The Mc Fee’s Family Curse
This is Margaret Mc Fee; she is 20 years old and has lived here on Owens Island all her life. The Mc Fee’s were one of the original families who settled this little town 384 years ago. They prospered here and became very wealthy; however, some people around the village got jealous of that prosperity and began rumors about the Mc Fees being evil and witches. These rumors spread like wild fire and since then her family has suffered persecution and victimization at the hands of the town’s people. Margaret didn’t have a great time growing up she was scorned and feared by the other Children.
Margaret couldn’t remember her father; he died when she was very young from a freak lightning strike on a clear blue day. The town went wild with gossip. They said it was Sarah Mc Fee, Margaret’s mother who conjured up the lightning bolt and she had killed him, Sarah later told Margaret that it was the family curse.
“When a Mc Fee falls in love they would only have but a few years of happiness with that person then everything will go horribly wrong”. Sobbed Sarah
“Don’t fall in love Margaret, protect yourself” Sarah told her daughter before she died.
Margaret was then alone with no family, however, Margaret is a survivor and she goes on.
This is the Mc Fee family home; it has been in the family for 384 years. Even though it holds some painful memories, Margaret has not got the hart to sell it for it holds a lot of good memories too.
Margaret awoke like she would any other day, however, this morning had a scenes of excitement, there was a quite in the air like that before a storm. She went about her normal daily routine, had breakfast, got dressed, cleaned up the kitchen and got the morning paper. She then sat out the back near the garden and read the paper while sipping a coffee.
The doorbell rand and it was Toni Rayne, Margaret’s best friend, well her only friend, she was very excited about something.
“What’s got you so wound up?” Margaret asked with a little smile.
“Someone new has moved to Owens Island he is a real honey, his name is Trey Maxwell, he just moved here from Sim City, His house is on Oak Avenue, you know the big grey brick house, he’s single and he looks about 30, isn’t that great news.”
“I guess”, Margaret said a bit confused.
“Well, do you want to go downtown and watch him move in” Toni asked with a big smile, “There’s nothing much else that interesting to do in this town”.
“Ok, I’ll drive”. Margaret said trying not to laugh at the absurdity of their behavior.
Margaret and Toni drove down Oak Avenue in search of Trey but they couldn’t see if he was there. Toni insisted on driving all over town to catch a glimpse of this mysterious man, Margaret was just there for a laugh.
Toni spotted him at the Owens Island café; they got out of the car and went in for a closer look. Everyone was fascinated by the new arrival to this quaint little town, yet, when they spotted Margaret they glared at her and started whispering amongst themselves but Margaret was used to this and just ignored it.
She asked Toni to point out the guy she seemed fanatical about and when she spied him there talking to non-other than Brooke Sharpe the girl that made Margaret’s school day’s so traumatizing. Nevertheless, in her eyes Trey was tremendously gorgeous and she was instantly attracted to him.
That night, all Margaret could think about was Trey Maxwell but also, more disturbing, her mother’s voice was in the back of her mind repeating the same words over and over again:
“When a Mc Fee fell in love they would only have but a few years of happiness with that person then everything will go horribly wrong”,
“Don’t fall in love Margaret, protect yourself”.
After a rough night of sleep Margaret decided to do a bit of shopping which almost always made her feel better. She went to Chic Boutique and bought a few new outfits she has been wanting to get but this time it didn’t improve her mood so she went home.
She visited the statue of the first Mc Fee born to Owens Island; a great beauty who was desired by all the men yet hated by all the women of the village. Her name was Elizabeth Mc Fee.
Standing near this statue and remembering her mother telling her the story of Elizabeth made her feel stronger, because although Beth as she liked to be called was scorned by all the women she held her head high, she was even known to be a bit of a flirt until she meet the man of her dreams, Marcus Finnegan, a dashing handsome man that loved Beth like no other man had loved a woman in times past.
That was until his boat sank on his way home to his beloved after only 4 years with Beth. She was devastated, heartbroken. Still, she never let the rumor’s flying around town that she made the boat sink get her down. She continued to hold her head up high and raise her two daughter’s right, to be strong women of character and kind of heart.
Margaret has a lot of respect for Beth Mc Fee and she draws strength from Beth’s courage and confidence.
From that moment Margaret had made a decision, she was going to ask Trey over for dinner and just get to know him, maybe become friends with him, who knows, but she is not going to let superstition get in the way of her happiness.
So Margaret got on the phone and called Trey to invite him for dinner and Margaret couldn’t believe it, he said yes.
“So I’ll see you about 8 o’clock tonight then” Margaret said with a little anxiety in her voice.
“Yeah I’m looking forward to it”. His voice was heavenly to Margaret’s ears before she forced herself back into reality.
“Ok then bye” she said rather hastily before she dropped the phone in a rush to hang it up, her hands were trembling with anticipation and trepidation.
She took a few beep breaths and called Toni to tell her the great news about Trey; Toni was so excited she couldn’t believe it.
“WOW, this is such good news, so are you just going to extend the hand of friendship” Toni said in a joking voice before bursting into laughter.
“Yes I am, if anything else’s develops so be it but I am not going to force anything to happen” Margaret said in a matter of fact tone, although here mind was racing with possibilities and most of them consisted of Margaret in Trey’s arms by the end of the evening in an intimate cuddle, kissing his sweet lips.
“Ok, good luck you better improve your cooking though or it could be a short friendship” Toni and Margaret both laughed heartily before hanging up. Margaret hurried to the study to choose a cook book.
Margaret kept thinking that this might be a night to remember.

