SimPe Object Creation Help Needed

:cry: i cant get SimPe working. :cry:

When i get to the object creation tool thingy i can get up to loading an object but im not asked about the textures and whether i want to save it so its compatible with paint and photoshop and stuff. I can load the object and it comes up with a resource tree but i cant do anything to the resource tree

i think its because i originally had sims2 deluxe - which had nightlife and the orginal
i currently have at the moment sims2 open for buisness and freetime
i also have redownloaded it a few times to see if there was a update to fix it

Can you tell me which SimPE version you have? In more recent versions, the version number will show on the splash screen, and you can also find it in Help/About. It is obviously important to ensure you have a version that is compatible with FreeTime.

Addressing your particular problem, that is correct behaviour for SimPE. You get a clone or a recolour package, and it will have resources showing in the resource tree. There are many tutorials on this site that will help you find out how to deal with these resources in order to get them in and out of Paint etc :)

i have 0.68.1.31399 of sim pe but how do u tell if it is compatable thanks in advance..(noob typing here)

No I am sorry you need to work through some tutorials. Your problem has arisen it seems due to you not having the right level of information for your task.

If you have problems following the tutorial, you can ask for clarification in the tutorial thread. Then, if it turns out that the problem is due to SimPE is failing in some way, one of the experienced helpers can spot that and hopefully report it to the developers :)

i figurred out..it was noobish thing..it was the views and toolbars i just reseted them
