The Sims Official Site - "Premium" Content

As part of my purchase of the Sims, I got free 1,000 simloens to spend on various extras.

After I had spent my free money, I then thought I would go to the exchange, I then discovered you have to have "premium" content to use some of the uploaded content. It really annoyed me, as I should have gone to the exchange content first and then bought any "Premium" content.

I think I will stick to other sites, to get my content.

You're complaining that some of the uploaded sims contain sim store content? You know that they can be like htat anywhere, right? And that you can get sims without sim store content on the exchange?

Getting Store content free I suppose since that is the only logical conclusion I can arrive.

Yes, the Exchange does strip away Store content from uploads because they are not so STUPID to allow people to get Store content for free IN THEIR VERY OWN SITE.
