Pets Patch With Seasons?

Ok, when my computer crashed I lost everything and had to rinstall the sims 2 ans all eps. This was pre seasons so before the crash I downloaded the pets patch from the sims 2 site. I now have Seasons and what I need to know is, will seasons have the pets patch build into it so all the glitches will be fixed or do I need to redownload the pets patch.

Download and install all patches for all games that you have on your machine. Here is why:

Apparently even the patches that claim they patch a previous EP, in reality, don't ! And no EP has ever claimed to patch a prior EP. Period.
As far as the Pets patch goes, since it borked the toddler/npc hair, you can probably avoid it until they issue a new patch that fixes the old one. If you have some of the game problems listed with the patch ( or need the bodyshop fix), I would install it. Frankly, I installed it and only have the hair problem..which is easily fixed using the mirror. I think the benefits outweigh the negatives.
