Basically, I have this family on Sims, it started off as a husband and wife, but then I changed the man to a vampire and he got the wife pregnant. I changed her to a vampire during the pregnancy, and now whenever she gives birth (I've tried a few times), the game crashes.
I know it's got nothing to do with the fact that she's a vampire, because I had a human girl give birth to a vampire's baby and that crashed as well.
Any suggestions on how to stop it crashing?

Thanks,

In order to better solve your problem, please go through the following as listed below:

General - Do the Game Problem FAQ
You appear to have not gone through our main Game Help:Game Problem FAQ. Please go through and do the steps on this FAQ, including any others that it links to (for example the Game Help:Game Problem-Problem Custom Content FAQ).

Usually, in the vast majority of cases, actually going through and doing the steps (doing, not just reading) fixes issues - sometimes you may be asked to remove custom content, or to patch - please rest assured that all of our FAQs have been tested by our staff and volunteers and we wouldn't suggest you do something unless it's been known to fix particular issues.

Erm, well, vampires can breed fine in TS2 - a bit weird, but their babies come out normal, non-vampy babies - so I think it's more likely something else as vampires should be able to have babies no problem.

Go ahead and go through the above FAQ to rule out something else causing it as more than likely it's just a coincidence that it's happening with vampires - or is otherwise related to custom content or something along those lines.

On occasion you might be asked to do a long FAQ - please make sure you do all the steps and don't just skip over them. You'll often find that these long FAQs have all the details you need. If nothing in the above FAQs fixes your problem you may post again detailing exactly which you have done and which steps failed.

Thank you,
I have managed to get to there step where you renamed the "The Sims 2" file, but it won't let me.
A message flashes up saying...
"Cannot renamed The Sims 2:Acess is denied
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in
use"

Wait never mind!
Sorry, I'm majorly thick, it was copying my neighbourhood files to a memory stick!
No worries!
