noob question: custom facial hair

okay, so i wanted to make some custom facial hair. so i modified the alpha bmp of the flat beard to create long sideburns and a soul patch. not a problem. however, i wanted to do this with the default red hair color, but the only option i had to modify facial hair was black. is there an easy way to do the other colors?

Yeah, I don't know why Maxis set it up that way, but it's a pain.

There's not an easy way to do the other colours, but there is a way. It involves making just a basic file containing the black version you would like to recolour in red, opening that file in SimPE to get the name, searching for that name to find the other textures, and exporting them so you can use them to recolour from.

It's gonna be basically the same thing. Requires a bit of prior SimPE knowledge and comfortability but... if you have any questions, let me know. :)
