Hey everyone,
I am a huge Sims fan, but have been very disappointed by the Sims 3. I used to play Sims 2 on a pc and modded everything. Now I have 3 on a Mac and am completely lost. Can someone please please please help me figure out how to download content? The information they give on this site is for PC's and doesn't help me. I would appreciate any and all advice.
Thanks
Grant :report:

I think you're looking for help installing rather than downloading content, since the downloading part is just clicking on a link which is the same for both Windows and Mac users.

The wiki articles on installing content include clear, separate instructions for Mac users: http://www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:TS3_Custom_Content

Please read them, and if you have any further problems getting cc to show up in your game, please post to the Game Help forum for Mac users: http://www.modthesims.info/forumdisplay.php?f=552

I play TS3 on a Macbook and just yesterday I was reading the Wiki site to install CC. It's very helpful!

Mmhm. This is what I did. Just followed the instructions on the Wiki and had no problems :)

You guys are welcome to create a Wiki account and add on to any unprotected pages if it needed Mac-specific instructions, you know that, right?
And correct my mistakes or misconceptions, too. Well, that goes for the PC Wiki articles, as well! ;) As long as y'all don't spam the pages with nonsense...

I've only had my hackintosh a few months and am still learning my way around OS X. The last time I taught using Mac OS were those on PowerPCs and to 2nd and 3rd-graders. That was fun and beyond frustrating. :lovestruc

I was the same at first. I could never for the life of me figure out how to get CCs and mods into my game. It quickly pissed me off.
