Funniest, Weirdest, Most Random Thing to happen in your game?

What is the funniest, weirdest or most random thing to happen in your game?

Well, just today I had one.

So I went to China and visited the Academy. As soon as I get there, one of the sims there, who at the time was practicing on a training dummy keeled over and died right where they stood.

I didn't know she was dead, just thought she had fainted from exhaustion. So I was surprised to see the Grim Reaper come. When the sim turned to ghost, it was pink.

So apparently she died from starvation! She was training so long, she forgot to eat!

The house phone rang in my game, everyone was asleep except for the family ghosts and one of them answered the phone! I about fell out of my chair.

Lol yea i seen ghosts do the weirdest things like make their selves Ambrosia when i don't want them to be back but stay dead but no they take it upon their selves and bring themselves back to life for me to kill them again lol

I have never seen them make Ambrosia on their own, but I also keep the life fruits and death fish in a specific WA chest so it won't be wasted on pancakes and sushi. Then when I need to make ambrosia I just grab it out of the chest (put it in his backpack) and use what I need. Makes things easier and less hassle, maybe this will be a solution to your self rezzing sims. If you don't have WA then put the fruit and fish a specific backpack of a sim. The fruit and fish can be in the backpack instead of the fridge and they will access/use it for cooking. I hope this helps.

Ok, so my kid sim Tommy Frenchy was about to get out of school, and since his pregnant mom couldn't go to work I decided to send her to the school to meet Tommy and as soon as Tommy got out of school he walks out with his best friend Jake Brutus and Tommy just stands there staring at his mom with this stare like "Who is this strange pregnant lady?" Then they both ride their bikes off down the road. I just stared at my computer like WTF? And the sad part was that the mom stood there until like 7:00 PM waiting for him to come back! :( She then rode back to the house and Tommy and her haven't talked much since.

Ever since my family had a baby, all they do is sleep. They'll wake up, have something to eat, and then go back to bed until fully rested - which isn't even an hour lol

It's so weird. You basically have to have them constantly doing something or else they'll go to bed. They've all got PPD? :O

I made my boy sim a girlfriend. They went out to dinner at the fancy diner. While my sim was lagging and standing there not putting on his formal tux, Mr. Landgraab ( I forget his name ) was flirting with her. So, enraged, I turned on testingcheatsenabled true and shift-clicked Mr. Landgraab, clicked Object... and, Delete. Hurr. It felt good. But after a while, like, maybe a couple sims weeks ( maybe 5? ) the Landgraab mansion was empty. I guess his wife and kids coldn't stand him not being there, and suddenly DIED.

My Sim got married on his fiancee's birthday. She aged up to Adult during the wedding party. Then, right after they exchanged rings, her father died.

I came back to a household, after playing another household for a short while, and found the only living resident had gotten himself a girlfriend behind my back. With one of his coworkers (who he had been friends with before I exited his household). Should be exciting as his 'love interest' who I want to move in with him also works at the same place as the two 'love birds'.....so far nothing has happened yet :/

I had a family of sims ( father, mother, two kids( one child, on toddler)), and placed them in a house in Sunset Valley. Played with them for a week, then moved to another family for awhile. After about 3 sim weeks, I had a sim say some gossip, and the thing popped up saying "Supposedly Akurei Fujiwara and Aki Hinata are engaged!". Akurei was the father of the household, Aki was another sim on the other side of town. I thought, WTF?, and changed to the Fujiwara household as my main.

It turns out that in those 3 weeks, he divorced his previous wife, knocked up another woman in town( with a son named Ulysses), and then knocked up Aki and decided to marry her. Shortly after the wedding, she gave birth to twin girls.

Today my sim was adventuring in france and he locked himself in a room by accident and while i was trying to figure out how to get him out again his vacation finished so he flew home... i thought he really shoulda missed his flight...

Haha, My toddler sim had been on the potty and had really low energy so after getting off the potty she fainted on the floor - with her HEAD in the POTTY!
I had a photo, it was funny - not sure what I did with it though, hehe!

Well i dont know if it is weird or not but my sim got married and then her wife died. Then she got married to Mortimer and he turned old, and while he was fixing a computer he got shocked, dying in the process..... I was not happy. Then they both came back as my sim's fiance and didnt disappear after the sun came up. They also used everything around my house, while my sim was at work and made messes. I was like WTF and i tried everything to get rid of them......i ended up cheating to get rid of them.

The weirdest thing to ever happen to me I still don't understand how it happen was this:

I had made a tomb in Sunset Valley quite awhile ago (a complex one) and I was now finally letting my sim expolre it. My sim got more than 60% through the tomb unlocking doors, diving through wells, setting off traps, etc. Until it happen, my sim just went in a room (3 floors underground) and once it light up there was a SIM!! It was a normal sim from the neighbourhood that I actually haven't seen for 6 sim weeks (of course I don't think he was there for that long). But how did he get there? its impossible for a sim to automaticly go this deep into this tomb (because sims can't solve puzzles by themselves) but yet the tomb was untouched.

