Have to reinstall for each launch

Whenever I want to play, I have to open regedit, delete the Mansion and Garden folder, reinstall through EA Downloader, and then I can launch.

I've been struggling with this for years, so I can't say when it started. It did not start before M&G was released, that much I do know.

I have all expansions and all stuff packs except for Celebration, K&B, and Ikea. Don't know if it matters, but I am using an uberhood setup. Download folder removed for testing.

If I do not do this, my game won't launch. I double click the desktop icon and see the launch window, press play, the launch window closes, my cursor rotates a few times, then nothing.

Occasionally, the game will attempt to launch three hours later.

Try bypassing the launcher. Instructions are in this faq (http://www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Bypassing_Bon_Voyage_Launcher). Instead of Sims2EP7, just use the exe for the most recent EP (or possibly M&G) that you have installed.
