I have been looking for help for this, but can't seem to find it so I thought I would ask since I see that there is so much good advice from you all. I was wondering what I could do to about one of my skirt meshes. The texture looks good on the skirt, but when my sim sits down on the ground or lay back I can see under her skirt and it is not the same color as the texture I would apply, it is actually the color of her skin. The front display of the skirt looks fine, it is just when she sit or lay back when I can see it and it is just annoying me. I know it is something that I am not doing right, could it be The UV Mapping or something else. Any advice is apprecaited.:)

Look at the uvmap, and then at your texture *and* your alpha. Perhaps you adjusted your texture to match the uv but not the alpha with it? Alpha white will show your clothing texture, black will show skin.

I usually use a graphics program with layers. I put my uvmap on one, and then play with transparency so that I can see it AND my texture or alpha at the same time and make appropriate adjustments.