Margaret decided to cook an old family recipe, marinated red salmon in a creamy lemon and dill sauce. It’s delicious and perfect to make for tonight.
There was a knock at the door and Margaret’s heart leapt into her throat, she just stood there until a voice in her head screamed, answer the door.
She fussed around with her dress and checked her hair, Margaret was breathing quite heavily. She walked quickly to the door took a deep breath, smiled and opened the door.
Trey was standing there smiling, Margaret smiled back.
“Welcome, come on in, make yourself at home” Margaret said.
Trey walked in looking around he seemed to be in awe of the great room,
“Have you always lived here, in this house?” Trey said with genuine interest.
“Yes my family built this house back in 1620 when this town was founded” replied Margaret with a little pride.
Trey’s face was that of shock, “The house looks amazing for its age”, Trey said in awe.
Margaret showed him to the dinner table. “Take a seat and I’ll serve,” Margaret said trying to keep her voice steady and even, attempting to hide her nerves.
They sat down and Trey replied “This looks lovely; I hope you didn’t go to too much trouble”.
“No not at all I just hope you enjoy it, so tell me about yourself, you know you’re the most interesting thing that’s happened in this town for many years” Margaret said with a joking tone and a smile.
“Well, I was born and bread in Sim City, I am an only child, my father was a police man, and my mother owned a restaurant that was very popular called Heavenly Delights, I am a bit like my mother, I am into business, I’m currently in the market to buy a community lot and start my own electronic store. My father died when I was 16 and I have been caring for my mother for a few years because she has been ill and when she died seven months ago I felt I had never really done anything for myself, and because I have always wanted to live in a beautiful small town that is all green and open, I decided to do it, I bought a house here and am looking towards the future here in this lovely town”. Trey pauses to take a bite from his salmon her seems to be really enjoying his dinner, which was great.
“What about yourself, what’s your life story”? Trey asked with interest.
“Well like I said this house was built by my family when this town was settled, and we have lived here ever since. I was born and raised in this house, my father died by a lightning strike in the backyard when I was a toddler, and my mother died 2 years ago, I have no family, it’s just me.” Margaret said with a little bit of sadness in her eyes.
After Dinner they talked more about favorite movies, books and even their favorite colour. They were getting along really well and it seems they had a lot in common.
Now that they have gotten past the awkward stage they were getting a lot more comfortable with one another, relaxing and talking about upfront even personal things.
“I really like you Margaret; you’re very different from the other people in this town. I know I have only been here a couple of day’s, but the people I have spoken to are more interested in gossiping. Especially Brooke Sharpe, all she spoke about was herself or wanting to know my deepest darkest secrets. She also spoke about you, but I don’t believe a word of it.” Trey said honestly.
Margaret laughed partly because she really didn’t like Brooke Sharpe, but also the fact that Trey was so sweet and she felt herself falling in love with this man even though tonight was the only time she has spent with him.
They shared a toast with some champagne, and then managed to drink the whole bottle. Both Margaret and Trey, feeling a bit tipsy, faced at each other and Trey looked into Margaret’s beautiful eye’s…..
The next thing they new they were embracing each other, smiling, it all felt natural. Trey looked even deeper into her face like her was trying to find something.
“Margaret this may sound odd considering we just met but I think I’m falling in love with you, does that sound odd or what”? Trey said smiling.
“Well a little but I think I am falling in love with you too”, Margaret said a little breathless and excited.
Their lips touched as their passion for each other took hold and the kiss seemed to last hours, Margaret’s mind was racing, her body yearned for him and Trey’s did as well, however, Margaret stopped, she took a deep breath to steady herself, Trey looked slightly confused.
“I can’t do this; it’s too quick, please let’s call it a night.” Margaret couldn’t believe what she was saying, but she felt it was right.
“I don’t understand” Trey stammered confused.
“I care for you, but I don’t want to rush into things without thinking things through I would hate to rush things and ruin everything, please understand”. Margaret pleaded.
“I understand. I care for you to Margaret”. Trey confessed.
They parted company with a little peck on the lips; Margaret was thrilled the night went wonderfully. She cleaned up and went to bed with Trey on her mind.
When Margaret awoke, she did so with a smile on her face and as she was coming down the stairs she noticed a familiar face at the door, Trey was ringing the door bell.
Her smile widened, she opened the door and kissed him gently,
“How are you? Did you sleep well?” Margaret asked.
“I slept dreaming of you, Margaret, so yes I slept well” Trey said with a dreamy kind of tone. “What about yourself?”
“I did the same, dreamt about you all night, so yes, I too had a great sleep.” Margaret said moving closer to Trey, he placed his hands around her waist and they kissed more deeply.
Their passion and love for each other seemed to be growing deeper with every passing second they spent together.
Margaret and Trey saw each other quite a lot over the next few weeks. Margaret felt that every moment of everyday, even when she slept, her mind was consumed by thoughts of Trey and he felt the same.
In the mean time, Toni had been demanding details, so Margaret obliged.
“Trey is thoughtful, handsome and a total gentleman, he is everything I love in a man. I think we are in love; he is coming over tonight to watch some TV. I think tonight’s the night”. Margaret told Toni trying to keep her excitement in check.
“OH MY GOD!” Toni couldn’t believe what she was hearing, “this is great news! I’m so happy for you, I knew he was the guy for you when I first saw him, tomorrow I’m gonna call you and I want to hear everything, ok?” declared Toni with a burst of excitement.
Margaret rushed around the house setting up the house for tonight, she was very excited.
They watched a little TV but one thing led to another, they jut couldn’t keep our hands off one another.
He just smelled so good and tasted sweet.
It truly was a night to remember, they kissed and made love, Trey was Margaret’s first; however, she thought that Trey has a little more experience.
That night after they made love Trey laid back and stared at Margaret and asked a question she would never forget…
“what would you say, hypothetically, if I asked you to marry me, I Know we have only known each other a few weeks, but I love you so deeply the though of being without you hurts me deeply. So what do you say?”
Margaret couldn’t believe what she was hearing;” I don’t know, I would have to think about it”. After a few seconds of awkward silence Margaret replied “yes! I think I would say yes”.
So Trey got out of bed and got down on one knee. Margaret was shocked; she just sat there unable to do much of anything.
“Margaret Mc Fee, will you marry me?” Trey asked.
“YES!” Margaret screamed with joy, and jumped out of bed into Treys arms,
“Does that mean you’re going to move in? I know you have only lived in your house for a few weeks but I would love you to live here with me.”
“OK, I would love to. How about tomorrow?” With a kiss he got dressed and left. Margaret was too excited to sleep; she stayed up all night getting the house ready for her ‘fiancé’ to come tomorrow morning.
Life for Margaret is looking great.

Three years have gone by after that wonderful night and a lot of wonderful things have happened.
They finally got married in a little private ceremony, which was just what Margaret and Trey wanted.
Trey is doing great in his career; he is president of the largest company in Sim City, which has a large presence here on Owens Island.
Trey has never been happier; He has the world’s best wife, a successful career and a family on the way.
Margaret found out a few weeks ago she was pregnant and expecting their first child, she is looking forward to becoming a mother and Trey couldn’t hold his excitement. They are very happy.
The day is coming near when their baby will be born and both parents couldn’t be happier.
The rest of Owens Island was shocked to discover that Trey and Margaret were seeing each other. They were more shocked when they got married, and now that they are expecting their first child, the town’s people seem to be avoiding Margaret altogether.
Toni however is ecstatic. She is looking forward to becoming a godmother.
Then something happened that turned this joyful time into a nightmare.
Trey having the day off, decided to relax outside in the sun and contemplate his wonderful future when something looked rather odd in the sky…..
He sat up and shaded his eyes from the glare of the sun just in time to see what it was. But it was too late…. he didn’t have enough time to get out of its way….
All Margaret heard was a giant bang and an explosion that blew in a lot of the windows facing the driveway; she screamed and ducked for cover. Dazed and confused she raced outside to see what had caused it, however what she saw was a pile of twisted metal that resembled a satellite. Margaret looked around franticly, screaming Trey’s name, but she new deep down that Trey was under that rubble. She felt cold and broke down into hysterical sobs…
Then out of the corner of her eye she thought she saw Trey, She moved her hands away from her face and slowly lifted her head and there standing before her was Trey, waving to her smiling.
“I love you Margaret I always will, don’t blame yourself it was not your fault”. Trey’s voice seemed distant.
As Trey went to turn he looked at her and said
“Raise our child well my love.”
Then he vanished, the police arrived followed by the fire brigade and there was a crowd forming outside the fence. But all this didn’t matter to Margaret. She had lost the one person in this world who loved her and who she loved in return, and with Trey’s child growing in her belly she new she would always have some part of him here with her.
The Curse seems to have struck again……

