Can't Visit Criminal sims?

There is a daughter of my main sim...
Her and her husband are both criminals
And they are the only house I cannot visit, no matter how high the relationship is.


Is it because they are criminals?

I don't think that would have anything to do with it.

Are the sims actually at home when you try to visit them?

Are you sure they still live there and haven't moved house?

What happens when you go to the house and click on the front door?

it never lets me enter no matter if i visit or if i am in town view.

i know they live there... I've even gone there and played them.
