and furnishings and never, ever purple houses. Its like Sims 2 is the outlet for all the secret purple lovers of the planet and you got together to form some kinda club like the Freemasons except its the People of the Putrid Purple Perogative!

Hey thanks for the green. It's not one of my favourite colours but I must admit it's a refreshing change after the blue I was using. I really like it. Hunter green is also a nice colour, darker but also soothing you could give that a try or maybe some golden browns the shade of leaves in autumn. Just an idea

Personally I would love to see a cc99cc background with 660066 toolbars/title bars and ff99ff as a subcolor.

(I do webdesign too and if you save one of the palette's to your computer you can zoom way way way in with Windows picture viewer or any photo editor. More awesome tools are availible for webmasters at www.reallybig.com)

Yeah I agree, but maybe a lighter purple than eggplant. Like maybe a violet one, or a pastel purple one.