When Toni heard about what happened she rushed to be at her best friend’s side. She was shocked she couldn’t believe this happened. Toni comforted Margaret and let her cry on her shoulder; Toni even took care of all the funeral arrangements
Later that night Margaret went into labour and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Dylan Mc Fee that’s the name that Trey wanted if it was a boy and she felt it was right to honor his wish.
Margaret looked into her baby’s face and saw Trey looking back at her. Dylan had Margaret’s eyes and Trey’s nose. This was a comfort, Margaret has always been a survivor and she will continue on especially now that she has a baby to care for and love like a mother should.
She took Dylan to see his father’s grave and to show Trey that he has a fine-looking son.
“Trey, you have a son, I called him Dylan just as you wanted. I love you and miss you. It’s my fault your dead, because of my family and it’s that curse, you always laughed every time I used to talk to you about it and called it superstition. I guess a part of me believed that too until now. I’m frightened for our son, is he going to be lonely and miserable for the rest of his life because he is a Mc Fee? I need your guidance. Margaret confessed to Trey’s grave, trying to keep the tears from flowing.
However time went on and two months have past. The pain of losing Trey still weighs heavily on Margaret’s heart, but, Toni is always there to make her laugh.
Toni is also very close to Dylan. She absolutely adores the little tyke.
Today is a special day, it’s Dylan’s first Birthday. He has grown up into such a beautify boy, he is going well in his toddler days learning to walk, talk and go to the potty. Margaret is loving this time teaching him these things, it’s quality mummy and son time.
Life in the Mc Fee home is becoming very routine. Dylan has learned very quickly to walk and use the potty, but teaching him to talk is proving to be difficult but he is getting there.
He is growing up so fast and he is looking more like his father every day.
His birthdays come and go, Margaret is proud of her son and Toni can’t believe
He is now ready to start school, Dylan and Margaret have a very close relationship.
Dylan is looking forward to going to school as he loves to read and is very creative.
When Dylan got home from his first day he wanted to do his homework straight away, so Margaret gave him a hand to get him started. All the little cutie could talk about was school, but, Margaret could see there was something bothering him. She tried asking him directly what was wrong but he just acted like there was nothing wrong, so Margaret decided to let it be until he comes to her about it.
“Mum why don’t I have a father like the other kid’s from school”? Dylan asked Margaret finally.
This question took Margaret by surprise. She was going to sit Dylan down and tell him all about his father when he was a little bit older, but I guess now she has to tell him so she explained…”Your father was the most sweet, gentle, kind man you would ever know, and we fell in love almost straight away. We got married and then I fell pregnant with you, Then…” Margaret’s voice started failing her, her throat clenched and she had to stop to take a deep breath. “Then one day he died” Margaret couldn’t think of a way to tell Dylan that his father was killed by a falling satellite.
“Mum, the kids at school say that our family is cursed, and that the Mc Fee’s are bad, is that true”?
“No, there is a family legend about a curse but it’s not true” Margaret felt like she was lying to her son, she tried to ease her mind by telling herself that she didn’t want to frighten Dylan.
Margaret took Dylan inside and showed him photo’s of his father and told him more about Trey and his family. Dylan was happy to hear about his father which made Margaret happy, but, deep inside the painful memories still stung.

One rainy cold Sunday before Dylan’s birthday Margaret decided it would be fun to curl up on the couch watching movies with Dylan. And that’s what they did, they lit the fireplace and relaxed on the couch eating chips and watched some comedies.
Dylan as you can see is in his teenage years and he is a very smart teenager.
“Hey mum, is it possible for me to go to a private school. There is this great one called St John’s College over the other side of the island”. Dylan asked Margaret with hope in his eyes.
“OK honey let me look into it for you” Margaret said with pride on her face and in her voice. She new her son was going to do great things.
So Margaret got on the phone and called St Johns College and spoke with the headmaster BJ Campbell,
“Hello my son is interested in attending your college and I was wondering if there is a possibility of him getting in”?
“Well we don’t just admit anyone so how about I come for dinner tonight at 5PM and we will begin the interview process”? As Margaret hung up the phone she was thinking that private school headmasters are very arrogant.
That night everything went wonderful the headmaster seemed extra keen to see our house and Dylan’s A+ grades helped a lot with him getting in, yes he got accepted. Dylan was stoked and I was a very proud mother. I thought of Trey and how this would have been a proud moment for him too.

