I'm not sure where to post this question. I have been watching the number of available GUIDs fall steadily as I create more stuff and use the Get GUID while making new things. What happens when the number is zero? How do I get more GUIDs?

the function "Add GUID Block" gets available, simply click on it and you'll have a lot of new guids

Thanks so much...I was starting to get nervous with that number falling daily

I also suggest to re-use the GUIDs that have been registered by mistake, or assigned to abandoned projects. This can be done using the "Existing objects" tab in the Get GUID window.
Or you can do a periodic maintenance by accessing the GUID repository web page (http://sims.ambertation.de/en/wp-login.php) and deleting the unused registered GUIDs.

If you go to here http://sims.ambertation.de/en/guiddb/ you can edit your existing GUID's and add new blocks, there are zillions of the things available for Sims 2 with its big 16bit GUID string so even with lots of people registering and only using a handful out of their designated first blocks it doesn't matter too much, there should be loads - not like Sims 1 where they got recycled over and over! What I do when I've fudged something is I go and edit the GUID's with the notation 'empty' or something similar and then I know its one I've used as a failed object and I can go back and recycle it later when the 'dead' object is well and truly gone from my game and edit the entry at the SimPE webpage to reflect the new thing that I've made using it.
