Welcome future and recurring models to JW Modeling Agency Cycle 3: Friend Make-Over. For the past 2 cyles we have worked on beauty that was already there, so now it is time to switch it up and work on beauty that is hidden inside. So for the next 3 weeks, you all will be getting make-overs to support your beauty from underneath. So get your ladies and gentlemen, it is a new time for make-overs!

* Any type of sim is allowed to enter.
* Respect other's and their wishes. Do not be disrespectful!
* Follow all rules within this contest and forum. Last thing I would like to happen is suspensions from mods to be handed out.

Yes, Rachael has natural beauty so it wasn't hard to make her look glamorous.

I love the shimmering eyeshadow, it really shows off her eyes, and I love the understated stud earrings. But I like the dress best, it's colour looks great against her skin and it clings in all the right places!

It wasn't, actually. She has a very unique facial structure, and a very fine and flawless skin tone, but it was still very hard to find make-up and hairstyles that accommodated her exotic features. I think in the end, however, Rachael looked better than ever, and she had an amazing time!

Very much so! She was a perfect candidate for the style I was aiming for, and I couldn't be more amazed at how stunning she looked!

We decided to make her eyes the main attraction and used as little adornment as possible. Everything was simple yet classic and elegant. My goal was to make Rachael look like a goddess, a style that she was able to pull off with ease.

Rachael was very receptive to my suggestions- it made the look that I was trying to achieve with her both easy and fun.

Mia Robbins – I think you did a good job on her make-up to make her look glamorous but, not overdone, it really bought out her new eye color. I really think that ethnic women look more exotic with eyes that are not the usual deep brown. The area where I think you should have spent some time addressing was jewelry, glamorous always means to me luxurious make-up and jewelry.

Charlie Witmore - You did a good job on her make-up to make her look glamorous but, not overdone, it really bought out her new eye color and I love the glimmering shadows for nighttime. I really think that ethnic women look more exotic with eyes that are not the usual deep brown. Her gown is nice, sophisticated and elegant and she looks nice with her hair done up for the occasion.

Grey Falconer - For a make-over I thought you did a good job. The choice of gown was perfect; it is glamorous and brings out that beautiful skin tone. The jewelry and make-up do not overwhelm her instead enhance her natural beauty. The only thing that I can say I would have liked to see different was her hairstyle, it is kind of dated and really did not say glamour to me. I like that you wanted to give her maybe a more ethnic look but, I feel there were many more ways you could have gone to get that feel.

Jess Tolan - Excellent job! Love the new eye color, makes her more exotic looking. You did a wonderful job with her make-up, jewelry, hair and outfit, the whole package enhances her natural beauty. I can envision her walking down the red carpet and every one turning to look at her.

Alessia Moore - Excellent job, and I love that you decided to go with very short hair….it really brings out her facial features which are so beautiful and exotic. The make-up and outfit is terrific. Really can not find anything bad, if I would like to see something changed, it would probably be the background for the body shot. I like the idea of you using mannequins it is too bad they do not come with more glamorous outfits that is what I was looking for a background that matched her glamour. This is not a big or bad thing all and all you did a very good job.

Leona Goldy – Excellent entry. You have left me with nothing to say needs improvement. Everything the background, outfit, make-up and hair just enhances her beautiful in so many levels….great job!!!

Why did you choose the hair style?
Tess came to me with very short, very red hair. I thought a more flowing hairstyle was more becoming and feminine to Tess' features and personality (as I saw it). I toned down the red and gave her lots and lots of blonde highlights and of course those wonderful extensions.

Why did you choose her clothing style?
As soon as I saw Tess I thought self-assured and independent. Her outfit in the body shot is conservative but shows off her body as well. The neutral colors work well with her complexion and hair color. Her evening gown shows off her green eyes (I did add some red back into her hair for this shot) and I wanted her in very casual clothes for her confessional showing her versatility.