It’s Dylan’s first day at his new private school, and he is very happy he plans on studying hard and be very successful for his future career.
Dylan has decided to join the military, Margaret isn’t too happy about that but she wants to support Dylan in all that he does.
While Dylan works hard at school Margaret toils in her garden which gives her a lot of pleasure watching her plants grow and flourish.
After school Dylan decided to go up on the net and get a part-time job for the military after searching a while he finally found one and got it. Margaret is very proud but slightly worried.
Dylan is also having his first crush with Melody Tinker, a girl he met at school. They get along great and feel very deeply for one another. It wasn’t long before they were going steady.
Dylan worked so hard and It didn’t take too long before he got promoted to the top of his Military job and with his school grades being at A+ he was an overachiever and happy about it..
The day before Dylan’s 19th birthday Melody came over very upset,
“Oh Dylan my parents are moving overseas, my father got fired last month from his job and he finally found one but it’s in France. We have to stop seeing one another; I couldn’t stand a long distance relationship.” Melody pleaded, her emotion boiling to the surface.
Dylan couldn’t believe what he was hearing; everything was going great with Melody.
“How could your parents do that to us, why can’t he get a job here so we can stay together”? Dylan demanded very angry.
“Dylan it’s not my parent’s fault these things happen, I mean we can still keep in contact and be friends. Melody explained.
“ I don’t care about friends I want you, I thought you wanted me but you don’t seem to be fighting to be with me at all, I bet you’re just looking forward to going to France. You have always wanted to travel; you probably don’t give a stuff about me. Just leave.
Dylan was furious and stormed into the house leaving Melody sobbing in shock. He instantly felt guilty; he shouldn’t have yelled at her like that, it’s not her or her parents fault. He didn’t want her to leave on such bad terms so he swung the door open but she had already left. He got on the phone to call her but she wouldn’t take any of his calls. The next day her family left and this left Dylan broken hearted.
Was it the Cures or just bad luck???????
Part Seven comming very soon
22nd Apr 2006, 3:25 AM
Keep updating! I love it! :D
22nd Apr 2006, 3:30 AM
It’s been two years now and Dylan is still missing Melody. He has lost his drive and Margaret is very worried about him, he just walks around all day like he is in a daze, he is moody and depressed and has lost his lust for life.
He is a junior officer in the Sims army, Owens Island division; Margaret thinks he could have been a senior officer already if he wasn’t so depressed.
Then someone walked down his street that will change all of that, Anita Ryan. She has lived here a few months now, she moved from Pleasantview. She is 24, slightly older than Dylan but she is beautiful and sweet. Dylan was instantly in love with her, yet he was worried that she may not feel the same way and he was right….
You see Anita was attracted to Dylan but not in the way you think, she was attracted to Dylan’s money,
“The Mc Fee family is worth twice as much as Mortimer Goth was; also Dylan is more handsome and younger.” Anita thought as Dylan talked to her in his front yard, it was no coincidence that Anita walked by as she did she had been gathering a lot of information about the Mc Fee’s for months since she left PleasantView after fleecing old Mortimer of a lot of money. Anita smiled at the thought of it.
Anita isn’t a patient woman and makes her moves quick; soon enough Dylan is intoxicated with her, which is right where she wants him. As she bids him goodnight she thinks to herself, he’s going to be easy.
However Dylan does not want to rush into anything so he decides to take his time, he has been burned before with Melody and doesn’t want it to happen again.
Margaret sensed a new life in her son he was happier compared to 6 months ago; he worked harder at work and even got a few promotions. She knew it had to be someone, then Dylan told Margaret about Anita,
“She is wonderful mum, she is funny and beautiful and I think she really likes me. We’ve been seeing one another for about 6 months now and I think I’m going to ask her to move in with me, would you be ok with that?” Dylan asked
“Well I would like to meet her first if that’s ok”? Margaret requested.
So Dylan arranged Anita to come over for dinner.
Part eight comming very soon.
22nd Apr 2006, 3:48 AM
The dinner went well, or that was what Dylan thought, Margaret and Anita looked like they were getting along, they were talking and laughing.
Dylan didn’t pay too much attention to the expression on Margaret’s face when she reacted to a few things that Anita said.
“So tell me about yourself, Anita.” Margaret said with genuine interest,
“Well, I was raised by my mother, I never knew my father because he ran off with someone 20 years younger than him, leaving my mother alone to raise me. She had very little money and had to work very hard all her life which is why I will never allow that to happen to me”. Anita replied with a lot of passion with a hint of bitterness.
Margaret felt sorry for her yet was a bit worried about her last comment. She stared deep into Anita’s face and got a very cold shiver; from that moment Margaret got a bad vibe from her and didn’t like her at all.
Margaret then stared at Dylan and saw his deep affection for Anita and she saw happiness, she didn’t want to see her son get hurt but she also couldn’t stand in their way, if she did then Dylan would hate her and she could never let that happen, so all Margaret could do is watch and hope for the best and be there for her son.
After dinner Anita excused herself and went to find the bathroom. She walked into gym and looked into the mirror and straightened her hair and dress.
“That old crone is going to ruin everything, I know she’s onto me, but I don’t care if she does try to get between me and Dylan because if she does I will make her son hate her. Hopefully that will kill the old bat then Dylan, and more importantly his money, will be mine!” Anita thought to herself bringing a smile to her face.
“I’m just too hot for my own good”, Anita whispered running her hands up and down her body.
While Anita was out of the room, Dylan took the time to find out what Margaret thought of Anita,
“Hey mum what do you think of her?” Dylan asked with such hope in his eye’s Margaret didn’t have the heart to tell him the truth,
“She is lovely, if you want her to move in with you, you can, sweetie”. Margaret hated lying to her son but she felt that she didn’t have a choice.
“ANITA”, Dylan called from the main room, “where are you honey”?
Anita hurried down from the gym to Dylan’s side; she even gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Margaret said goodbye to Anita and goodnight to Dylan, and went upstairs to bed.
Dylan held Anita’s hand and stared into her big blue eyes,
“Anita would you like to come and live here with me”? Dylan asked with a little tremble of nerves in his voice.
“Anita got all excited it worked and then she thought of Margaret and this was not a pleasant thought,
“Yes, Dylan honey I will, I Love you”. She said trying not to show the satisfaction in her eyes.
Later that evening they got into the hot tub and Anita did what she specialises in….
Dylan was so happy that Anita was his first. It was truly a night that was very special in Dylan’s heart; he is deeply in love with Anita.

A few weeks later Dylan made the decision that he wants to marry Anita, This was exactly what Anita wanted, she said yes and leapt into Dylan’s arms so happy but not for the reason Dylan thought. She was so close to getting his money she could taste it, they just have to get married then it’s all hers.
Then Dylan asked her for something that she never would have thought,
“Anita honey I want to make a family with you, what do you think”? Dylan asked looking deep into his beloved’s eye’s and completely ignoring the shocked and disgusted look on her face.
Anita thought about it for what seemed like forever to Dylan,
“If I have a kid with him he will marry me and then I can get my hands on his money, but if I have a kid it’ll ruin my gorgeous figure, what to do what to do…” Anita looked at Dylan and thought she better answer him quick so she said yes, she will adjust her plan where necessary. All she wants is that money, it’s a lot of money so Anita would go to any length necessary.
That night they consummated their engagement and plans to have children, much to Anita’s repugnance.
Not even engaged for a week and she is already spending Dylan’s money on clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry anything she wants. This heightened Margaret’s suspicion and where she decided to do a little bit of a background check on Anita Ryan.
One morning Margaret got up early and went into the study and began her background search on Anita, this took some time, however, she finally hit pay dirt on the PleasantView Profit. The newspaper wrote an article about their local millionaire getting married to a woman who was as mysterious as she was beautiful, their wedding picture had Anita standing near a kindly looking old man who was Mortimer Goth. She continued looking until she found another article saying that after a year of wedded bliss the happy Goth couple was no more when Mortimer awoke one morning and found his blushing bride gone, but not just gone she took seventy-five thousand simoleons with her, Mortimer Goth was heartbroken.
Just then Margaret heard a noise behind her… she turned to see Anita standing at the door not looking like her usual happy sweet smiling self.
“What do you think you are doing Margaret” Anita demanded, her sugary tones replaced with bitter anger,
“Nothing that concerns you Anita” Margaret said trying to sound casual; Margaret closed down the web page and got to her feet.
“Well it looked like you were looking into my past, that is not wise Margaret, you see Dylan is totally in love with me and if you try to get between us I will not only destroy the close relationship you have with your gullible son but I will make sure you never see your grandchild…” Anita said with such venom.
“You’re pregnant…” Margaret replied stunned and frightened.
“Yes I found out yesterday I am planning on telling Dylan tonight he will be so thrilled, so don’t do anything to ruin it for him” Anita said with mock concern.
She looked at Margaret, smiled and walked out of the room leaving Margaret in shock. She began to cry not knowing what to do. She is so concerned for Dylan and for the unborn child growing in that beasts stomach.

