I recently had problems with sims 2 so I decided to un-install and re-install. I checked for remaining files and removed them manually. I proceeded to install sims 2. I got all the way to Bon Voyage and it would not let me install it. I have all expansion packs and stuff packs. I tried every which way but it would not install. For some reason, I re-booted my computer into safe mode and was able to install everything from there. I am now able to play the game but it seems to be crashing a lot (blue screen of death). I have tried EA Support to install it regularly but they were no help. I was hoping someone could tell me how to correct this problem. Or is it ok to install under safe mode and play as usual from regular mode. I apologize for not posting the error message, but I have been researching this forever and posting it forever with no sign of help anywhere. If you can help, thanks!
