SimPE help, please

I had to uninstall and reinstall all games. I had to replace University with new game (University Life Collection - contains IKEA and Teen Style Stuff). Games installed okay. I have all the EP/SP packs, Vista system

When I went to use SimPE to create paintings with wizard. It said Stack Em Up board could not be recolored. I used this one all the time. I ran system test and under Check if the Sim folders point to correct places it says:

Folder The Sims2 - U not found
Unable to locate TSBin\Sims2EP1.exe
Folder The Sims2 - OFB not found
Unable to locate c:\PF\EA games\...IKEA ...\TSBin\Sims2EP3.exe

Can anyone help? :cry: I already tried fix - nothing; uninstall and reinstall both packs. I read all the posted things but did not see this problem. I do not see those files in the folders. I get a big red X in box by please wait. Some things will work. I tried a message to EA help three days ago - still waiting to hear back.

My computer skills - I can turn on machine and click mouse. Computer knowledge level 0

It sounds like the University Collection installs to different folder combination's or something. Open simpe / Extra / Preferences. In the System Folders, under Expansion Packs you will probably find the paths for those EPs blank. Click on the empty path area on the right side side, a small button with three dots (...) will pop up. Click that and browse for the folder of those EPs. ie: C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Open For Business\. Select the folder then click ok, repeat for any missing. Close Simpe and reopen.

Don't forget to update/Install your CEP as well. Anytime you uninstall or install an EP you should remove it and reinstall it. Make sure to backup any additional files you may have put in the zCEP folder.

I got a problem when i play sims 2 and when you have pick that cc disanebled or enabled and is shows for me ! in triangle and:SimPe_0_73_44-QA/Plugins/pjse.coder.plugin/pjseTestData.paskage i had these problems with ! in triangle before so i just delete those files but now theres so much files that i dont know what to delete from SimPe and what to leave! Can anyone help me?

You shouldn't be deleting any files from SimPE!! All these files are necessary for it to work and it won't interfere with the game. If you have deleted files in SimPE you need to uninstall it.

It is normal to have the ! when you start your game with cc in it, it is just warning you that you may experience problems using content made by someone other than EAxis.

Hi all, My SimPe does not load any objects. original game is the only thing in my Preferences and it has the savedgame location. I have all ep and stuff pack but they aren't showing up. When I perform a system check for SimPe, the first box looks for EnableColorOptionsMMAT.package in the wrong location, the second box is checked and the last box details says unable to find objects and textures. How to fix this?

Since it was looking in the wrong place for theMMAT. package I copy and pasted it from my program folder to my downloads folder and now its checked. However, the third box (check the SimPe File Table contains the needed Files) Is still a problem. The options details and fix come up. I pressed fix and ran the check over with the same results. The details still state "Unable to locate Objects. Unable to locate Texturdata" and my ep and sp's are still not underpreferences.

I've been having a few problems with SimPE. I was trying to change the lifetime wants of one of my sims today (not a townie) and as soon as I went into the 'Open Wants and Fears' under 'More', SimPE came up with a message saying 'Object reference not set to the instance of an object'. It won't show any of her 'Wants', 'Fears', 'History' or 'Lifetime Wants' and every on the bottom right side of the screen is gray so I can't select anything. Sometimes it also comes up with a message about JIT Debugging but I can't make head or tail of it. This is happening with a few of my sims but not all of them. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm using Windows Vista and have Nightlife, Seasons, Pets, Freetime, Open for Business and Bon Voyage. I also have the Family Fun, Glamour, H&M and Kitchen and Bath Interior Design stuff packs.
