My mother just passed away a few weeks ago so I'm just coping with it. I can't get along with people as well as others, in fact many have said I'm a bit of a bitch-head, but I'm okay with it.

Why do you want to become a model? I'm an only child, and I can't really support my father with the meager sums I make as a waitress! My father has numerous medical conditions, and they are getting worst with time.

Josephine walked slowly towards the group of ladies, smiling. She sensed that some were quite nervous, others excited.
“Hello, ladies! Welcome to America’s Next Top Model: the Roleplay. As you may know already, my name is Josephine Kent, and I will be your host for this competition. Are you all excited?” she paused for then reaction, and then continued, smiling.
“Right. Now, you will all be staying at a house exclusively set up for you! When you get there, you will unpack, and meet me back at what will become the Judging Room. There, I will let you know of your Weekly Challenge. Sound good? Okay, now get ready!” Josephine turned around, and tossed a set of keys into the air behind her.

((OOC: Whoever reads and replies to this post first gets to catch the key! Also, from now on, I will randomly select one of you to read out the JoMail. I will send this to you through PM, and details will be given out then!))

LET THE ROLEPLAYING BEGIN!!!

Yasmine stood next to all the beautiful girls almost trembling. She was so nervous. "These girls are so beautiful", she thought. She stood there listening to Josephine quietly waiting on instructions on what to do. She couldn't wait to see where they would be staying.
Josephine tossed the set of keys in the air and Yasmin saw that they were coming directly toward her way. "Oh my gosh. Should i catch them? I know the girls will be so jealous". she thought. As they got closer to her she decided to reach up and grab them. "Yes! i caught them", she thought. The girls all looked at her with jealous eyes. She knew that would happen but oh well who cares. Yasmin got the key and thats all that matters!

Alice bit her lip, raising her eyebrows in a smile. They were finally at the house. She had finally made it! She backed away from the keys being thrown, as she didn't feel like throwing herself on them just to be the first one in house. She'd much rather be the last one left than the first one in the house. A girl named Yasmine caught them, and she noticed the other girls give her looks. Alice would have rolled her big bright green eyes, but she was too excited about where she was, and what she was going to do here.

Alice walked over to Yasmine and smiled friendily at her. She didn't want her to stick with the assumption that all girls were bitches. "Hey, I'm Alice...Yasmine, right?"

bailey looked up at yasmin and smiled and her heart raced as she waited for her to open the door she stared around and realised she was the least beautiful she was squished up at the back i her charity shop gear surrounded by amazing beautys inchs taller and thinner "for god sakes girl" she thought to herself "you anit gonna get very far thinking like this" she picked herself up stood strong and screamed "race you to the door" she wasnt gonna get herself down she knew it was time to enjoy herself

Hey Bailey, Simone calmly said. Being intimidated was an understatement! There were these statuesque girls, and Simone had stubby little legs compared to these girls! So, she decided to do what she would normally do, trash-talk.

She wasnt confident but wasnt going to let simone get her down, hey simone i dont think weve been introduced, she smiled holding out her hand. Wow i looove your dress i had one like it ages ago walmart isnt it, she walked away and giggled. im nice as pie if you treat me right but if your a cow ill give good as i get she thought. For some strange reason simones comment made her feel more confident she realised all the girls were feeling just how she was.

Simone immediately ran to the other beds, which...you guessed it, already was taken. "GOD. Why did I have to choose the bed....why, huh, why?"

Yasmin and Alice finished unpacking there things and went downstairs to see what was goin on with the rest of the girls. This chick name Bailey announced that she wanted to have a runway contest. Yasmin immediately ran upstairs and got her heels. "I think i have a pretty good walk", Yasmin thought. A few of the other girls strutted their stuff down the runway so now it was Yasmin's turn. She got up there and gave nothing but a walk full of attitude. "Oh yes. I got this in the bag she thought," She came to the end of the runway and posed. She saw that her room mate Alice was cheering for her. As Yasmin goes to turn around to walk back she trips and Wam! she hits the runway. "OMG! This is so embarrasing", she thought. All the girls were just staring at her. She gets up and walks off the runway fast...

Simone laughed, more like guffawed at Yasmin, and tripped over her in the midst of her laughter. You could hardly tell these two were 'models'!

