I always like to start with the hardest things to do then work to the easiest, like the backwards person I am, and my issue at the moment is that I want a curved front shower for the Sims 2 (can't afford a comp to play Sims 3 yet :( ) like the one already in the game but with the door to the side instead of three panes of glass and sliding instead of rotating. I have built this in Milkshape, but now the trick is to get it to work. The original shower has several different GMDC's for glass and pieces of glass it is calling bones, but the CRES lists no joints whatsoever, and I can't find any kind of animation. All I see is PRACTICAL and showerdoor_rot on a bunch of things. So at the moment I am thinking the easiest thing to do would just be to make a shower door animation and somehow get the normal shower function to trigger it? Unless I am completely on the wrong track. This has happened numerous times before, so it is possible. I would also like to move the shower knobs down, though I have never looked closely enough to see if this really matters anyway. I'm going to keep modding Sims 2 until I can get ahold of 3, so I really appreciate any help you can offer :) Thanks in advance :)
