OFB...Tattooist Career ??

is it possible to have tattooing as a career on the sims 2 ? i can build a tattoo studio for sure but i got no idea how id get into having it as a career. anyone have any ideas ? im gonna read up on making objects aswell so i can try make some ink bottles, tattoo machines, clip cords, footswitch, latex gloves etc etc. any help will be apriciated. peace :jest:

There's lots of tutorials about making new careers in the create section of the site. Go there and I'm sure you'll find all the info you need.

yeah i did look there but i still aint sure if its possible.. because a tattoo artist cant tattoo without at least ink and a tattoo machine... or even a needle... none of wich are in the game lol

I think there is a difference between playing your sim as a tattooist, or having it as a career like any other. Notice that with any of the other careers, you don't really "play" their job, you just send them to work and they come back, you don't play them in between. So, making a career where your sim goes to work as a tattooist should work like any other career, since you won't need any new objects for that. But creating a mod that actually lets your sim tattoo other sims is a whole different thing.

oh yeah of course i forgot you dont see them at work lol. ok i want to tattoo another sim. i have set up a basic studio with chairs, lamps, stainless steel counters etc. just need ink, needles, power supply, footswitch, tattoo machine etc etc haha i think its impossible