He was starving, he smelled, and there was puddles all over the place. He keep complaining there was nowhere out, I keep continuing the tomb as usual and got a bit carried away that I was no longer paying attention to the sim (he was called Lance Whitestone).

I had finally finished expolring my tomb which took 30 sim hours to expolre. When my sim was going back I had just remember about Lance Whitestone (the sim stuck in the tomb) I was looking at where he was stuck but he was gone! It looked like he just disappeared without a trace (which was freaky). I looked in the Whitestone household where he lived but it said he didn't live there (I searched all the other households as well). It has been about 25 sim weeks in my neighbourhood since that event and I have not seen him since.

My guess it was a glitch that put him there and it must of deleted him after I saw him from a fault.

This is spooky so does anyone know what might of happen?

lol thats the weirdest thing ive ever heard lol. Maybe he died down after you went past him or maybe he tried to leave when you saw him and he got killed by a trap

I was working on the martial arts tournament in China, and for some reason, whenever my sim called the next tournament contender to come over... Jiannan Lu would accompany him or her... buck naked :O Dunno why she kept turning up without her clothes on, but it looked like the game might have peremptorily summoned her out of the shower, since she and the rest of the entourage would also turn up starving and insist on eating before the fight. Did martial arts opponents always bring a crowd along with em, including a nudist or two? ;)

As for the sim in the tomb, I saw that happen once in one of the China tombs. I think I used "resetSim" to send em home so they could eat and rest :/ No idea what caused it though.

This gave me a good laugh! Infant floats baby out of high chair after extending its neck crazy like to the sky. Then proceeds to slide across the floor on it's back as it floats the child above it. I've attached a screen shot so you can see how crazy this looks! :rofl:

I threw a party and intended to kill the guests, but in the end, can't stand the ideas to drown them or to starve them to death so I removed the fences and release them. Stupidly, this Fiona French doesn't want to leave my house, I have to use moveobjects on to put her outside the fences, riddiculously, she's still standing there, yelling at my sim and there is an autonomous "ask to behave" in the queue and my sim even got a moodlet of "Rude Guest", how do I supposed to let her go without killing her :cry: ?

Try TestingCheatsEnabled True, then ResetSim "Fiona French" (full name with quotes around it).

In my game, Holly and Michael Alto-Bachelor are married with a couple of children. I aged up their son, Vasyl, to meet the age of one of my Sims, Georgia. He asked her to move in with the family, which she did. It was late evening and after everyone greeted her, they all went to bed. At about 3 am, everyone in the household except the child Eugenia got up from their sound sleep and wandered outside with "go outside" as their action. I play with Free Will turned all the way up so I didn't really think anything of it - I canceled their actions and sent them back to bed. They all walked to the top of the stairs in their two-story home, stopped, stood there a moment, then went back down the stairs and out the door. Puzzled, I canceled the action again and sent them to bed - again.

This was a vicious cycle that lasted through a change to 0 Free Will all the way up until dawn. At dawn, they all autonomously went back to bed.

This hasn't happened since and I have no idea what caused it. Maybe it was just time to worship the moon?

I was chilling in the mausoleum one day, and I noticed that I could get the remains of a family friend. I did, and placed them on my lot. I never saw a ghost. My main sim was pregnant at the time, and the weird part came up when her 2nd child was a teen. The ghost of Erin Kennedy spawned...and never went away. She wasn't playable or selectable, but she would read books, sleep on the kids' beds, and use the appliances like a normal sim. She was there for about 4 sim-days before I force-deleted her...she never despawned at daylight!!

This very same thing happened to me yesterday. Went to complete an opportunity, walked in, and she died. Pink ghost, too. I got a snapshot of it...on the good camera, woo. Then Death started to use the training dummy.
I know why Death did that.

In my game, I've been using the NRaas Story Progression, which has a few funny quirks. A few days ago I got a message telling me that Jared Frio had beaten Grim Reaper in a fight and thrown him the trash. That's kind of embarrassing for the Grim Reaper...

Now, next time they fight, Grimmy will know Sim-Fu!

I was playing in Riverview tonight... and Sheldon Bagley, the cop, fell in love with and married his patrol partner, George Dean (the guy from the old firehouse). George being a family sim, they called the agencey to adopt a little girl... and the adoption agency lady drove her car straight over the Bagley lawn and into the house :O Happened so fast I didn't get a screenshot, unfortunately!

Luckily, the little girl was unharmed.

I've seen double age transitions happen a couple of times in the evenings. I've wondered if it is something that happens when the sim starts the automatic (non-cake-forced) age transition process while preparing to use the cake.
