I am going to post Round 2 Tasks early before the judging. If you feel confident that you are going to make it to this round, please feel free to start working on them. I am posting them early to give everyone some extra time to do some looking for outfits, backgrounds and research

-----------------------------Round 2 Tasks Due Tuesday July 3 3:00pm EST----------------------------

A limo awaits the girls who are staying at the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Miami. After a drive past beaches, fancy shops, and restaurants, they come to the South Beach Yacht Club where they see Layla surrounded by yachts of many sizes. Ladies today for your first task you will be doing a nautical photo shoot here at the glorious South Beach Yacht Club.

Ladies, Miami is getting involved in producing music. With an influx of big top music talent making Miami they winter residence, more and more recording production studios have come here. For your second task you will be doing a photo shoot for a CD cover. You will have input in the design and creation of the CD cover front and back. Each of you will be assigned a music genre.

Task 1
This week you will be doing a nautical photo shoot. In this photo shoot you will be posing at a location that has boats/nautical feel. You will be dressed in clothes that give a feeling of boating or being at sea (this usually associated with navy, white, red, and stripes) All About Style has some outfits that could be thought of as nautical in female casual and also, under themes in the 1940’s section. Your photo can be modern or you can go back in time in which if you wanted to make the photo look older you could use sephia coloring. Be creative, and feel free to use any objects to help give the feel of being on the sea.

Requirements:
- Nautical type outfits
- Can be set in modern times or back in time
- Make-up/Hair your choice
- Your expression can be joy, intense or fierce, just make sure you look beautiful.
- Poses should be full body or ¾ body (nothing higher then the thighs)
- Background should have something to do with boats, nautical, being at sea.
- You can be alone in this photo or have a male sim with you.
- Photoshopping is allowed except on the outfit and of course no simmerizing.

Task 2
You will be creating and posing for a CD cover. Each of you will be assigned a music genre. You will be creating a CD cover and what is called the inner CD sleeve (which is seen on the back of the CD package. Your CD design should reflect your music genre. The name of the CD, Artist, Tracks, Production Company is all left up to you to make up/create.
Examples of CD Design:

- Text on the CD design should be as follows:
On the cover – name of the CD, name of the Artist.
Back cover (inner CD sleeve) List tracks (you should have between 9-14), have Producer and Production Company names, needs a bar code….feel free to put production company logos or anything else you want, it is not required.

winner being able to choose which one they want)

Rock/Pop - Hannah, Nairobi, Heidi

Lol....I think Norah Jones would fit that but, the names that comes to my mind and this is going to age me lol is Billy Holiday, Janis Joplin, I think that Joss Stone first hit was blues base. Almost every group/singer has done a some blues, Eric Clapton etc.

I just did a search and any comtemporary R&B artist will fit the blues category. Example: Natalie Cole, Amy Winehouse, Cherish, Beyonce.

NOTE: For the Artist name you can either make up a name and have your model portary that person or you can actually use her name an she is the artist....you know models they are always trying to find a new way to get their faces in the public...lol.

Well, ladies we have made it through the first round and before me stand 17 beautiful, talent girls. The judges have looked at your photo shoots with a very tough and keen eye and each of you will hear some of their remarks. The judges scored on Task 1 & 2 but, commented on all three photos. As I look at the group shot, I see 17 ladies with a huge amount of potential and it saddens me to know that this time tomorrow there will be 4 less in that group pic. For those moving onto the next round, I want to congratulate you on making it this far and for the photos you did. The next rounds are going to be harder and more challenging…you need to look at the girl on each side of you and remember that, each of these girls are going to push themselves to improve so, that they are the ones moving on and you are the one going home next time. Lol…no pressure. For the four going home tonight, you all are beautiful, talented and have so much potential to become a top model. Remember, that you are leaving not because you did anything wrong, or were not good enough; it was just not your time or fate to be moving on at this time.

Layla: Your Task 1 photo shoot was your strongest – I think that everything fell in place nicely, the pose, outfit all wonderful. Task 2 photo shoot was fine but, the hair was just a little flat, it needed some highlights…it would have brought the eye to her beautiful face instead of away from it. One thing I would like to see is you looking more towards the camera, the head at an angle is great but, make it so more of your face at least ¾ of your face can be seen…that is what being a top model is about…contact with the camera. Good job but, I know you can do better.

Layla: I was torned between your two pics as to which one was your strongest, I would have to say it is Task 2 and it is for this reason…your pose and expression was fierce but, beautiful and good “top model” thing. I loved the background in your Task 1 photo but, the sunglasses put, me off…for top models sunglasses are great to wear in ads and on the beach. You did a very good job with no major errors or issues and you showed you had the potential to be a top model….next time just think it through when it comes to accessories.

Wowzerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr you guys!!!! Omg!!! The entries are blowing my mind they are so awesome!!! There are not enough adjectives to describe how terrific they are, you all deserve a huge pat on the back.

I do have one suggestion....please check your CD covers and make sure that the text on your cd covers can be easily read. I am sure that if the text is not easy to read it will be commented on.

I know that this has been an extremely hard and challenging round for you all and I do apoloize, I really did not mean for it to be that way, in the end I do hope that you have some fun in doing this round. I promise the next round will be easiler :).

If anyone needs an extension to finish up their pics or if they decide that they need to change or adjust their pictures, please do not hesitate to ask...we are doing excellent on time so an extension of a day or two will not hurt us in the upcoming rounds.

The girls are picked up at the airport in Range Rovers, after a long dusty and bumpy drive they come to a small tribal village. Layla is standing outside a set of buildings lots of shopping bags at her feet. “ Hello ladies, behind me are the tribal huts you will be staying in and around me is a bag of items that will make your stay here more comfortable. Not every shoot is all glamour, here you will find communal bathrooms that you will be sharing with the other female inhabitants of this village. Your beds are camping cots and your meals will be taken with one of the local families here. Please stay in the village and around your hut, there are wild animals around and some may visit the village at times. In the bag you will find bug spray, bottle water (there is more available), some mesquite netting plus some other things. Tomorrow morning I will give you, your assignments. Goodnight ladies have a restful sleep, I will be leaving now for my 5 star hotel and return in the morning…grins”

Task 1

This week you will be doing an Africa inspired D & G advertisement! In this advertisement you will be posing at an African location, so the background should reflect an African landscape or architecture. You will be naked and only posing with purses and another model. Your hair and make-up will reflect the tribal influences of Africa. You will not be alone you will be posing with another sim be it male or female. This ad needs to showcase you and the product (purses). It needs to be sexy, with the taste and feel of Africa. Be creative! Remember that Africa is a country with diversity, there are deserts, savannahs, jungles, coastlines, cities, tribal villages etc.

Requirements:

Hair – should be off the face, and have the effect of an afro, it does not need to be per say an afro, but, it should be full, curly, fuzzy…kind of untamed and wild, like the country you are reflecting.
Make-up – should be extreme and look tribal, it needs to be on your face but, you can cover parts of your body also.
Your expression should be sexy, intense…this is a country that people think of as sexy, wild, exotic….reflect that in your pose and expression.
Pose – full body or ¾ body. Need to be in a sexy pose with another sim (male or female) – Remember all the private parts and bits need to be covered in someway.
Outfit – Naked for all only accessory are purses (you can have one, or many)
Background – African landscape or architecture, there can be animals in the shot but, you need to interacting with your photo shoot partner and not the animals.
Text on the picture should have only Dolce and Gabbana.

Task 2

Congratulations! You’re finally becoming known to the public as a potential super model. Being new to the fashion/modeling industry, you are the paparazzi’s’ favorite subject; they are always hoping you’ll do something that’s worth making up a scandalous story over – and that they’ve caught it on film. Now that you’re in the public eye, it’s your job to make sure that you are always looking beautiful, and are never caught with a ‘scandalous’ photo but, there are just times when that is not possible. You will be assigned a location/situation where you were caught in a “scandalous” photo. You need to be creative with this photo shoot. How you react to the paparazzi is up to you…you can just let it happen and try to make the best of it or you can try to prevent them from seeing as much as they could and contain the situation. This is a very open assignment take the locations and situations and run with them and show us just how you would react to the situation.

1). On the street in a fashion “Don’t”, no make-up and hair that is a mess. - Haroz

2). Public Bathroom doing something you don’t want the public to see - Samantha

3). Car accident and it is your fault – (location your choice) - Nairobi

Layla: Both of your Task photo shoots were great, I would say that your Task 2 photo shoot was your strongest. I love the edginess of the cover, you put a lot of thought and detail into the cover and it shows. All though the producer and production company name are missing on the back cover. The outfit and poses scream rock star, I love it. Task 1 photo shoot is great, you accomplished something which is very hard…proportions. Haroz and the objects you chose are in great proportion to the boat, a very good job. Keep up the good work

