I went through the steps for installing Sims 3 Packages in the help section but it's not working. (I put a mods/package folder in sims 3 documents along with the resource file but when I put .sims3package files in it still won't work) This is the case for both Sims Store Packages and Custom Content Packages that are saved in the .sims3package format.

I'm talking about the .sims3package files with the sims icon on them which you can click and the launcher comes up to install them in the game.

So I clicked install and then the package showed up as installed in the installed items section but when I went into my game the new items where nowhere to be found and when I quit and looked back at the installed items section it showed them as not installed yet.

It's really frustrating and I don't know what to do....I haven't really touched the sims 3 since World Adventures comes out I'm just wondering if anything happened like this has happened to anyone else and how is it fixed?

Is there a program I can use to install .sims3packages without using the launcher? I really didn't want to post this here cause it say's you shouldn't ask for help here but I'm really at a loss and there's no help forum. :(

You can either do select all- and click the reinstall button - which is what I have had to do in the past- they will install after that - or you can download Delphy's Sims 3 Pack Multi Installer (http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=364038) here at MTS which will import them into .pkg files so that you can simply plop them in your mods/packages folder

The Help forum is linked on the front page of the Help FAQ sections.

Sims3pack files are installed differently than package files and you cannot just put sims3packs in the Mods\Packages folder.

Please follow the FAQs under the Help > Sims 3 > Custom Content FAQs page - there are instructions on installing the three major types of content. If you continue to have problems then please post in the Help section.