Explanation of the make-up choice.
I smoothed out her complexion taking some of the redness away but still leaving a few freckles peeking through. I wanted to concentrate on her beautiful green eyes so I used more makeup on her eyes and just kept her lips neutral and shiny.

Tell us about her facial structure.
Tess' face is just about perfect to work with. I did want to add some volume in her cheeks which is why I chose fuller hairstyles. Her eyes are her most compelling feature and I chose to highlight them the most.

Why did you choose the hair style?
Shawn came with a ponytail but I have a great eyes for noticing great features and Shawn has gorgeous deep black hair.
I chose an asymmetric hair cut to add interest and live up her style.
I kept her hair long enough though in case she wanted to go out on night. A simple-yet-sophisticated updo will flatter her figure.

Why did you choose her clothing style?
As soon as I saw her I wanted to go with a chic and classy style.

Explanation of the make-up choice.
Shawn's previous make-up choice wasn't that great.
I chose to bring attention to her full lips by using a warm lipstick and I just added a touch of mascara for her eyes.
At night I went for a more glamorous make-up by using dark red lipstick.

Tell us about her facial structure.
Shawn has fortunately great features such as a medium skin tone, almond eyes and full lips. I like to made her over.

- Why did you choose the hair style?

She has beautiful, long red hair which we wanted to keep so for the makeover shot we put it up to show off her tapering jawline and elegant neck.

- Why did you choose her clothing style?

Taryn seems like a pretty kunky person so I didn't want to go to formal. I chose a flowing silk top in blues and greens with gold trim which perfectly set off her red hair and grey eyes. For her free shot we went totally the other direction, giving her hair lots of volume and giving her a lick glamourous look which she pulled off beautifully.

- Explaination of the make-up choice.

Taryn has fair skin so for her close-up we just used a hint of blush and used brown and bronzes to bring out her eyes and lips. Then we outlined her eyes with black liner to give them definition. She's naturally pretty so as long as we stayed away from pinks she could just aabout wear anything.

- Tell us about her facial structure.

She has got a great bone structure, especially her jawline. Her only weak point were her lips, she has a thinner top lip so we found that light colours didn't looks good on her, but we think she looks great in the colours we chose for her.

I chose this hair style because I thought it was an easy flirty, I'm-going-shopping sortof hairstyle.

I chose this clothing style because it's very simple yet still looks nice. And she can pull if off in an elegant way...

Well, I actually found it hard to choose make-up for this sim. She has very dominent features that are almost masculine. I chose a partly dark eye with a nude lip so she didn't look like an OTT fool. And a too dark blush wouldn't suit her so I went for a lighter shade.

Like I said before, her features were very masculine. Her chin sort of juts out and I love the shape of her eyes.

I chose the long straight hairstyle as it mimics the shape and contours of
Joelle's face.
For the free shot, I wanted to enhance her classic beauty
with a classically elegant, romantic up-do.

- Why did you choose her clothing style?
I chose that particular style of clothing for Joelle as it is very versatile.
It's sexy, yet professional- perfect for the office. With the addition of a few
accessories, it can carry on into the evening for a night on the town.
For the free shot, I chose a simple silk nightgown to play up her feminine

Joelle has a very warm, bronzed skin tone. Lighter colors do not suit her
skin and tend to make her look over-done. I went with a darker,
yet still warm palette for her cheeks and lips.

Her face is a classic oval shape. She has a high pronounced forehead and
cheekbones to die for. Her chin is a little on the weak side, but her gorgeous

Jess (pors) – A great job with Jess’s makeover. There are only a few things that I would suggest when working with green-deep set eyes, facial shape, and skin tone. I thought that the lipstick you chose was perfect for her personality, skin tone and hair color. Her eyes to me are deep set and dark shadows make the eyes appear to recede, where a lighter color of shadow makes them stand out more. The perfect color for green eyes are pinks/mauves those colors enhance. You made the perfect choice in lengthen her hair, with her facial structure it is perfect and matches her personality. Your choice of color and style is wonderful for her.