Nairobi - Your score is 37.5 and you were a favorite for Task 2
Judge 1: Nairobi is absolutely stunning on the front cover. Her hair, her make up, just everything!
Judge 2: I hate the purse! I wish jaela would've have made that illegal. BUT!!! The pose is wonderful, and your album cover is especially top model material! Good job!
Layla: I look at your photo shoots for this round and I was a little disappointed, last round both your photo shoots were so strong and this round, I did not see that as much. I would have to say that Task 2 the CD cover is your strongest photo shoot. You really did a very good job on the cover, I like the wind blown hair and I liked the pose of her on the beach and the faded body shot of her on the back cover. I saw the production company name but, I did not see the producer name. Good job on the cover. Task 1 photo shoot is not terrible, for me all through I like the pose I really wished that her head had not been in that position but, more up right and without that hat, it would have made the pose not look so awkward for me. Will be looking forward to those strong photo shoots from you next round

Ebony - Your score was 36.5 and You were a Favorite for Task 1
Judge 1: Ebony is beautiful and I feel you could have should it more with the album.
Judge 2: When I look at your Task one photo, i get SEA SICK!! Oh and that is not a bad thing, btw. The angle of the boat and the angle of your pose is perfect. This is personally what i was looking for! OH and There is a smile behind that beautiful face!! Thanks for that. YOur album is scary, but nice. Glad to see a different side of you!
Layla: Last round you to me you had two solid photo shoots and it was hard for me to decide which one was the strongest. This round I do not have that problem…Task 2 is your strongest photo shoot, you are one gorgeous black mama! I think that you did a great job on this hip-hop CD cover, I love the “bling” of the font, and her pose and expression was perfect, it said to me, “I am nice but, don’t mess with me”. I did not see the producer name or the production company name on the back cover which was needed. Task 1 photo shoot was good nothing wrong with it but, Ebony just did not impress me as much as she did on the CD cover

Elizabeth - Your score was 34 and You were a Favorite for Task 1
Judge 1: The moment I saw Elizabeth’s nautical pose I immediately thought haute couture. She looks amazing
Judge 2: I like the serealness (is that a word) of your task one photo. The cd looks [almost]perfect, but I would have loved to see a different expression on the cover.
Layla: I was impressed this round, I saw improvement in your photo shoots. Last round you looked a little lost, this round I saw a beautiful woman who seems to have found that top model deep inside of her. I felt that your strongest photo shoot was Task 1 because of the pose and expression. The wind blown hair was a good touch and not over done like I have seen. It might be me but, Elizabeth looks a little bit more black and white compared to the sephia background. If that is the case it did not take away from the pic for me but, that is a detail you might want to think about next time. Keep up the great work and I will look forward to seeing your continuous improvement.

Sorscha - Your score was 33.9 and You were a Favorite for Task 2
Judge 1: I adore the album, both front and back. It is very appealing. It would easily catch the eye of someone wanting to buy a punk rock album.
Judge 2: I am not that happy with this rounds photos. Just because you won last round doesnt mean a thing. Task 1, looks like you are floating, and your shadow seems too unatural (you are beautiful and i love your expression though). Task 2, however is perfect, and i wouldnt mind listening to "To Hell and Back" Bring it next round though, that is if you are stil here
Layla: Both photo shoots were very good, you accomplished the tasks wonderfully. I would say that your strongest photo shoot was your Task 1 but, only by a small amount. I really liked the picture for Task 1, the background, outfit and accessories all were terrific. I really liked her pose and expression, I personally felt she looked very top model. For Task 2, you did an awesome job showing Sorscha as a punk rocker, the outfit, make-up and hair were right on. The background was great with faded imagines of her, the only negative thing I have to say about the cover is that the song titles on the back cover are hard to see and I can not tell if you have the producer and production company name on the back either. Keep up the good work

Illoana - Your score was 33.3
Judge 1: I love how it looks like you went back in time for your nautical photo. You look good doing it!
Judge 2: This is different from the rest in the aspect of background and clothing choice. You stepped outside the box and I am proud. Your cd, is also lovely
Layla: To me, you showed improvement this round, all through you still have that sweet and innocent look in your expressions…next round I would like to see the more edgy, sexy, fierce side of you, sweetness is great for commercial models but, a top model needs to have a more variety of expressions….I know you have it in you. I like the direction you went with Task 1 photo shoot, it is a great look and her outfit is perfect for the background. I like her pose but, I kept looking for what she is leaning against because that is the impression it gives me with her back arched backwards like that…don’t get me wrong it is a good pose, a post behind her would have just sold the pose for me. Task 2 photo shoot you did a great job with the CD cover, you put a lot of thought into it and it shows with the details you did. I have mixed feelings on what is your strongest photo shoot this round…I would have to say Task 2 because of the detail work you did on the cover.