London ran her perfectly manicured hand through her platinum-blonde hair and clacked her high-heeled way to her bed, the only one left. She was in the same room as Bailey and gave her a knowing smile. Unpacking all her brand clothes in neat piles on her bed. She was wearing Prada tracksuit pants in charcoal with a short leather jacket over her favourite Chloe tee. London placed her six pairs of shoes in a neat little line at the end of her single bed and turned her attention to the majority of the girls (or so it seemed). Silently, she gave everyone a small smile. The last thing she wanted was to make enemies. She had already scoped out one girl, who seemed like the kind of girl she had avoided throughout high school.

"Hey, I'm London. And I hate pink." Her accent was tinted slightly Texan, but it was plainly obvious she was trying to cover it up. She gave a small laugh. "You want me to walk?" She blushed. This was quickly turning to her worst nightmare. There were two problems in this situation. She could either be very good at it and be forever considered a threat, or she could walk very badly and ridiculed by the gang.

London immediately pasted her default pout on and raised her chin slightly, and strutted from the beggining of the catwalk to the end, doing a little turn before walking back. When she was done she broke into a fit of giggles and kicked someone's socks out of her way.

"You're really...really good!" She exclaimed. "Three legged frog, my eye." She winked and got up. She saw someone move along the hall from the blue room and couldn't help but feel sick. Yet another beautiful girl.
"I'm gonna raid the kitchen, see if there's any alcohol. I could really do with a glass of red. Wanna come with?" She asked Bailey. She hoped to God there was some liquor in this house.

Olivia slowly opened the doors to what could potentially be her future. Inside she saw some of the most gorgeous women she had ever seen in her life. An instand rush of butterflies formed in the pit of her stomach, making her worry if she was going to make it past the first round or not.

Olivia casually walked towards the blue room and set her belongings outside the door, then made her way to the lounge. She held her breath then calmly let it out. She didn't know quite exactaly what to expect....she had seen many things on the show, but she didn't know what would happen when it became her reality. Olivia then took a seat next to a brunette girl on the couch and briefly smiled.

"I'm Olivia Cooper." she extended her arm for the beautiful woman to take. "And you are?" Olivia was worried what the girl would think of her, randomly saying hello. Everybody here was compitition, but there was no need to be making enimies at an early start.

London giggled when they reached the kitchen and discovered the Liquor Cabinet, which would become her favourite location in the whole house.

Her haven, her paradis et joie. She thought with a small laugh.

"Yay! Girls, we have alcohol!" She called out. She pulled the glass door open and poured two glasses of red wine out, one for herself and one for Bailey, and clinked her glass against hers, followed by a sip.

"I wonder if we have a spa..." She smiled. "This place is the fricking Hilton!"

Olivia heard the word alcohol and rushed over to where another beauty in the house was standing, with a skinny wine glass in her hand.

"Hm...what do you have there." she tried to read the label on the bottle, but she couldn't make it out, due to the fact she was a tad bit jet lagged. "Looks yummy." she pulled a shot glass down from the cabnit. "Hi I'm Olivia Cooper." she poured some of the strong liquid into the glass and chugged it down. At once she knew she had just swallowed whisky, due to the fact her throat was now burning. Choaking a couple of times she managed to spit out a few more words. "What's your *sputter* name?" she was surprised she could get those words out. Again she extended her arm out to another woman.

"So what do you think of the house so far?" She said amuzingly watching as the wine poured into her glass, she knew she had to have looked like some crazy alcoholic at that moment.

"I'm up for a little T and D--or Never Have I Ever." She swayed her hips slightly to the music, bringing her third glass over to Bailey. "Olivia, are you in?"

"Hell yes I'm in!" Olivia then slid into the Lounge and plopped down on a rather large couch.

A tall, red-haired woman appeared from the arched doorway. She had creamy skin and a huge smile on her face. Sitting down on the sofa, she crossed her long legs and started talking excitedly.

“Hello, ladies!” she greeted them.

“Welcome to your very first challenge!
There are a few tasks for you, so listen carefully.
Throughout this competition, there will always be a Tiny Task, a mini-challenge for you to complete anytime during the week, until your main photos are due. We will also tell you your main task at the start of the week, and this is to be handed in as you finish.”

Josephine pulled out both hands, and started crossing things off her finger as she continued.

“One, you must write and present to the judges ((OOC: This means RP the scene; I added this because then you can do tears, poses, dances, and mistakes, whatever.)) a short speech about your life, and why you want to become America’s Next Top Model. You will also be sent individual questions about you, and you should answer them also.
Then, you will be asked to hand in two photos.”

Josephine looked around at the girls one by one as she spoke. Using expressive body language, she carried on.

“Photo One: A small and simple headshot, without make-up. This will be used further on, to compare your before-and-after looks. Plain background, please.

Photo Two: Try to express yourselves in this photo and using the right background, props, make-up and clothes, the judges and I should clearly see what kind of girl you are. This should be a full Bodyshot, and include no other models.”

Taking a breath, she smiled once again and ended her little speech.

“Okay, so that’s what your challenge is for this week! Have fun, with it, i'll see you at the Judging Room again later on! Both the Tiny Task and the Main Photoshoot counts so get out there and get modeling! Oh, and one more thing, there are no eliminations this week, so relax.”

Having finished her little speech, she decided to go back to their house and stay for a little while and get to know the girls. ((OOC: Mwahaha I’m coming to haunt you! Okay, so you guys coming to meet Josephine and everything went kindah zoo-y. Oh, well. Good enough!))

When Olivia was preparing to hear the words of her dare a girl blurted out "RUN NAKED IN THE HOUSE!" Olivia nearly dropped her wine glass, since the sudden words made her jump. Her hands started to quiver, that's somethign that she didn't want to do...not because it wasn't appropriate, but because it could ruin her chances at winning the competition.

Baily then stopped these thoughts and said "I have a good one I'll make them quite easy to start with im not that mean, right then I dare you to 'borrow' someones pj's and wear them until they realize" Olivia was relieved to hear that it wasn't something that could dramatically hurt her career in the long end.

"Ok you've got a deal." Olivia crept up the stairs and walked into a random bedroom, snatched up somebodies suitcase and slipped out of her designer clothes, then into the Pj's that she was supposivly borrowing. She already knew what witty remark she would say once the owner discovered her in these babies.

Olivia crept back down the stairs, glanced at the girls and laughed "There I did it..now who's pj's are these...because i'm keeping them!" she slid down the railing and sat back on the couch.

After being informed the challenge, she offered Josephine a spot in their game. "Do you want to join?" She asked kindly, patting the spot on the lounge next to her. "We're...getting to know eachother." London laughed. She watched Olivia return and rolled her eyes. She's wearing my PJs!
"I'll be right back." She told the other girls and ran into Olivia's room, recognising something of hers. She grabbed her PJs and threw them onto her own bed.

After sorting some things out with her manager and driver, Josephine headed back towards the house.
She saw girls with glasses of wine, and one in pyjamas(?!), and the rest looking rather normal.

"Hey, everyone! What are you guys up to? I thought i'd come and say hello. How do you like the house, girls?" she started, smiling brightly.

"Hey Josephine! We love the house, absolutely love it!" Simone kissed up to Josephine.

After coming downstairs and listening to what Josephine had to say, Yasmin was very excited. "I hope my photos turn out good and i can show the judges who i am", she thought. She was so glad she was not tipsy or drunk like the other girls. Yasmin sat down on the sofa with the other girls close to Josephine. She just sat there staring for a minute because she couldn't believe how down to earth and friendly Josephine was..."Yasmin open your mouth and say something. Just say something", she thought to herself but nothing would come out at the moment....

Olivia was in love with the Pj's that she had slipped on...or as it the wine making her think that way. Either way the Pj's were from Victoria's Secret, only the best lingerie makers in the world.

Josephine sat down next to Olivia and she smiled at her. "Oh nothing, were just sitting here enjoying a nice glass of wine, and playing the ever so popular childhood game of Truth and Dare." she offered Josephine a sip of her wine, trying to be as welcoming and thankful as possible. "I must say, thank you for allowing me to have this expierence."

Simone pushed Yasmin out of the way, and said "All about me, huh?" Josephine ignored Simone and asked Yasmin a question.

London gave Olivia a nudge with her elbow and pointed at Simone.
"Yeah, this place is really neat...especially the wiiiine." She waved her fourth glass at Josephine and smiled. "What number drink are you on, Bailey m'dear?"

Josephine smiled at the other girls.
"I'm glad to hear that you like the house!" then, turning to the rather tipsy ladies, she laughed and said "I see you've found the wine! I always enjoy some, too. Just make sure you don't go overboard. And how are you all getting along?" she paused, then suddenly remembering, shouted "Truth!"

Bailey smiled, "I don't drink."
Simone joked "unlike a boozebag I know..."
Bailey gave Simone a good nudge on the shoulder, and Simone stayed quiet...for awhile.
Simone smirked, "Lighten up! I have a sense of humour, you know."

