I've been wondering if there's any fairly useful freeware out there for editing and making movies and machinima. Windows movie maker is alright but I feel like I need a few more features (panning, glow, multiples audio layers etc...)

I also need to know what the appropriate settings are to record a clip in the sims2, including the audio, that produces a smooth result as if I was recording without sound.

Any suggestions?

Ugh, I'm wondering the same thing. It seems the closest I've found were only trials/demos.

Lightworks is good, but buggy. It also takes getting used to, but otherwise it's the best you're gonna get for free.

Well...I just downloaded the free version of videopad- but I am not sure if it's a trial or not... :( But it's really good.

And here is a turtle, I like turtles. :turtle:
