Hey there, here I am again ;)
I am creating a bed atm and it got panels in the head and foot board.
No problem so far, i already created many objects like that but now wings does strange things to my model while creating.

I only resized a cube, used "inset" on the larger faces and then once again to get the panelled look. So far so good ^^ Then I added some boards to cut the panel into 5 smaller panels. When I selected everything and hit combine, this came out:

I thought it was just a hiccaugh and did it all over again since it was just a few steps but now everytime I use inset for the second time, the faces inbetween get invisible.
Does anybody know why and what I can do to fix it? I already tried triangulating since it helped me before when I had trouble with facets but nothing changed.

Any ideas?

For some reason the new version of Wings is doing this when combing multiple groups. I think it is how they are smoothing the shapes now. What I've done is combine one or two mesh parts at a time to combine, and/or select all and right click/autosmooth both before and after combining.

Okay, thanks, I'll try this. Or I'll leave combining out alltogether oO
I tried everal times to install an older version of wings but it just doesn't do it. I always end up with the newer one, son't know what it did with my registry or if it updates itself...
