View Full Version : Quick Way To Tell the Type of Mod?
21st Mar 2010, 10:20 PM
I'm trying to figure out whether I actually have any core mods installed right now, and while I realize I could look at every single mod I have installed, I'd be looking through for weeks.
Is there some quick way to tell?
Sorry if this is in the wrong place (as far as I can work out, it's not ^^;)

A core mod is always fairly large, since it has to contain the core. There are also not too many of them out there because maintaining a core mod is a lot of work.

If you have a core mod, that should be clearly flagged wherever you downloaded it from, as well. But if you're asking whether you can tell just by looking at the package filename, for instance, you can't.

Sorry, if this is not the right spot, I am new. But I am having trouble downloading mods. I download it and it says open to or save file. I open it to the Sims 3 launcher.

Sims3Teen, this is the wrong place. Please ask any questions about installing mods in Game Help (http://www.modthesims.info/forumdisplay.php?f=551). Do read the FAQs first: Game Help:TS3 Custom Content.