Olivia felt London gently nudge her on her ribs before pointing to Simone. Olivia glanced at her and began to chuckle.

Catching her breath she murmored "You know London, I think were going to make amazing friends." She looked at London's clothing "hey are those my pj's"she paused then let out a string of unstoppable laughter.

She laughed at Olivia. "Yeah. And those," She poked her, "are mine. You can have them."
London huffed at Simone's latest comment and stood up. "Yeah, one loving family. Speaking of family, I should call mine." She stumbled down the hall to the Phone room and dialled her brother's number.
"Hey, bro." She spoke when he picked up. "I got here alright."
"How are you? You sound drunk."
"I am. I miss you all already." She held the reciever closely to her ear.
"Yeah, I love you too." He joked.
"Man, there's this one girl who's horrible to me." London sighed.
"You've only been there a couple hours, London."
"I guess. Anyway, just wanted to tell you that my plane didn't crash or anything."
"Glad it didn't. I'll see you after you win, alright?"
She laughed and hung up the phone. London was really close to her twin and this would be the longest they've been apart.

Josephine laughed along. "So, this is how the house runs, eh? I'm ready for the game! Truth."
"Oh, and i'm very glad that you have made friends. I know that you have contrasting personalities, and VERY different backgrounds, but please do respect each other and have some fun. K?"

Josephine looked slightly amused, but tried not to show it too much. On the other hand, she was a little concerned. The girls had only been here for a few hours, and yet were already having ups and down. 'Must be the wine', she though to herself.

London began to laugh at Olivia's comment. "Yeah. And those," She playfully poked Oliva, "are mine. You can have them." Olivia gazed down at the hot pink satin pj's that had to have costed a fortune.

"Are you serious?" she examined them in excitement. "Then that means you may keep mine, it's only a fair trade. So erm..who were you talking to on the phone." she giggled..she knew the wine was just begining to settle in her blood stream and make her act a tad bit more crazy then she already was.

"My twin brother. Just wanted to inform him I was alive...which seems pretty stupid considering we're on International television." She laughed at how tipsy Olivia was.

Bailey dragged her over to Josephine and she flashed the host a beautiful smile, teeth and all.

Simone sulked away in a corner, and thought to herself; "These girls are so commercial. America's Next Top Model isn't! Whatever, I'm gonna bring it, and anyone who tries to get in my way is so dead, especially that Yasmin girl!"

While the others had their own conversations, Josephine decided to just settle in and not do the group-talk thing. She turned to the girl next to her.
"You must be Bailey.. right? Well, actually i've always wanted to become a model. I was raised in a pretty good family, but really didn't think of Modelling much once i grew up. I thought it was a bit far-fetched. But one of my close friends were in the Fashion industry, and suggested i continue with my childhood dreams. And so i did, and you will never guess the things i went through. But people helped me throughout, and one day, they decided i was good enough. So i landed some jobs!" she explained.

Listening to Josephine talking to Bailey made Simone seething. That should be me! Simone thought, and walked over to Josephine and Bailey. She sat down and eavesdropped on their conversation.

Olivia stared into the bottom of her emptied wine glass. That was enough for tonight, she had already gone one drink over her regular limit. She stretched out her legs, the crossed them on her lap and rested her head on the side of the couch gazing at a girl sitting across from her.

"Hey your ssssoooo prethy" her words were beginging to slur. "Wash slor nameh" she couldn't control herself, she was starting to sound like a five year old with a terrible lisp. "My nameh ish Oliv-iea Coooooo-oo-oo-per" she extended the o's in her last name, making her sound even more drunk.

Josephine glanced at London.
"So tell me more about before you came here." she asked.
She was about to tune back into her conversation with the girls, but she heard something.

Josephine looked worriedly at her. 'Gee, i hope she doesn't risk it. I'm pretty okay with drinking, but i should talk to her soon about this.' she thought. She silently watched as a girl called Simone picked up the heavily drunk girl out of the room. Then, she turned back to the girls she was talking to before.

Simone saw Olivia was drunk. Really plastered. So, in an attempt to look good in front of Josephine, she loudly said: "WOW! You're drunk! Let me carry you back to your room!" in obviously false tones.

Simone struggled to carry Olivia with her noodle arms, but it'll make her look good! she thought.

"Me?" She pointed to herself. "Well, I started moving from agency to agency when I moved out from home, but I kept getting either rejected because I have no "previous experience" or double crossed." London sighed and looked over at Simone. "You're going to break your arms." She raised a brow.