Good story, If I was the mum I would "stumble" accros the page while Dylans looking, AFTER the babys born. (and get the cops on to Her)
25th Apr 2006, 11:06 AM
When Dylan got home from work he was already in a great mood, Anita meet him at the door, he swept her into his arms,
“I just got that promotion I have wanted, baby isn’t that great”? Dylan said with excitement.
“I have something better to tell you, I’m pregnant” Anita confesses to a totally shocked and thrilled Dylan, Margaret walked past just to hear what Anita said she couldn’t hold her anger in she looked at them hug and Dylan smiling from ear to ear, Margaret just turned around and walked away into the garden.
A few Weeks later and a lot of Debate between Anita and Dylan about what kind of wedding to have Anita wanted a huge wedding however Dylan only wanted a very small wedding, this went on and on until Anita gave in with much loathing, however she would never show this to Dylan. The ceremony was lonely Margaret was not too thrilled about it but didn’t show this out of fear of what Anita would do.
That night after a quite dinner Dylan snuggled with Anita thinking all the while about his future family, he couldn’t wait, whereas Anita couldn’t help but think about what she is going to do with all that money when she gets this kid out of her.
When Anita finally fell asleep Dylan got up and went down stairs to talk to his mum.
“Mum you don’t seem to be excited about becoming a Grandmother, why”? Dylan asked with concerned
“No that’s not it sweetie I’m just tired it’s been a very busy few months and I am very excited to have a grandchild”. Margaret said partly telling the truth, she is looking forward to becoming a grandmother, but she is just so worried about that witch Anita.
A few months later Anita started showing her pregnancy and it was at this time that she started to get extra moody with Dylan, because he would rub her belly all the time and talking stupidly to her belly,
“You hardly pay any attention on me; it’s all the baby is this what it’s going to be like when it’s born? I thought you loved me” Anita put on the water works and Dylan wrapped his arms around her and pleaded his love for Anita and she smiled, she still got it.
Anita was moody also because she couldn’t go shopping in this condition she hardly got off the couch; Margaret had to do everything, which was fine with Margaret because at least when Anita was home she could keep an eye on her.
The time has come for Anita to give birth, Anita was about to go to lounge on the couch, she felt a sharp pain in her abdomen. She screamed and grabbed her stomach Margaret ran down the stares and saw her water brake,
“GET THIS THING OUT OF ME!!!” Anita screamed.
Margaret ran to the phone and called for the ambulance, when they finally arrived she had gone to far into labor to be moved so they delivered her baby there in the main hall, Margaret was so pleased the baby was out of Anita and health.
Is it a boy or girl and will it be like its mother…..Keep reading to find out.
Part eleven coming soon.

Yes it is great, Tell Dylan, Margaret Tell Dylan!
25th Apr 2006, 11:40 AM
“Here is your grandson Andrew, but remember if you blab to Dylan I will leave and take Andrew with me and you will never see him again.” Anita warned as she presented Margaret with her beautiful Grandson.
Once Anita didn’t have the baby she sat on the couch for the rest of the day watching the shopping channel, she didn’t once show any interest in Andrew or Margaret, however, when Dylan came home….
Anita pick Andrew up immediately and started playing with him and hugging him and doing all the things a good mother should do, just so Dylan would see what she wanted him too.
Anita even gave Dylan a hold while she went to make baby Andrew his dinner. This shocked Margaret, all day she did nothing didn’t even acknowledge his existents, Margaret had to do everything all day today yet she can lie like this and get away with it.
This went on and Dylan was none the wiser. Margaret practically raised Andrew from the day he was born, well at least when Dylan wasn’t home anyway.
Anita became restless, Margaret could tell with the way she was acting. Dylan couldn’t see it; he was so blindly in love with her. Margaret knew it was only a matter of time before Anita moved on and this worried her because she hoped Anita wouldn’t take Andrew with her.
Then two day’s before Andrews first Birthday, while Dylan was at work, Anita packed all the valuable items that she and Dylan had bought into a backpack and a suitcase with one hundred-thousand simolions and left the house, waked to a taxi and then left without looking back once or even saying goodbye to Andrew or even leaving a note to say she was off to catch a plane to Sim City then a connection flight to the tropics. She is very pleased with herself, as Anita was getting into the taxi.
Margaret watched from the window. She held Andrew tightly to her, glad that she’s gone and happy that she didn’t take Andrew with her.
Margaret was not looking forward to Dylan finding out, he is going to be devastated, and Margaret is hopping he doesn’t blame her.
Part 12 comming soon.
25th Apr 2006, 2:36 PM
When Dylan got home he was in such a good mood,
“HONEY, MUM, ANDREW I got promoted” Dylan yelled looking around to see who was around. He didn’t see anyone so he ran up the stairs two steps at a time. When he reached the landing he saw Margaret coming out of the nursery. Their eyes meet and Margaret looked away quickly, almost like she was afraid to face him. Dylan, confused, walked slowly towards Margaret,
“What’s wrong, it’s not Andrew is it, is he ok”? Dylan asked with deep concern in his voice and on his face.
“No he’s fine, it’s Anita. She left with her bags packed and I suspect a suitcase full of our money. I’m sorry honey but she caught me looking her up on the internet and what I found was not good. She married an old man in Pleasantveiw and after a year stole seventy-five thousand simoleons, she confronted me months ago, and threatened if I told you she would make you hate me and would take Andrew away and we would never see him. I couldn’t let that happen so I stayed quiet, I’m sorry sweetie please believe me.” Margaret pleaded, however Dylan just blew up, he couldn’t believe it, he just couldn’t wrap his mind around it.
“Your lying, she left because you must have said something to upset her, she loved me and Andrew. Anita would never leave us, this must be your entire fault, how could you I thought you loved me and my son” Dylan was almost screaming. Margaret could see the tears in his eye’s and the hurt on his face, this broke Margaret’s heart.
“Stay away from me” Dylan demanded and turned on his heels and walked into the nursery and closed the door.
Later that night Dylan got a phone call from the police, the plane that Anita was on hit bad turbulence and she was thrown around the bathroom that she was in and hit her head vary hard on the sink and the blow killed her. What the police failed to mention was that she was not alone in that bathroom. He met a very wealthy man from Sim City and was doing what she specialises in with him in the bathroom of the plane when it hit the turbulence. The guy was fine he just had a few cuts and bruises.
“We will be bringing her belongings back to you tomorrow with her body”. This news almost killed Dylan, he dropped the phone and crumpled into a heap on the floor crying. Margaret heard the crash of the phone and ran to her son’s side but he snubbed her and got up, ran up stairs and slammed his bedroom door. The sudden bang woke Andrew up and he started crying. Margaret went to her grandson and looked after him all the while hearing her son crying and sobbing in his room broken hearted and confused.
Months have past and Andrew is a gorgeous little toddler, Dylan hasn’t gotten over losing Anita but has become very angry and bitter towards his memories of her because when her remains and belongings were returned he opened the suitcase to find a lot of their money in it, one hundred thousand simoleons to be exact and all that Margaret said about her came back to him in a wave of guilt and anger, why didn’t his mum tell him, and why did Anita do this to him.
Margaret was outside in the backyard looking at her garden and thinking about Dylan and Trey and Andrew when Dylan came out and stood next to her,
“Mum I am so sorry for the way I treated you, I had no right to take my pain and anger out on you, please forgive me.” Dylan pleaded.
Margaret turned to Dylan and smiled with a tear running down her cheek,
“Of course I do sweetie, you’re my son and you were hurting I love you.”
They hugged each other tightly; Dylan pulled away and looked at his mother,
“Mum do you think the curse got Anita?” Dylan asked with pain and anger on his face at the mention of Anita’s name,
“It’s possible, before your father died I always thought the family curse was just a legend but when Trey died I began to believe it might be real. Anita may not have loved you but you had a deep love for her and she brought such happiness into your life. That is what the curse does. It gives you a brief time of happiness and love and then rip’s it away from you” Margaret explained. The pain on Dylan’s face remained stamped on his face, Margaret put her hand on his shoulder and led him inside where they sat down with a hot cup of coffee and talked about everything from Andrew’s future to family history.

