Hi :)

I have been trying t figure out how to get rid of the custom content marker from Maxis clothing. Ever since I installed Pets all of the clothing I recategorized from Adult to YA + Adult is showing up as custom content & because I recategorized a lot of stuff I am finding it extremely annoying to have to scroll through tons of Maxis colthing just to find the real custom content.

Basically I have a bunch of packages that contain the Property Sets of the various clothing & I changed the age from 0x00000008 to 0x00000048. This should not be considered as custom content! But, it is being treated as such.

I have tried everything I can think of to fix this but I am out of ideas.

Does anyone know of a way to fix this? Anyone know what it was they changed to make this happen in the first place? These are packages that I've had for over a year - never shwed up as custom before & now they do.

Any help greatly appreciated as this is driving me nuts!

I believe that there is a button to turn off the cc star, but that disables the star on ALL cc, including the clothing made by simmers. Maybe there is a game hack to disable this portion of the game? I'm not sure, though...

Thanks - I understand how to turn off custom content :) What I really wanted to know was how to modify the files so they worked like they used to before pets but apparently EA has hard coded this into the game now, so anything you put in the download folder gets a custom content marker even if it is an EA object or clothing or whatever.

I have no idea why they would do this, but it's very frustrating, to say the least.
