Hello !

Sorry if this question exists ! You can give me just the link if it is. I don't find correct word to search for.

Just want to know if it's possible to delete the original patterns of the game by cloning an object !

Everytime I clone and modify for exemple a bed (to make new cover), the original paterns stay in so I must recolor the bed by the CAS and have 2 files to install in a new game : the cloned package and the recolored one.

It will be easier if I can suppress the patterns of the game and put directly mine in the s3pe !

Is it possible ?

Thanks for your help !

Can I get it clear what your example is doing? You're cloning a bed to make a new cover mesh? Or a new pattern for the cover?

I also have the same question.
When I make a new object, in the game, the new mesh has all the patterns that were on the object i cloned from. What can I do to delete the old patterns (that were in the object i used to clone) from my new package?

And also, i would like to be able to recolour more than just two parts of a custom object, and even if i change the mask and make it have 3 chanels, only 2 will recolour in the game. Is there a way to fix this?

As far as I know, nobody could do that yet.

For changing the default materials, open the OBJD and look for the Materials subgroup in it, and they are somewhere inside there among the many numbers and stuff. But I guess you need to research the names and paths of the materials list to know what to substitute there... :P

Yes it is physically possible to do this in s3pe but it's a manual ordeal. This may be something that is easier once in TSRWorkshop once it is finished

Thank you !
I've looking for coding patterns in the OBJK but, yes, it's really difficult !

Perhaps, by chance, I find one day a way to do so I'll give you immediatly !

Now, I contnue designing new cover - warm duvet for cold winter :o) (yes, in Belgium it's nearly winter, we've started autumn season now)

Thanks !
