Does anyone know of a program that will allow you to edit or add to a .sims2pack file? I know The clean pack installer will let you remove stuff from a .sims2pack file and you can create one with SimPE, but what do you do if you want to add stuff to one that already exists?

You don't really have any options here unless you know how to do it (and have developed tools for it).

The only way would be to make sure that a particular object is used by a Lot or Sim and package it with that object, I would guess.

I couldn't find anything to use. The problem I was having was that I created a lot using custom stairs that have a custom animation package. When the lot is packaged it includes the stairs, but not the animation that goes with them. I was just hoping that there was a way to add it so the animation file didn't have to be installed separately.
