Is it possible to make a statue (decorative) from a posed sim? I would like to have posed sim statues for decorative purposes but I'm not completely sure how I would attempt this.

I have simpe and milkshape.

Thanks for any help in advance.

In extremely basic terms:

1) Export a sim body GMDC. See here, up to part 5, skipping part 3 (steps 7-9) and all of part 4. http://www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?title=Tutorials:Unimesh_1_-_New_Mesh_Basics#Part_5_-_Extract_the_3D_Model

2) Extract a GMDC for a sim's face by opening any saved sim file and extracting the non-LOD15 version of their GMDC.

3) Extract a hair mesh by basically following the same steps for the body.

2) Import the GMDCs into Milkshape using Unimesh (linked on that link above).

3) Pose using this method: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=288985

4) Export the posed mesh in OBJ format.

5) Edit the OBJ to make it into a workable statue. This will likely involve a lot of re-UV mapping or at least adjusting what mapping is there to fit more stuff together in one texture (since body skin, face skin, eyes, clothes, and each layer of hair textures will be separate by default).
