Need help removing extra hair categories

I'm a beginner with simpe & I just read a tutorial written long ago here at MTS about how to remove unwanted hair categories using simpe. I did exactly as told but when I checked in body shop i could still see the child,teenage etc.hair. I restarted simpe & found out nothing had been deleted. I read thru the tutorial several times but, I didn't see anything about saving my changes. Do I have to save them somehow? cause, nothing had changed after deletion & closing simpe & checking bodyshop. I really only use female hair for adults only so I really want to get rid of these other.child,YA,Elder & teen extra hairs. Can someone please help me? Many thanks in advance.

You need to press 'Commit' and Save. As you say I should commit&save,I have to say there doesn't appear a commit botton right after deleting. It does appear however, when I click on an item in the resource list just to disappear right after deleting it though. So no luck . I did this with teen&young adult &toddler group & took a chance& saved & it worked. However I sort of half heartedly have given up the Idea since, it doesn't reduce that particular download in size as I observed so, whats the use of this? Why my changes show up finally after days of guess work but,the content has the same amont of Mb's. There must be a logical answer somewhere. Also I noticed that when I deleted the elderly group the adult hair disappeared from the bodyshop? Any Idea's in this matter? I don't have much CC for other than adult female &would really want to get rid of all this excess hair styles since they're limiting my play time by long loading.