"Umm, excuse me, think about others before your...umm, like self. That's what my mother always told me." Simone smirked.

"Well, well, it looks to me like you've never followed that advice until now..." London muttered.

Simone finally carried Olivia back to her room.

"Say, you don't have a roommate, do you? Your room is nice, much nicer than that pink monstrosity I'm in now." Simone asked, hoping for a place in the Blue room.

Olivia was starting to be carried off by somebody she had not yet gotten the chance to meet. In a panic she attempted to calmly get the girl off of her.

"NO! Really I'm sokay." she gently pulled the girls arm off of her. "No need to shry and be a kish ash aroundth Josie." she then slapped her hand over her mouth. She may have been drunk, but she caught the words she had said. Olivia didn't mean what she said, but she didn't like being pulled around by other people; she was fully capable of getting herself to bed when she was good and ready.

"Serioshly I can cara for my selshf." she then fell onto the couch and shut her eye lids. "I'm sorry fora whthat I thaid, but I thate behin pullthed around." she glanced back up at the girl who had to have been infuriated, with what Olivia just said. "I donth need eni-" she couldn't remember the rest of the world. "I donth want pethople hathin me!" she then gave the Simone an appologetic look remembering what she had asked about the room mate "No I donth hath a room mathe yet. Wanth to be myne?" she despiratly wished the alcohal hadn't spoken for her minutes before, so she was trying as hard as she could to make things better.

Simone had a soft spot for Olivia now, "My my, how's this girl gonna survive?" she thought.

"Let me get a pillow for ya, s'least I can do after asking you to go nekkid, right?" Simone cringed. She had never been nice before.

Josephine frowned slightly, and checked the time.
Turning to the group of girls, she announced,
"Okay, everyone! I have to go now, but have fun, and don't let your room-mate drink too much wine." she winked. "It's really been awesome seeing all of you, and talking to you guys. So see you soon!" Jo stood up, and went back to her car, blowing kisses. 'Such sweet girls, i'm going to get a pretty good Model out of this bunch!' she thought, before climbing into her sleek black ride.

Olivia gazed up at her new room mate as she suddenly spoke. "Olivia I need to talk to you." Olivia curiously replied to her. "Yes Simmoonne" she had fun pronouncing her name, since it was so unique.

London stood up and gave Josephine a small wave.
"I should probably go to bed, it's been a long flight and I'm admittedly drunk." She told the group. She padded off to the Pink Room and placed her shoes in the row with the rest. She laughed at the fact that she didn't need to get into pyjamas because her and Olivia had switched. She missed her Victoria Secret's but liked the comfy feel of her "new" ones. She untucked the bed and flopped onto it, not bothering to turn off the lights in case Bailey decided to turn in early, too. London noted that Simone had cleared out and for that she was glad. She got up again and headed to the en suite bathroom, setting up her toiletries neatly on one side of the sink. She rubbed of her makeup and brushed her teeth, then went to bed, falling asleep almost immediately, her last thoughts about the friends...and enemies...that she had made in a few measly hours.

Simone looked at the bed, wondering: "Should I do this, or not?" She finally decided to tell someone.

"Well, yasee, my family was very, very traditional. But I, was a lesbian. And my mom and dad didn't approve, so they just told me to shut up and keep my feelings bottled in no matter what, and that is why I am such a bitch today. They wanted me to get married, like all the other Novas." Simone sighed. "You're gonna make fun of me like my cousins now, right? Gonna tell the other girls?"

Simone cried for a bit.

Olivia gazed up at Simone wide eyed, she had never been friends with a girl who liked girls, and quite frankly it didn't bother her.

"Oh corsh not! I hath plenthy homosesual frienths." Olivia crossed the room and gave Simone a warm hug, letting her know that she would never make fun of her, because the way she was. "No worriths" she softly smiled, and pulled back the blankets of her bed.

"Oh and your seecrets safe wif me!" he words were still horribly slurring and she knew if she didn't get to bed soon it would only get worse. "Goood nithe Simone" she smiled as she turned off the light and retired to bed.

Simone was glad to have a friend in the house, and was glad it was Olivia, her only roommate. It was hard opening up to someone, especially because she had already gained a bad rep with most of the girls.

Simone couldn't sleep. She headed to the kitchen for some warm milk to soothe her nerves. "I wonder where all the girls are. Surely I'm not the only one who can't sleep."

