Changing the amount of days in a life stage globally

Is there a way, perhaps through a download package or tweaking the core files, to change the amount of days in a life stage? For example, the baby life stage lasts 6 days instead of 3 or the adult life stage lasts 45 days instead of 30. The Sims continue to age and die, but just have more days in each life stage.