26th Apr 2006, 4:56 AM
After that night Dylan decided to take some leave from work to focus on Andrew and his new fascination in the family legend, the curse.
After but a few weeks he had already taught Andrew to walk and talk, however, the potty training as usual was left in Margaret’s capable hands which didn’t bother her she just found it funny.
When he wasn’t looking after Andrew he was searching the web for any information on the Mc Fee family tree, the curse or the family before they came to Owens Island. This concerned Margaret but at least he wasn’t moping around the house anymore.
He searched for weeks until he found some references to another family that was in business with the Mc Fees back in 1600. He ran with these references and discovered everything he ever wanted to know about his family.
The Mc Fee’s lived in Blue Water Village a small yet wealthy community; they lived there for generations and were very affluent. The Mc Fee’s were in business with the Craven family, who, like the Mc Fee’s flourished. Theodore Mc Fee and Larson Craven were close friends; their toy shop was the largest in Blue water their wives were friends and their children even played together. Clare Craven and Jonathon Mc Fee grew up together and were very close and when they reached their teenage years their friendship grew deeper into love. When they become young adults they asked their parents if they could marry. Theodore was pleased with this and approved but Larson didn’t. He planned for his daughter to marry into the Monty family in Veronaville, they are wealthy and interested in investing a large amount of money into the business and so this proposal from Jonathon Mc Fee put Larson’s plan in jeopardy. He didn’t hide his dissatisfaction for the engagement.
Clare was so hurt by her father that she left the Craven family and married Jonathon anyway. This broke the close friendship that bound the Mc Fee’s and the Craven family so business from there was difficult but when Clare fell pregnant and died in childbirth this devastated both family’s and the business was split in two and the family’s never spoke. But when Larson’s business failed he went to the Mc Fee house and in front of the whole Mc Fee family cursed them for their still prospering business. This curse fell on the child that their daughter died giving birth to. He spread rumors about the Mc Fee family being into the black arts and that’s how they are so successful, this caused such friction in Blue Water Village that they moved to Owens Island to get away from the persecution only to find more persecution and victimisation.
This information that Dylan found blew his mind, this is why the Mc Fee’s are so unlucky in love because the Craven family cursed them, but how do we break this curse? Why should our children never really know the love of both their parents?
From that moment Dylan had a new purpose, it was to find a way to break this curse so when little Andrew finds love he can keep it well into his elder years.

Dylan thought about what he must do to figure out a way to break the curse for quite some time and then it hit him he could talk to Ms Lavender Rain, she and her people are camped near the western bank of the island, they are gypsies.
So he got in touch with Lavender and invited her over to talk about his family problem.
When she arrived Dylan quickly talked her through what he had discovered about his family history and the curse, Lavender listened intensely….
and then for a moment her eye’s flickered and she seemed to be afraid, her hand came over her mouth which was wide with what looked like shock and she shivered like she was touched by a cold breeze that only she could feel.
Lavender stared at Dylan as she reached into her bag and brought out her crystal ball. She thrust it up high so Dylan could gaze into it,
“Look deep into it and you will see your solution.” Lavender said.
Dylan felt kind of silly but did as she asked. He felt a wave of calm fall over him and images flickered through his mind; a woman with bright red hair and a sweet smile; a tall man with blonde hair hugging this woman and kissing her lovingly; a wedding cake; the lady with red hair pregnant; she is in labor; the same woman with a beautiful baby. There was a slight ringing in his ears, then the images stopped and he felt faint. He held the fence for support.
“I don’t understand what just happened”, Dylan whispered in a kind of dazed.
“This is your solution Dylan, to breaking the curse.” Lavender answered.
After Lavender left Dylan went to spend some time with Andrew, he hasn’t done that in some time and it’s almost Andrews’s birthday.
Andrew is such a little cutie, however, like all children they grow so fast.
Andrew is happy little boy, he has the love of his grandmother and his father, although Dylan is always in the study searching the internet and talking on the phone to people all over the country, but, Andrew knows he comes first to Dylan always. It’s Andrews first day of school today and he couldn’t be more excited. Andrew can’t wait to see what life has to offer….