London jolted awake a little while after Bailey went to bed. She heard someone in the kitchen and was surprised to discover it was Simone.
"Hey." She smiled awkwardly and sat herself on the kitchen bench. "I'm not sure we've been properly introduced."

Simone turned around to find London, and was a bit shocked, and accidentally spilled some milk, "Hey London, didn't 'spect to see you here, at this hour! Wanna glass of warm...milk?" lifting up her milk-stained hand.

Simone then introduced herself to London, "So I'm Simone, resident bitch, and I'm here to win! I was supposed to be your roomie but I jumped ship with Olivia, so you'll have an empty bed unless someone comes and takes it."

London came off as nice, polite and charming. Nice, but I'll have to watch out for her and Bailey. They're both stunners. she thought.

"Well, I think this challenge is great. Really simple and easy."

"Great, I mean, who knows more about you than yourself? Easy. But I'm afraid they may get harder..." Simone muttered, "And there's some TOUGH competition here! Yasmin, Gabby, Sheena, Olivia and Alice are fierce!"

Simone proceeded to raid the fridge, and came back with some Cheetos.

"Chips, laydeez? They're Cheetos!" Simone joked. It was nice to be nice, for once.

"Yasmin seems to be an each-man-for-himself kind of girl." She notified and shook her head at the Cheetos offering. "I haven't met Gabby, Sheena or Alice yet...or maybe I have and was too drunk to remember..."

"I'm exhausted now, but thanks for chatting with me, guys. Gonna hit the sack...Bailey, I know you love Cheetos so you can have them," Simone yawned and headed to the Blue Room.

"Dad? This is Simone. Yeah, I miss you."

"Well, I don't! What the hell were you doing telling people you were a lesbian on TV? I thought your mother and I raised you better...we're the laughing stock now!"

Simone slammed down the phone. She was upset, but she wasn't upset about herself, she was upset about how her father reacted, she thought to herself, "I should have known better, Dad never changed, I don't see why I'm still doing this for him to pay for the bills!" She decided to check whether Bailey and London were still awake.

"Guys? Are you awake?"

Alice sat in bed staring at the ceiling. She looked around, and not being able to sleep, got out of bed, wearing her tank top and shorts. She was the thinnest girl here, she knew. She also knew she was the most high fashion, not always the best thing. After all, this was Covergirl. Alice shrugged and, putting her long hair into a ponytail, went out to the runway, and walked. She was a very good walker, with long steps, piercing eyes, and perfect posture. People had told her she looked like a real model when she walked, which led many to the question why she had been in the show in the first place. She had answered 'I want to live like a model, and if I win a contract, that's cool too'.

"Damnit! No one's awake..." Simone said, banging the walls.

"Keep it down!" Alice shouted from the runway.

"OOH...someone's awake!" Simone was pleasantly surprised.

Alice heard banging on the walls, and said in a loud whisper, 'keep it down!' She then heard footsteps, but continued walking. She tried crossing her arms when she walked. Simone looked at her oddly. "Oh, sometimes your arms or other body parts are restricted in high fashion shows."

Alice laughed. "No...and believe me, I've tried gaining some weight...it doesn't work too well." She made a sandwich for herself, eating it in small amounts, walking around the kitchen. She didn't want to tell the girls about her past illness. She didn't want to look weak or be pitied. Alice knew that the important thing was that she lived through it.

She walked back over to Simone, who was posing what she thought was high fashion. "Want to practice posing?" She asked her.

"Sure, but I'll warn you first. I fall down in anything that involves heels!" Simone joked. She was still seething about the phone call, but Alice didn't deserved to be bitched on.

"Okay." Alice said. "Um, you know that basic high fashion pose? Like..." she hunched over, twisted her hands, and put them on her hips. "This? I try to avoid it. It's way too expected for photographers." She added. "I like jumping and stuff."


Alice looked at the runway, and then saw a table.

"Hey, look! A camera. Want to take some high fashion model photographs?" She said in a french accent (she took french in high school) and grabbed the camera. "Like grown-up dress up. We can do the whole 'we're both really great models but we can work together for a vogue cover."

Simone laughed at the idea of doing silly things and being considered High Fashion, but hey, have fun and get paid, right?

"High Fashion...that's a funny phrase. Wanna see my best Kate Moss impression?" Simone said, while sucking in her cheeks. She started giving really silly poses, while Alice would be doing REAL High Fashion poses.

