Angry Ghost Invasion

So here is something i have been wondering. Many of these ghosts you seek and convince to move on or the ones which are part of the angry invasion. Can you make friends with them and get them to move in your house?

Anyone tried it? I just want to try to get me one of those outfits!

Seems you can't. I tried that just yesterday... I had a ghost invasion, and the first ghost that came out was this handsome prehistoric guy. I liked him so much that I thought it would have been a pity to just exiliate him or whatever, so I used the testingcheatsenabled thing to raise his relashionship with my sim, making them best friends. Then, I searched for the option to "ask him to live together", but it didn't appear. So, I tried with another cheat from testingcheatsenabled, selecting the ghost and making him part of the active household. It worked for a while (funny how his lifetime wish was "being a rockstar" XD), but, when I told the ghost to come back home, he didn't come home with my sim, but he stayed in the house where I found him. Later, when I deleted the opportunity to get rid of ghosts in that house, he completely vanished, both from the game and my household.

I'm guessing there's no chance to have a ghost from the invasion in your house, so :blink:

Being invaded by angry ghosts isn't really quite the problem in TS3 it was in TS2, given that they are completely harmless. They can't kill anyone or make anyone pee, merely float around being annoying.

Sidheed, all the ghost outfits I have seen are available via the Time Machine. No idea about moving them in though.

I tried this once as well, I'd always wanted to attempt having a ghost baby since I read so long ago that it was possible. So since it seemed so easy to get to friendship status with the ghosts the ghosthunter was always hunting I thought I'd hook up with one of them. Didn't work out how I wanted lol

If you "editsim" in CAS, you can save a copy to the bin and then move him in later. With testingcheats you can pick a death for him and have him float about in your home, if he does not show up as a ghost when you move him in. :)
