Please Help! Unable to select seperate vertices in milkshape

I'm now unable to select any verticies in Milkshape sometimes it just selects like one. but most of the time it won't let me select any. also when I click and drag, the wire box doesn't appear exactly where the cursor is like it used to. I had tried my hand at making clothing meshes, and I was unsuccessful. So I went back to objects, maybe I selected something in my options that made it to where I couldn't select any verticies. What I'm trying to do is select part of the mesh to delete, instead of the whole thing. I was able to do this before, why not now?

On the right hand side, select the model tab, then select. Below that you will see vertex, face, group, joint - select one of those to define what your selecting.

I still can't select by vertex, only group.

Go to Joints, and there's a line called ''Draw Vertices with Bone Colours''. Check that isn't checked, 'cause if it is, You won't be able to select Vertices.

It wasn't checked, and I still am not able to select by vertex. :(

That's weird.. I had a look through my Milkshape and that was the only thing that didn't allow me to select vertices. :(

I even uninstalled and reinstalled milkshape, to see if that was the problem but still no luck.

I had the same problem. Imported the gmcd with Milksahpe but couldn´t select a vertex, only the whole group. After having tried several times, I gave up, and selected open a new file. A window popped asking me if I wanted to save the changes but :wtf: WTH? I hadn't done any change!. So I saved the mesh as a MS3D instead of importing the file I opened it...and, VOILA! (By the way, sorry, my english is horrible)