Hayden - Your score was 28
Judge 1: Hayden is beautiful and you’re definitely showing off her full potential.
Judge 2: Task one is great, one of my favorites, however i would have loved have loved to see a serious/fierce expression. That would've have put the icing on the cake and would've gave you a perfect ten from me! Your album is great, i want to play the bongos now!
Layla: Great job! Both photo shoots were very strong for you in my eyes. I would say that Task 1 photo shoot was your strongest for the round. I say Task 1 because your pose and expression just said it all…it went so well with the background situation. When I looked at it I really felt myself tilting and surprised…lol. This is what top models do, they make the onlooker feel and you did that in this shoot. Your Task 2 cover was terrific everything on it just expressed reggae so well and I loved the pic of her on the back she looks beautiful, I truly can not find anything wrong with either of your shoots…In my eyes one very excellent job!

Faith - Your score was 26.5
Judge 1: Your nautical picture is stunning and I’m glad you used another person for the album cover.
Judge 2: Your pose is task one is too plain for me. And i am still trying to figure out what that is on your leg. A cigar? Anyways, I am definitely getting a latin vibe from your ablum. YOu are so hot, but be a little more creative with your poses next round.
Layla: This round I saw improvement in Faith’s photo shoots. Your strongest photo shoot was definitely Task 2 the CD cover. You did an outstanding job convening the sexy, hot feel of Latin music. You look hot and sultry in your poses and expressions for the cover. I did find the color of the font hard to see but, that is a small detail. Your Task 1 photo shoot was good just not as strong. Keep up the good work.

Samantha - Your score is 26
Judge 1: Samantha is pretty but the blues cover wasn’t exactly blues, to me.
Judge 2: It looks like the boat is about to sink. And i am not getting a nautical feel from this photo. More like a rich-person on a cruise feel. I do like your cd though. When does it come out?
Layla: I look back at the last rounds photo shoots and I say to my self “can this be the same girl?” What you did last round and what you have done this round are miles apart in my eyes….this round I see a potential top model before me. You really blew me away and surprised me with what you can do. Both of your photo shoots are great, I love the Task 1 pic; so, I am going to say that it is your strongest. Your expression and pose just cries out “top model”. Great job!!

Layla: You were one of my favorite last round, and this round you have not disappointed me. Your strongest photo shoot to me this round was Task 1. I really love everything about it. When I looked at her pose and expression I had to laugh…as I thought “oh gosh, leave it to a blonde model to be lost and trying to find the right boat”…lol…it was a good thing. Your Task 2 CD cover was great, you put in a lot of thought and detail, liked that her outfit reflected the title of the cover and her outfit and look was great, sexy, sultry, a true pop diva. One small detail…I saw the production company name but, not a producer name on the back cover. Good job this round.

Judge 1: Nautical is amazing. I love the army salute but I think you should have used color on the album.
Judge 2: Not top model at all. Just being honest. I loved you last round, but this is my least favorite entry. The pose in task one is great, but the background takes away from you. Also your cd cover/back is "okay" but honestly....its not the best
Layla: I was very impressed with the improvement I saw this round. Last round your inexperience showed but, this round you just slam dunked it when it came to looking experienced. Both photo shoots were very good but, I think that Task 2 photo shoot is very much your strongest. It is an outstanding CD cover, it is perfect, the title, songs, pose, expression is great and I like the all black and white cover…I would love to see more work like this from you. Your Task 1 photo shoot is good too, I love the pose very nautical, one small thing the hat looks a little too big for her head that is a small detail

Judge 2: I really that enthused (sp?) about your task one photo. Where are you standing on the boat? YOu are about to fall. I love the backside of your album, though. That kind of won you over for me
Layla: Your Task 2 photo shoot is definitely you’re strongest. I really liked the back cover especially; it conveys the title of the CD perfectly and her expression is fierce but, beautiful…great job on that and the thought and detail you put into it. Now, onto Task 1 photo shoot. I really loved the idea of a pirate theme for this shoot. This shoot just leaves me a little bit disappointed…if you are going to do a pirate theme then you need to really push it to the limit, her outfit and expression should have screamed pirate queen. The other thing is that the proportions are off. On ships the railing usually is at least waist high this ship’s railing reaches her knees. I see improvement in you, I just need to see more from you in the next round…I know you can do it.

Haroz gets to choose which location/situation she wants to do for Task 2 in Round 3 as soon as she has chosen, I will assign the other location/situations.