When Andrew got home he was so happy he had a wonderful day at school, he has his father’s thirst for knowledge. Andrew asked Margaret to help him with his homework which she was pleased to do. Dylan on the other hand was busy at his computer searching for the answers.
After his homework was complete Andrew had some playtime, he is a happy, active boy.
Andrew loves to read, play his computer games, but most of all swim; he is a real water baby. He could spend hours in the pool if it wasn’t for Margaret calling him in when it gets too dark.
When Andrew went to bed that night he dreamt of nothing but sweet thoughts, he had a great day and he is looking forward to a great life.
Margaret however is getting old and isn’t as active as she would like. She is worried about Andrews’s future, and Dylan’s who is still obsessed about figuring out what his visions mean if it can break the curse.
However today is a very sad day, Toni Rayne, Margaret’s best and only friend died last night. She too was getting old, Margaret’s heart felt heavy with grief as she read the obituary in the morning paper, she is going to visit her grave today.
Margaret found Toni’s grave and saw her favorite flowers were planted all over it, Margaret new that Toni would have loved it this way, Toni always loved flowers.
Margaret stood there remembering all the funny moments that she and Toni had together because if there was one thing that Toni was good at it was making you laugh. She also had a huge heart, she cared about everyone and thought of others before herself, that was one of the many traits that Margaret loved about Toni. She will be sorely missed.
Part Sixteen comming soon
29th Apr 2006, 7:39 AM
Daily life became routine. Margaret watched as Andrew grew up and is becoming an overachiever like his father, yet he also has plans to become captain of the swimming team. Dylan on the other hand has quit his career in the Military and is getting a little fanatical about his visions; Margaret is becoming very troubled about his behavior. Yet something’s going to happen to change everything….
Andrew has become a teenager and is looking to absorb all the knowledge he can. Dylan thought he should warn Andrew about the curse because Andrew is at that age where he is interested in girls, so he sat him down and told him the story of the curse. Andrew thought his father had lost his marbles.
“Andrew I have been trying to find a way to free this family from it. I have been unsuccessful, so be careful”. Dylan warned
Andrew had to keep himself from laughing out loud Margaret backed Dylan up and told Andrew her story of his grandfather. This made Andrew think but in the end he didn’t believe it.
Until he met the girl of his dreams.
This is Lilly. She and her family moved here only a couple of years ago to try to make a fresh start. She met Andrew at school and felt a real spark between them. Andrew has a soft spot for red heads and Lilly has big green eyes, which Andrew could spend hours staring at.
Andrew invited Lilly over just to hang out, but Andrew felt a bit shy about letting her in the house or he would have to introduce her to his dad and grandmother. So he decided to hang out the front. Lilly didn’t mind as long as she got to spend time with Andrew.
They talked until it got dark, their feelings for each other grew and with the assistance of teenage hormones they soon moved closer together and…
They held one another and Andrew kissed Lilly’s neck, he then stared in her beautiful eye’s…
“Lilly you excite me. You’re gorgeous and funny, I could talk to you all day”. Andrew said in a low whisper
They moved even closer and Lilly kind of hesitated but pressed her lips against Andrews and they kissed for what felt like such a long time. Both Lilly and Andrew felt rejuvenated about their first kiss. It started to rain and they snuck through the back door hoping that Margaret or Dylan wouldn’t see them; Lilly had to go, it was getting late and Andrew being a gentleman kissed her hand and said goodbye.
Andrew and Lilly have been going steady now for three months, they both agree it’s time to meet Andrew’s parents first then Lilly’s parents.
Lilly is very nervous, as she passed through the threshold. She looked around the house was so big beautiful. She saw Margaret first, her soft gentle smile put Lilly at ease. Andrew said,
“Grandmother, this is Lilly, my girlfriend” Andrew said proudly.
“Pleased to meet you Lilly my name is Margaret Mc Fee, how are you tonight”?
“Good” Lilly said in a low mouse like voice.
“That’s good to know. Make yourself at home, you can use the spa or pool if you want”.
Dylan was in the study and Andrew went in to get him. Lilly wandered around and walked outside to the spa and pool, she couldn’t believe how beautiful this house is. She decided to take a dip in the spa and when she got comfortable Andrew appeared with Dylan behind him. Lilly quickly got out of the spa and greeted Dylan.
Dylan didn’t really take much notice of Lilly at first, then when Andrew said,
“Dad this is Lilly”,
Dylan looked at her and shook her hand and then his visions he had come flooding back when he gripped Lilly’s hand.
“What’s your last name Lilly just for curiosity sake” Dylan asked looking intensely at Lilly.
“Craven my last name is Craven, Why”? Lilly asked with much puzzlement.
“Nothing, don’t worry about it, it’s been wonderful to meet you Lilly Craven”, Dylan said with such excitement. He raced inside to the study and got on his computer and started finding out as much as he could about the Craven family on Owens Island.
“She is the woman from my vision, I’m sure of it”, He muttered to himself with a smile.
Part Sixteen comming soon.

This is Samantha Craven, she is a woman of simple pleasures. She loves to read a good book, and look after her family. She is a loving woman who always thinks of her family before herself.
This is Mark Craven, a man who is trying his hardest to provide for his family and always seems to fail no matter what he tries. He loves his family but he knows his family is cursed to fail in every business venture he tries. He is tired of failing, but he just does not know what to do.
This is their home and they are lucky to have it. Mark keeps losing his jobs and they are in so much debt that his every waking thought seems to be trying to find a way to get them out.
“Mum, Dad, I have some wonderful news, I have been seeing this boy Andrew. He is really sweet and I think I love him, how do you feel about that”? Lilly asks after she feels that she confessed her soul.
Mark thought about it for a bit and looked at his wife for guidance.
"Well that’s fine sweetie but who is he, how about we have him over for dinner tonight, that way we can get to know him ok”. Mark responded pleased to see his daughter so happy.
“Ok great I’ll call him now and organize it, thank you both”, she kissed her mother and father on the cheek and ran to the phone to call him.
That night Andrew came over hoping for great discussions and an opportunity to prove to Lilly’s parents that he is a great guy for their daughter but little did he know it would end in disaster.
When Andrew introduced himself Samantha instantly disliked him, the last name rang alarm bells in her head. She had heard the name Mc Fee before but then she pushed it out of her head thinking it’s such a common name.
Then came Andrew meeting Mark, Lilly’s father. Andrew introduced himself and Mark had the same reaction as his wife Samantha, he didn’t like him, the last name is so familiar and then it dawned on Samantha. She interrupted their conversation saying
“I know your family, you’re the incredibly wealth family Mc Fee’s aren’t you? The one that cursed my husband’s family centuries ago and we are still paying for it.” Samantha shrieked.
This hit a sore spot with Mark and he exploded,
“How dare you come here in this house, you leave my house and my daughter alone, GET OUT NOW!!”, Mark yelled and Andrew quickly walked past Lilly who was almost in tears. As he passed her he grazed her hand and whispered,
“I still love you Lilly”.
Lilly ran out to the front porch and watched the boy she loves walk away, her heart shattered into tiny pieces. She wanted to crumble onto the floor and cry till she couldn’t cry anymore, but her father and mother’s arguing brought her back to reality for just long enough to storm into the lounge room and confront them.
“What the **** did you do, how could you? You ruined everything, I hate you both, don’t you ever say that you love me because I know that’s a lie”. Lilly said her voice breaking with emotion.
“Don’t speak to us that way young lady, we did it to protect you. Those McFees are like black widows, you love them and you live a short painful life. I demand you to never see that boy or any of his family again”. Mark commanded,
Lilly was overcome and just ran to her room slamming the door crying so hard she felt like she would never stop.

I was just wondering (im not sure if anyone has asked this yet...but)a while ago you said a Mc'Fee and a Craven got married, so wouldn't that mean Andrew and Lilly are related some how?
30th Apr 2006, 11:45 PM
yeah......but from what i can see it's just a very distant connection because that Mc'Fee/Craven marriage occur like almost 400 yrs ago......I think........because that's when the curse thing started........

