does anyone know what type of programs i need to make my own texture of new food platers? making food seems so interesting, as so does making houses, but im waiting till seasons to make new houses

Well you need a meshing program, SimPE, and paint program... At least I think so.

If you're only changing the texture, then you need a paint program and SimPE. If you're planning on actually giving the plates a new shape (mesh), then you also need a meshing program.
