So, I was waiting for my game to load up, and after about 14 minutes it was almost done with the green bar filling up at the top, and then it crashed! I can't think of what could have caused this, I NEVER used boolprop on this computer, not even once. I have 4.31 GB of downloads, and my computer has a 1.8 GHz Processor (AMD Sempron), and 382 MB of RAM. And I have University and OFB.
Could it have been too much for my computer? Or could it be something I downloaded? Or something more complicated?
I downloaded some colored lights (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=91821), and just put them in my downloads folder because I have the scriptorium. And also a bunch of extra hacks but I ran the game after I downloaded the hacks (but not after I downloaded the lights) and it was fine.

Remove the lights from the Downloads folder and see if it does it again. If it does, then its not the lights. If it doesn't, try with the lights again to see if it crashes. Then you'll definitely know it is the lights. :)

You don't have enough ram. Minimum of 512mb is the bare minimum that you need. 1 gig of ram is better. The processor could be better as well. A minimum of 2.4 should handle it fine. But first try removing the coloured light you downloaded first. I don't know how you would do it if you used the scriptorium to install them. I have never used it. Also what graphics card do you have?

It's a Nvida GeForce 6100 graphics card.
Being I have so many downloads, I'm going to just take them all out and keep only what I use the most right now. It won't affect sims and houses that already had custom content on them, will it?

Yes it will, if the content is removed then you'll get flashing blue if it was recolors or Maxis items if the meshes were removed as well.
But what you want to do is backup your entire My Docs/EA Games/Sims2 folder. Then go through all the steps in this faq: http://www.modthesims2.com/article.php?t=139718

It might affect the houses when you re-enter them. I have heard of people not been able to enter houses that have custom content that was deleted.
Maybe it's something you have downloaded that is causing the crash. Try this method first before you take out the downloads you don't want: http://www.modthesims2.com/article.php?t=139702
Good luck!
Wanted to add: Check your disc for scratches.
In my sims1 game I had a scratch on the disc, and every time I entered one of the larger lots(I think it was lot 10 in the first neighborhood) it would crash. So maybe when you start up and it gets to that same point every time it crashes it could be a scratch and not something you downloaded. But always check everything that has been said first.

Oh my freaking gosh, I give up!! I tried taking out the lights and something that requiered the Holiday pack. Still crashed. Took out all downloads from the 10th and the 9th. Crashed again. Took out the group.cach file. froze.
Tried to make the downloads folder smaller (*tsk* only like, 100 MB. I'm pathetic.) still crashed!!
I'm going to just move all my downloads to a temporary location (incase there's something I need to retrieve) and redownload only what I use the most, and what has already been used.
Before I did all that I temporarily removed EVRYTHING from the downloads folder, and it was fine.

If your game didn't crash with the Downloads folder then that's the source of the problem. You don't have to remove the existing folder and redownload the custom content again. Try sorting using this faq: http://www.modthesims2.com/article.php?t=139702

I also linked to that thread as well for MissSimGameFan in my previous thread.
Maybe in that downloads file that you say had only 100mb in it and it still crashed, is where the problem file exists. Try taking out temporarily the 100mb of downloads, then add one by one, each time you add one try to load the game. This way the last file you add you will know which is the one that caused the problem.
Out of curiosity how many neighborhoods do you have?

Thanks everyone, I'll try your suggestions.

10 counting the Maxis 'hoods, Custom 'hoods, and subhoods. Ouch.
*Edit*
I found the file causing my game to crash. It's this dinning chair: http://www.vitasims2.com/vitasims%20christmas%20calendar/Advent_Calendar08.htm

Good job finding the problem file :) So, your game is running fine now? No crashes?

Yup, it's running just fine now. I'm slowly putting all my downloads back into my game, but this time I'm organizing everything.
