stop sims2 launcher

this new launcher for bon voyage is a real pain in my neck. i am so used to walking away and letting the game load that i forget about this stupid thing and come back when the game should be loaded and it hasn't even started. is there a way to get rid of this thing? i have reached the end of my ropes with this.

The shortcuts points to Sims2Launcher.exe in the TSBin folder wherever you installed the game to (the default is C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Bon Voyage) just change it so it links to the file Sims2EP6.exe instead.

The launcher won't make your game slower to load. The problem could very well be that your pc just is a slower one. What are your specs and how many downloads do you have?

Angel, I think they meant that they forget to click whatever button on the launcher, so it's sitting waiting for them when they get back.