Alice laughed at Simone's Kate Moss impression. She then found a tripod, a self timer, a makeup kit, and two bright dresses. She did hers and Simone's high fashion makeup, and put on a dress. "Let's try counter-balancing. We link arms, but our backs face eachother, not both arms, and do something high fashion with our legs and free arm. Like....hold an apple." She said, grabbing an apple and handing Simone an orange. "Apples or oranges?" She said with a cheeky expression.

"Orange, please. They're tastier!" Simone declared. She tried her best to fake a High Fashion pose but found her self teetering over her heels and messing up her make-up.

"When do we say cheese?" finally, Simone finally got a pose that looked moderately High Fashion.

Alice waited for Simone to get her pose and faced the camera, pressing the timer button with her shoe and seeing the flash, grabbed the polaroid, and tacked it to the board. Alice called Simone over. "We look 'fierce'."

"Make it work! Oops...wait, wrong show." Simone giggled, it was really, really late, but they were having too much fun. She got to wear ridiculous make-up and it was her job! But how were they going to wake up tomorrow?

Alice laughed. "Woah, it's....early. I better get to bed." She said, and started walking away. "Hey...I know you...put on a kind of front. I do too. But...don't worry about it. You're a fun person. You can do amazing in this competition without it. Just look at that picture." She added.

"Goodnight." Alice finished with a small smile.

"Good night, Alice!" Simone said. It was nice to be understood, without all that psychology mumbo-jumbo crap.

Simone muttered to herself, "No way am I going to make it back to bed. Ah. Gonna fall asleep on the runway..."

Alice awoke in the morning to hear footsteps, talking, and laughing. She stepped out of her room and headed to the bathroom, taking a shower, and blowdrying her long hair straight, so that it hung near her waist. She then went back into her room and got dressed in a pair of skinny jeans, a tank top, flats, and a red hooded sweatshirt that zipped, leaving it partially open. She put on a little makeup, but she didn't need it.

Simone wiped the drool off her mouth, and said "Must've been one wild night...my mind's a blur...all I remember is that I was hanging out with Alice...nah...that couldn't be right...Alice is so cool! I must have been really drunk...this hangover sucks...only I didn't drink last night....then why am I on the runway???"

Simone headed to the toilet to fix up her make-up, and dress into an oversized tee. Oh, and bathe, hehe. She walked up to the noticeboard to see all the winners in their glory...but then there was one picture of her and Alice, looking fee-yuce.

"So it wasn't a dream...or a hangover, for that matter."

London could feel morning sunlight on her face as she awoke. The tantalising smell of bacon and eggs forced her to get up, and she pulled on a heart-print jacket lazily as she headed out of the Pink Room. She noticed that only a few people were awake, and some kind person was making breakfast. London noticed a girl, who she vaguely recognised from last night. She gave the girl a small wave and headed off to the Telephone Room.

mornin girls! bailey screeched as she ran downstairs, she could tell some of the girls wernt quite happy with her cherrinss this early in the morning so she decided to make breakfast. Who wants cherry chip pankaces she called from the kitchen scoffing a couple down, some of the girls looked at her funny. Hadnt they seen someone eat before?

When London emerged from the Phone Room, she laughed at how cheery Bailey was.
"I'll have some." She scoured the refridgerator for some cream. "Isn't there anything fattening in this house? Oh wait, I've found the cream!" She grabbed her plate of pancakes from Bailey and dolloped some cream onto them, then some sugar and neatly ate them.
"They're delicious!" London exclaimed.

Alice walked into the kitchen, and grabbed some pancakes. She started eating, and one of the girls looked at her oddly. "Yeah, I do eat." She said with a smile. "And these are really good."

Hello a deep voice called at the other end,erm hi dad its me..... bailey heard nothing but silence then it came the dial tone, could everything have really been her fault? omg really she shouted holding the phone well get going then quick she giggled, bye. Bailey hung up the phone she didnt want the girls to know she was havig trouble.

Alice nodded. "That's me." She said, and went to put her plate in the sink to clean in, but was also bumped, but being so thin, she fell and hit her arm on the counter. She stood up. "It's fine, I'm okay." She said.

"Oh my god, I am so sorry..." London blushed and her smile quickly wiped away. "Let me take a look at that..."

"Oh, it's just a small cut." She said. "It's nothing." Alice said. She would have been worried 5 years ago, but now it was just a little bruise.