I really am lovin' all the drama. Update soon!
1st May 2006, 12:33 PM
When Andrew got home, he told his father what happened at Lilly’s place and Dylan just couldn’t believe it,
“He threw you out of the house and forbad you to see her again just because you were a Mc Fee, that’s not right how dare he”? Dylan said the anger in his voice rising.
Dylan felt he needed to do something to put this right. He got straight on the phone and called Mark Craven to talk to him, when Mark picked up,
“Hi Mark this is Dylan why did you treat my son the way you did? What right do you think have to do that?” Dylan asked trying to keep his anger in check.
“I don’t want a Mc Fee anywhere near my house, family or daughter, just keep your son away from us” Mark said not trying to hide his rage.
“You’re only hurting your daughter,” Dylan tried to say before being cut off.
“How dare you tell me what’s good for my daughter! I know what’s best for her.” Mark was raging, Dylan could hear it on the other end of the line before he heard the click of Mark hanging up. Dylan was so angry he just couldn’t hide it any more.
Margaret was watching TV when Dylan stormed into the room,
“I cant believe that Craven Blowhard, he is such a crank! Did you know he kicked Andrew out of his house because he is a Mc Fee and has told both myself and Andrew that we are to keep away from them and their daughter? See, total *******.” Dylan was fuming.
The phone rang and Dylan ran to it and picked it up, it was Lilly. She couldn’t speak for long so he quickly put Andrew on. His face lit up, he was so happy to hear his beloved’s voice.
“Lilly can you sneak over tonight? We can see each other without your parents knowing. I love you and I want to keep seeing you, please!” Dylan pleaded.
“Ok, I’ll try see you tonight, I love you too!” Lilly replied.
So, when night came, Andrew waited outside on the front doorstep. When he saw Lilly approach he ran up to her, he just had to touch her beautiful face. He reached out his hand and touched her silky check.
“I missed you sweetie,” Dylan said with joy in every word.
They didn’t say much, just stared into each others eyes, they hugged and they were happy. They secretly saw one anther for years, their feelings for each other grew deeper.
Now they are older they both feel it’s time to confront Lilly’s parents about wanting to get married.
“Let’s call them up and invite them here, maybe we can all sit down and discuss this like adults.” Lilly said with a lilt nervousness in her voice.
“Ok, Honey,” Andrew said trying to sound strong and not afraid.
“Also, remember if they still say they will not except us being together, you can move in with me and my family and we could still be together. I don’t want to loose you.” Andrew said trying to comfort both Lilly and himself, Lilly nodded.

While they waited for Mark Craven to come over Lilly and Andrew got into the hot tub to try to relax, they both felt very tense. When Mark finally came over he didn’t look too receptive to reason but they had to try.
“My wife Samantha couldn’t bring herself to come here, she’s at home very upset to discover that, against our wishes, our daughter still continued to see a Mc Fee!” Mark sounded disappointed.
“Now, what do you have to say, I don’t have all day.” Mark said impatiently. He Looked around the main room is disgust, seeing all the antiques and ornaments which made him more bitter.
“Look at your house, you’re still wealthy I see. Thanks to your ancestors my family have been scrounging for money for centuries. You cursed us so that we will be forever poor and never succeed in anything we try!” Mark said emotion filling his words.
Dylan stood in,
“That is not true, your family cursed mine because my descendant married your family’s daughter against the wishes of her family. When she did, your family split the business they shared with ours and then, when Clair Craven died in childbirth, the Cravens never forgave the Mc Fee’s and cursed them. If a Mc Fee falls in love they will only have a few years of happiness and then the partner will die a mysterious death. When Larson cursed the Mc Fee’s he must have inadvertently cursed his own family too.
“You see, both the families are at fault, but we have a chance to right it. If you give Andrew and Lilly your blessings to marry it will break the curse and both our families will be better off, don’t you see that?” Dylan explained.
“I will not give you my daughter so you can kill her! No, she is the only thing in our lives that we have succeeded in, she is a good girl, a smart girl, and I will not hurt her by allowing her to marry into this cursed family, NEVER.!” Mark screamed.
Andrew couldn’t hold himself back, he stepped in and started yelling.
“You can’t stop us, we are adults now and we will get married whether you like it or not! We just wanted to start on the right foot. Now either you give us your blessings or you will loose your daughter all together,” Andrew was so angry and Dylan stood between them, trying to hold Andrew back.
Lilly stepped in, “Andrew is right dad I just want your blessing, please!” Lilly pleaded.
Mark felt a mixture of emotion, he looked at his daughter and turned away, he started to cry.
“I CANT LOOSE YOU LILLY! YOU’RE THE MOST IMPORTAINT THING TO US!” Mark sobbed loudly.
Lilly walked up to her father and hugged him.
“If you give us your blessing, you won’t loose me. Don’t you see, the curse started because Larson wanted Clair to marry a guy her father had picked out, just so he could get more money. He stood in the way of true love and because he was unyielding he lost his daughter, his business and all of his money he held so dear, you are making the same mistake,” Lilly reasoned.
“Lilly is right, if you say yes to Andrew and Lilly’s marriage then you will get back all that was lost. Our two families will be reunited in friendship and family. We could start up a business like our forefathers had, and you will be successful and provide for your future generations. Does that sound better than what you’re proposing?” Dylan filled in.
This made sense to Mark and a light filled his eye’s and he looked so ashamed,
“I’m sorry to all of you, for generations the Cravens have grown up with a hatred for the Mc Fee’s and that almost cost us our daughter. I am such a fool, Lilly, Andrew and Dylan, please forgive me?”
Lilly and Andrew held one another and smiled,
“We forgive you dad” they both said in unison, smiling widely.
“I give you our blessing to be wed, I’m sure your mother would agree.” He shook Andrew’s hand and hugged his daughter tightly,
“I love you Lilly,” Mark said.
Dylan put his arm over Marks shoulders.
“Now lets go into my study and talk about possible business opportunities.” They both smiled as they walked into the study, Lilly kissed Andrew and Margaret hugged them both.
“I never thought I would ever see the day, the curse is hopefully lifted and, our families will be happy!” Margaret had a tear in her eye and was thinking about Trey, her beloved who was taken by the curse oh so long ago.
Lilly and Andrew got married and are expecting their first child.
On the day they got married something unexpected happened, Margaret died.
At first Margaret was frightened but she was grateful that she got to see her family at peace. Once death touched her, she tuned to her family…
“I love you all, be happy, all of you. Just know I am proud of all of you, and Dylan, I will be with your father, we will be watching over you.”
Then she vanished.
They mourned her but knew in their hearts that she is happy where she is.
About 9 months later Lilly gave birth to not just one baby but twins, a beautiful baby boy and a baby girl, Alexander and Cordelia Mc Fee.
Here are the cute little additions to the Mc Fee and Craven Family, they are the first Mc Fees and Cravens born in about 400 years that are free of the curse, it is finally broken….
And a few months later Mark and Dylan have opened the doors on the first of many toy stores. Everything is going wonderful for both families.
Note: I hope you enjoyed my story, i'm going to be writing more story's for you all to enjoy.

I just sat and read through the entire story, and I thought it was really good! :) It made me wish I had enough creativity to write a really good sims story!
25th Aug 2006, 11:52 PM
I loved it, I've read the whole thing through and I loved every single chapter. Your are so creative and the ideas were amazing. I reckon you should do a Spin Off to this story, it could be really great. A story about the next generation of the Mc Fee family what surprises they have in stall. Perhaps more of a happy story, I would love to see you write a happy story. Perhaps about some of thee other Lily/Andrew children, maybe siblings fighting over a man/women. But anyway as I said, do a Spin Off.
