Been less than a week but lets start this:
1. You go to work yelling 'zoo-ba-di- zoo-ba-di' as always heard when working in the criminal career.
2. You call off work in real life to stay home and play the sims 3.
3. You feel the urge on trash day to kick over your neighbors garbage can at night.

Or you say "soo-sooy" (like when the game starts) instead of "hi".

2. You call off work in real life to stay home and play the sims 3.
I quit my job in April and found a new one that would allow me more Sims Time :)
I was working at a coffeeshop, now I work at a photography studio in a back room all by myself and make phone calls. So I bring my laptop to work and play Sims all day. Bahahaha!

I could do that at my job, but I dont wanna fry my graphics CHIP. Why they can't put graphics cards in laptops I don't get... anyway..
You envy your sim for knowing more things in his short life then you know in your whole life - tons of cooking recipes , how to fix almost anything, how to read a book in less than 5 minutes, knowing how to travel anywhere in town without getting lost etc. -

I work in a coffeeshop as well and today I told them tomorrow I'm not going. (Basically because I hurt my back in the morning and hardly can move). I imagined myself, tomorrow playing sims all day. But they didn't find a cover so I have to go anyway. So probably tomorrow I will work like my sim sometimes when she takes it easy and just chatting with the collegues.

Hahahahahaha oh Wow. Haven't played that in a while, mostly due to my sims 3 obsession.
I know I'm addicted to the sims 3 when I'm washing the dishes and I keep looking up to see a bar above my head to let me know when I'm done

..when you melt your graphics card...twice...from playing the sims too long.
..you dream about sims.
..your spouse is used to falling asleep to build mode music.
..you determine your friends' aspiration/traits.
..you have an entire notebook full of sim info, but your work never seems to get done on time.
..you kick over people's trash can if they say, "What's the point if there's no way to win?"

When you dream that you are playing the game or how you want to build a house and wake up to find you really aren't playing. This has been happening to me ever since I started Sims 2 and continues even now while playing Sims 3.

--Since TS3, you now feel its perfectly fine to knock on any random strangers door, to walk in, cook in their kitchen, read their books, change their tv channels, (while they are in the middle of watching) and even take a "Quick shower" in their bathroom before heading home ^_^
--You no longer talk and socialize with others the way you "Used to" ... now you actually wonder "Should I gossip? Chat? "Get to know" ? perhaps i should greet with a "Leap into arms hug" ?
--in fact you can't do anything without referencing The Sims for "Possible interactions"
--When asking a friend out to lunch, you mention your "Hunger bar is low"
--You call in at work, and mention you cannot go to work today because "Your mood bars are way too low and need to be filled"
--You feel its okay to miss work, as long as its not more than a couple of times per week...
--You are walking and bump into someone on the way, instead of saying "Excuse me" you look up at the sky and start waving your arms in the air.

I knew I'd been playing TS3 too much when.....
I was stood in my garden the other day and could hear some neighbours a few houses away having a BBQ. I swear they were all talking in Simlish!

Bada-bida-bing, bada-bida-boo... I keep forgetting to eat lunch. Past... 6 days or so. HOSHIT, it's been 6 days? Got TS3 on June 3rd... o-o Huh.
I certainly know /I'm/ obsessed when I have a hard time choosing between playing The Sims and watching Star Trek:TNG episodes.

o-o I've had that happen with German and Japanese. Japanese after a six-day /binge/ of constant anime with only a handful of conversations with immediate family members to interrupt it, and German after a three-hour-long immersion class, when I was beginning to be able to think in it, vaguely. xP I believe it is a sign that you are /learning/ the language. xD

Staying up late just to reply to Sims 3 thread at MTS.
Neglecting, somewhat, my virtual pets/adoptables games...and forgetting to call my parents :(.
Feeling little desire to exercise.
Planning my days around Simming, since my game crashes about two-three hours into every session.

When you get your kids to stop yelling at each other in the backseat of the car by telling them that it is causing a -- (minus minus) relationship score. (now a -40 Irritated Mom Moodlet)
When you call home from work to tell your daughter this game tip you found -- because she is home playing and you are stuck in the office. *-20 Sad Moodlet*

LOL LOL LOL Mixed media on that one... been calling my Plumbbob my "JJ" and won't allow anyone to TOUCH it! Considering gluing it shut so I don't lose the gem part. *nodding*
When it's 12:01 AM June 2, 2009 and you are standing at the all night store, tapping your foot cause they should have already HAD these games out on the floor by now. Gah!
Then the guy finally gives you a copy and it's not the collectors edition and you just look at him like he's nuts. Raise an eyebrow and send him scurrying to the back to get the RIGHT copy of the game.
When you and your daughter get up earlier and earlier each morning to try to be the first on the computer. Brat knows I was up till 2 playing. "nah-ROOB!" *hands pointing to child on computer - blocking me from using it*
Sleep is highly overrated
However - I am rather proud of myself because I got up at 5 am the other day to drive my son to the airport - didn't even bemoan the time lost or the fact that previously mentioned daughter was playing when I got home.

Hee. I just worked an anime convention here a couple weeks ago and there were two people wandering around with green plumbobs on headbands. My first reaction was to yell across the floor "What's wrong?"
Them: "..."nothing?"
Me: "Then why aren't you platinum?!" They cracked up after that.
At my new job, a coworker has a fake flower on her cube wall that looks EXACTLY like the incredibly expensive orchid decoration. I'm continually torn between taking a photo of it or just stealing it. It's worth nearly 500 simoleons! :D

I haven't gotten my Sims 3 yet <folds arms, taps foot and gives the Post Office the fish eye>, but when I play the Sims 2, I get hungry when they cook and it's around real world mealtime. I actually went out and bought stuff for mac and cheese because it sounded so good when it popped up on my sim's meal menu. :Pint:

LOL I've probably been kicked out of my guild by now. I hope not...I'm thinking about using my WOW gamecard and playing again because it's taking so long for my Sims 3 game to get here. I don't understand why Amazon doesn't ship pre-ordered items until a week after they come out. You'd think there would be some benefit for pre-ordering. But that's a topic for another thread. :D