She bit her lip. "I'm so sorry, Alice...God, I am so clumsy!" She walked away silently and headed outside, sitting on the front steps.

Cecilia with her rolling Louis Vutton luggage behind her entered the pink room and managed to grab the empty spot. She unpacked her luggage and put her linens and pillow on the bed. She layed down on the bed(after a day of travel she deserved it) thinking about what this competition has in store for her.

ooh a new girl hi, bailey squealed. hope you enjoy being roomates i can be a bit too cheery sometimes so slap me if i get too much she giggled .bailey wandered into the kitchen and brought a steaming hot plate of pancakes here just for you she smiled, holding the plate out to cecilla. dont worry if you dont want them. I have plenty of room left, just then a girl called out. Hey bailey its the phone for you, bailey ran to the phone room and hunched in the chair. She shivered as the phone met her ear and just managed a hello. It turned out it was her dad they spoke for what seemed like ages, her family hadnt been ignoring her theyd been on the run turns out her ex fortune was made with dodgy dealings.Bailey didnt know how to feel her family still loved her but they were now crooks, she tried to keep quiet and hoped she wouldnt get kicked ot of the contest for this.

Cecilia graciously took the plate of steaming hotcakes and said thank you to Bailey before she ran off to answer a phone call. Not too worried about her figure Cecilia rubbed some butter and poured syrup on the hotcakes and ate them. "MMMMMMM" This had been the first time in a while Cecilia had some buttery fluffy hotcakes. Most mornings she had a small Special K cereal bar to maintain her weight. But im sure its okay for Cecilia to have some real food once in a while. She stuffed another steaming hotcake bite in her mouth.

Alice smiled. "Bailey's a really great cook." She said. "I wonder when we're going to do some photoshoots." She added, making an invisible camera with her hands. Alice looked over at the phone booth and walked over. She knocked on the window lightly and waved to Bailey, who made a hand gesture that meant 'a few minutes'. Alice nodded. She could wait a little bit to call her family.

Ceci smiled "Yeah these are the best hotcakes i've ever had" She gulped another syrupy bite and smiled in approval. "I really can't wait for the challenges. I love doing photoshoots". She sat up and made room for Angel on the bed.

Alice followed Ceci. "I hope it's high fashion." She said, striking a pose. "Well, anything's fine, really." She said with a smile. As she went to pick up a book, she noticed the cut on her arm was still bleeding, and the bandaid was soaked.

Olivia woke up with her head spinnning. Why did she have to drink so much the night before? She slipped out of bed streching her limbs then heading out towards the kitchen to make herself some breakfast.


She knew she was going to regret her alcohol consumption from the night brfore, and she was right. Her head felt as if somebody was pounding against it with great force. When she arrived in the kitchen she smiled at the girls she hadn't yet met and waved at them.


"Breakfast anybody?" she hadn't a clue how long she had slept in, it could be four in the afternoon for all she knew, but it still didn't mean that she couldn't be homely and nice to the other girls. "Oh by the way I'm Olivia Cooper, nice to meet you all." she then brought her hand to her head in a daze, the room was spinning so fast she was surprised she hadn't toppled over something.

Upon her arrival in the kitchen she started rummaging through the fridge for some eggs and milk. After she located them she made her way towards the pantry and found some bread, cinimin, and vanilla.

"Anybody up for french toast, I'm making." Olivia did a whole 'Vanna White' thing, revealing the ingredients to anybody who cared.

Alice turned and gave her a confused. "No..." she looked at her arm. "Oh...um, I hit it earlier this morning...that's weird....it should have stopped bleeding by now." She added, lifting the band-aid to see a bruise form around the bleeding cut. She looked at it worriedly.

"I'll be right back." Alice said, running to the bathroom, trying to make the bleeding stop. She started crying in frustration, and wrapped gauze around it, taping it on her arm. She heard footsteps.

Alice sighed. "I hate hospitals." She said, closing her eyes. Maybe it was a nightmare. Her leukemia couldn't be back. It couldn't.

Flashback....

Alice sat in the hospital bed, playing with her long blonde hair. It was thinner than usual, but she braided it and such so that it would look nice. The 13 year old looked up as her parents entered the room. Her mother's face was slightly sad, and her father was somber. She looked at them with question in her bright green eyes. Her mother walked over to her, and held her hand, starting to cry. Alice looked away from her mother, and read off her chart, 'Leukemia.' She looked back at her mother, and then at her father. Then the doctor entered, and told her about the treatment options.