Leona/Essa – An excellent job!! There is nothing I would change on this make-over. Leona is lucky to have big brown eyes in which any color shadow will enhance and I love that you made her lips a deeper shade in her evening make-up…it gives the illusion of lighter shade of brown for her eyes, by pulling the focus from the eyes to the lips. This is a nice touch in making her dark brown eyes stand out in the night time hours.

Charlie/Joelle/megativity - Good job on this make-over! I found that the choices you decided on were very well thought out and works perfectly. I thought it was excellent that you were aware of her weak chin and over came that with using a stronger color of lipstick to bring the eye to her full gorgeous mouth. Because of her skin tone she can wear stronger colors in make-up and you worked with that…excellent. The only thing that I would have like to see was a different wardrobe. You were most definitely going in the right direction with thinking about her classic beauty. I thought the outfits were a little on the dull and mature side and with her skin tone and body I would have liked to have seen her in a classic wardrobe but, more vibrate and youthful.

Jess/Taryn/romyhouse – An excellent job!! There is nothing I would change on this make-over. Taryn has the perfect girl next door look and you enhanced that look and did not make the mistake of taking away from that…excellent! I feel your choice of make-up, hair, and outfits were perfect for the look you were going for. I really liked the idea that you made her look glamorous but, used an outfit that was young feeling and hip, the sunglasses with the full hair was a nice touch.

Leona/Mia/cassieandra – Hmmmmmmm, I found some hits and misses with your make-over. I thought that your choice for hairstyle was a good choice for her diamond shape face. The outfit you choice in the body shot was perfect and something I could see her wearing and turning eyes. Now, the misses…her make-up to me made her look tough and cheap…as you mentioned she has strong features, I would have like to have seen her with lighter more natural colors…giving her a more professional, fresh look. The outfit in the free shot, was a missed for me…I know you wanted to show the classic side of her, I think that a nice professional/youthful dress would have done that better. All in all a good make-over which needs just a little bit of fine tuning.

I've opened my own studio in Bluewater Village. I intend to expand my make-over portfolio to attract some high level clients over the next year. Once that is accomplished, my goal is to stop red carpet tragedies.

All of the girls have been quite beautiful. If I had to chose one to
perform surgery on, I'd have to say Brandy Broke. Her nose is just
way too small compared to her other facial features.

I would love to continue giving people make-overs because I love seeing theirfaces once you have finished with them. They are always so grateful. That's one thing I have really enjoyed about this job. I have been thinking about having my own business but I haven't confirmed anything yet. ^_~

Um, I don't think I would've given plastic surgery to any of them. They all had their own special things about their face and I think I played up their assests and covered the not so good things.

Yes! I had so much fun. If I don't come a place for this cycle I will still be happy with what I have achieved this cycle. This was a big first for me. I enjoyed the fact there were no eliminations so it has been my first time in a final round.

Well, as I'm already a Beauty Therapist, I'd like to use the experience and connections I've made to open up a chain (eventually) of my own Beauty Therapy Studios. It will be hard work but I'm ready for it.

2) Looking back on all your clients, who was the only one you wish to have given plastic surgery to?

Wow! That's a tricky question as all the ladies I gave a makeover too were very beautiful. I suppose if I had to choose one it would be Taryn, she could have done with some collagen in her lips! But they were all naturally beautiful and none of them needed any plastic surgery.

3) Leaving this Make-Over Company, what do you expect out of all future make over artists wanting something in this world.

Work hard and try to gain as much experience as you can.

1) Did you have fun this cycle?

Yes, I had lots of fun. Makeovers are great fun, it's great to take someone a bit plain and make them pretty with just a new haircut and a bit of make-up.

This is going to sound like I'm a poor loser but how come for every round I was always scored last? I worked my butt off on most of those pics and yet everyone else was given so many more points than me. Were my pics that bad a quality because I thought I did well... And congrats again to Essa.
